Beautiful room (it was huge) good value for money and central location a few minutes walk from the train station. We were greeted by the lovely host on arrival, who looked after our bags as we were early so we could go about our day and pop back to check in later on. When we checked in our bags were in our room for us.

We had a misunderstanding about the keys, there were multiple room keys in one locker and we took 2 keys, so mistake was of course ours but being over 20 years in the tourism business I would have dealt with it differently. The manager-on-duty was very annoyed and angry and it made our day a bit less nice. I would suggest more key lockers and shorter messages to renters. I got a 15 page (on mobile phone) msg with instructions so did not read it all in an alleyway trying to get the key. So my fault 100% but an unpleasant experience

The location is fantastic, literally a 1 minute walk to Windsor castle ! All shops , restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Comfortable bed & everything you need there .

Not staffed out of hours & ideally we would have asked how to get the air con in room cooler as was set at 20 degrees which would normally be fine , but was 32 degrees for our visit on 9th September 2023 and could not open windows because street noise from nightclub nearby would be too loud . We tried everything , but nothing would get temperature lower on unit ?

great location, beautiful and clean rooms

minor issues only, no parking nearby as it is in a walking only area by the castle. no elevator, it’s a walk up.

- Whilst I can't rate the staff, as we used self check-in and check-out, the communication emails beforehand were very clear and made for a smooth experience. - The room was very generously sized and tastefully decorated - Comfortable bed and pillows - Room was nice and dark - Fantastic, convenient location in Windsor - After reading other reviews about noise from the street, I was a bit concerned, but the recent work the hotel has done meant that the noise was completely muffled and hardly audible at all from inside the room - For the size of the room and the location, this room was good value for money.

- The room was far too hot, even on a night in March where the temperature was around 0°, but couldn't open the windows due to the noise from the street - Loose floor tiles in bathroom - The "Handsoap" provided was a bottle of shampoo, which I felt was very unhygienic.

Close to everything in Windsor. Good base, plenty of taxis if you can't walk far, clean rooms, nice shower.

Ok, and this isn't a criticism of the owner. You are central to everything, including a nightclub, the extremely rowdy nightlife, which goes on till 3-4 am, glass bins being emptied, drunken yobs and although they include earplugs as part of your room, frankly I wouldn't stay here again.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t a reception - also I contacted the hotel using the number suggested and there was no answer so had to ring the door bell which felt slightly unusual especially when the cleaner came down from servicing the rooms to deal with us. He was very helpful it just didn’t seem fair him dealing with us and a few other customers. also whilst the room was quiet it was quite annoying late at night post midnight as you could hear the music from the club

The location is amazing: literarily 1 min walk from the station and 20m from the main high street with all amenities and 5 mins walk from castle main entrance. Host has been wonderful and vary open to respond to our very specific needs (we where in Windsor for the triathlon race). Quiet and very large room

My ONLY concern is the quality of the wifi. I was not able to have decent connection and have to tether with my phone. Solved that, this is 10 points location.

The location of the hotel was brilliant for what we needed, in walking distance to everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was really comfy. The information pack in the room was really helpful for first timers in Windsor too, we will definitely be back!

The only main problem was the lack of parking at the hotel and the fact that all nearest carparks were quite expensive. It would be good if the hotel could recommend some places to park and an idea of prices. Also the lighting in our room wasn't the best, (quite dim lighting)

It was absolutely perfect for us. We wanted somewhere to stay that was stylish and central and a sensible price and that is exactly what we gor.

The bathroom had a lovely long bath with a shower over it which my husband could get to work, but it was not a major problem and probably more to do with a lack of technical skills (we did mention it when leaving in case it is a problem for the next guests). Also the safe did not work, but again not a problem for us and we did mention when leaving.
