This is excellent accommodation and we were in a lovely spacious bedroom, that was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts - Karl and Carol, were great and made us feel welcome into their home. The breakfasts were great and well cooked. Nearby is a local pub - 'Hare and Hounds' which was only about a 5 minute walk away, ideal for an evening meal, with a good, varied menu and they provided large portions. I particularly enjoyed their steak and ale pie with a proper top and base to the pie - not just a pastry topping ! It is a popular place to eat and worthwhile making a booking to avoid disappointment. 'Lazy Days' is also located close to a bus stop if wishing to visit Whitby, or even Robin Hoods Bay, or even further afield. It is so much easier than taking a car then having to find a parking space and the cost of parking charges. Overall, it is an excellent place to stay & I have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends if visiting this area.
Nothing to dislike.

We chose to stay just outside Whitby, having struggled to find somewhere in the centre with ground floor access and parking adjacent given I have mobility issues. Although not wheelchair accessible (it didn’t claim to be) it was perfect for us with minimal and deep steps. A short taxi ride only into the centre which was spot on. Rooms were spotless and spacious and the breakfast was divine. It’s clear that time and effort goes into making the place clear and a tray is left outside each room for you to leave dirty boots so we assumed this was popular with walkers. Really friendly hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. We visited the Hare and Hounds pub 5 mins walk away (not the best surfaces for wheelchairs to get there) and the food there was amazing with huge portions although not cheap. Great for a treat.
Bed was supersize which was great but the pillows were thin. I’m sure more would have been provided if we’d asked so that’s on us for not asking but I’d recommend the owners think about some a little plumper.

We booked to stay for 3 days at Lazy Days. We loved everything about it. The hosts Karl & Carol are such lovely welcoming people, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spot on, very clean, with tasteful decor, very spacious, with a good sized shower cubicle and a comfy large bed. The dining room is very nice and breakfasts are superb. Whitby is only a short drive away and so is Robin Hoods Bay. There are some excellent places to dine out close by too. We would definitely stay there again.
Absolutely no negatives about our stay.

Perfect location for visiting Whitby, bus stop almost right outside property. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and maintained. Very quite, Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared and served. Wi-fi good. The hosts request that you leave outdoor shoes outside your room,(a place to put them is provided ) an excellent idea ! Guests have own separate entrance to hosts which is also a great idea.
Slightly disappointed that the shower in our room was rainfall design only. I don’t like these, but that’s my own personal preference

Excellent stay, room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Really quiet as not in the centre of Whitby! Good, frequent bus service outside the property into Whitby or Robin hoods bay and Scarborough! Weather was great too which was a bonus😎 Nice pub 5-10 minute walk from B&B, bit pricey tho! Karl and Carol were perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast all cooked to order. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day. Lazy Days is set in a delightful village on the Moors yet just yards from a smashing pub serving exceptional food. We had just the one issue with a too-firm mattress but this was resolved immediately. Fresh milk in the fridge too which is always a plus for us. Karl and Carol are the perfect hosts.
We couldn't fault it in any way.

The location was perfect, scenic, and quiet. The breakfast was hot, plentiful, and delicious. Plenty to choose from. The bedroom was lovely, perfectly clean, lovely bathroom, and plentiful hot water. Lots of space, drawers, wardrobe, towels. Coffee/tea-making facilities are available for hot drinks, with real milk! There is a shared fridge just outside in the hallway for storing items should you wish to use it. A very nice village pub with fab food just a short 4-minute walk away. Parking is great. Bus stop just across the road. Karl & Carol are fabulous hosts, lots of little extra touches for that 'made to feel special' experience.
Absolutely nothing! Your every need is catered for, and if, by chance, you do anything at all, just ask! There is nothing we would change at all.

It was a lovely large room, found it very quiet considering it not being far off a busy road. Able to catch the bus into Whitby made it enjoyable
Found it rather warm, it would of been nice if a fan had been offered. Small choice offered at breakfast, was expecting the request on the 2nd day but it did not materialise, so was served as what we had on the first day. Overall really enjoyed the stay just slight niggles.

The hosts were great, the room was very spacious & breakfast very nice ( full English ) cereals too if you wanted. Location good with a bus stop nearby that went to Whitby or over the road you could get one to Scarborough via Robin Hoods Bay if you wanted to leave your car at the guest house. There is a pub 5mins away called the Hare & Hounds that do nice food too .

The property is situated in a perfect location just outside Whitby, it’s exactly how it is on the pictures. And the facilities within the rooms are amazing. The hoists are superb, very friendly their attention to detail to make your stay welcome is one of the best I have experienced on booking.com . followed up by an amazingly cooked breakfast in the morning all local produced from the local butchers. Karl and his wife have an exceptional set up here, and the value for money is five star all along
Nothing, it was all five star
