The room #1 I stayed was spacious, spotlessly clean and had all that I would need for my stay. Looks like the room has just been renovated. It was good that I was able to reserve a secured parking space adjacent to the building. I enjoyed the excellent English breakfast. The staff was very friendly so I could feel at home.

I have no complaint at all. It would be perfect if they could also accept cashless payment as I usually don't carry cash for my regular short visit in the UK - but surely this is not a thing affecting total satisfaction of my stay. Remember that Windsor is located on air approach lanes to & from Heathrow where you hear jet noise regulalry. Personally it was not a problem but you might want to know it before booking this place if you are sensitive about such noises (however all hotels in Windsor should have the same problem more or less I think).

We were given a very warm welcome by the owner and able to check into our room much earlier than we expected. We were in Room 2,a beautifully decorated comfortable room with everything we needed. We stayed just one-night as we were visiting Windor Castle. Our pre ordered breakfast was amazing and presented beautifully. The Rutlands is a stunning property, and we would recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Windsor. We'll definitely return to The Rutlands if staying over again in Windsor. Having parking at the property is also a bonus, especially as our visit coincided with Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Staying at the Rutlands in the main street of Windsor was a great location, clean & tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. Only been in the direct flight path made it a bit noisy, however it was quite homely and comfortable.

We didn't feel very comfortable having to leave our suitcases all day outside of the property, as the side gate was not locked, so anyone could of had access to stealing our luggage, if they saw it there. We were told there was no room inside to store it, and that there was no-one there during the day to retrieve it. I know that a person's luggage had been stolen from there once before. Also having to pay ten pounds for parking each day was quite steep, considering we were paying guests already. The older man who checked us in, didn't seem to be very happy, and didn't smile at all, and we felt he was watching our every move, which felt quite uncomfortable at times! First impressions do count! So feeling welcomed and treated with a warm & friendly smile does make all the difference.

A spotless place with lovely little extras. The owners were very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful.

The flightpath for Heathrow was directly overhead on our first night and very noisy. However, this had changed on day 2 & to put into perspective anywhere near the centre of Windsor would have plane noise.... The room would benefit from heavy curtains across the windows as the blind did not keep out the daylight.

I would give this B&B more than 10 stars. It was absolutely immaculate. So clean. All the extra touches. We loved Room 5. The owners were lovely. Extra for car parking but worth it, as prices in Windsor same price for about 5 hours. Didn't have breakfast , but if we stayed again. Less than 2 minutes to nearest pub and restaurants and approximately 10 minutes to the castle. Would love to stay again. .Thank you.xx

The gentleman who greeted us was very polite and welcoming . The room was lovely and clean and the bathroom looked as though it had recently been fitted ,nice and bright . The lady who cooked breakfast was delightful .

The room was compact and unfortunately no air con but a fan was provided ,it was also the hottest weekend of the year too ,this was ever so minor because it was so clean and fresh and staff here are lovely .

Easy to find, excellent location within a short walking distance of all the sights of Windsor and Castle. Reserved secure parking very appreciated. Warm welcoming and friendly hosts. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean house and room. Modern spacious bathroom with excellent shower pressure and quality soft towels. Lovely tea tray. All the facilities you could need. Numerous restaurants of all cuisines in the area. Beautifully laid tables in the breakfast room. A selection of cereals and delicious fresh juices and fruit salad. A choice of pre booked breakfast options. Delicious, nicely presented well cooked breakfast. Finished with toast and jam you’re set up for the day. An absolute gem of a bed and breakfast with a winning combination of traditional features and modern amenities.

Leaving.

Nice friendly owners. The breakfasts were lovely and very freshly cooked. Although costing a little extra, the secure on-site parking was great and the town centre was less than 10 minutes walk away.

Having to order breakfast the night before was a throwback to the 70s! And be prepared to be woken at 4.30 am by the planes directly overhead - though this would be the same wherever you stay in Windsor.

One of the coziest, most comfortable stays I’ve ever been in. First of all, I was met with the friendliest hosts ever. My room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and super clean, and best of all- smelt amaaazing and calming. I regret staying only one night here, the bed alone was extremely comfortable. I was able to walk everywhere from there too. I will def go back!

Everything was perfect

Room exceptionally clean. Everything provided that you might need, small touches, high quality. Staff were very welcoming, couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast was excellent. Location fantastic.

The room was on the top floor with very steep and narrow stairs. Only stayed one night so not much of a problem. Water boiler gurgled away all night if you are a light sleeper. Bed not hugely comfortable but we both have back troubles, are used to a King size and often find this. Others may find completely comfortable though so only our opinion based on older bones!!
