The location of the hotel was excellent. Could not have been better. My room and en-suite were spotlessly clean and the room was comfortable, if a little difficult to find and get to - too many stairs which I found difficult. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was as good as buffet breakfasts always are, not as hot as one would prefer, but tasty.

Only the fact that I was on the second floor and there were a lot of stairs to navigate and not the easiest route. But that is only because I struggle with stairs and luggage. It was taken to my room when I arrived, but I could not get through to reception to ask for it to be collected when I left. Parking in the car park next to the hotel was expensive because I could not get booked into the hotel spaces, too few. Station Car Park was a little bit away and although cheaper, was a nightmare for those of us who find getting parking apps on our phones a nightmare. Had to go into the station where they have a machine which accepts payment through credit cards!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Steeped in history and oozing with charm, it truly transported me to a bygone era. The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to shops and attractions, making it a breeze to explore the area. Having breakfast included was a fantastic perk, and it provided a delightful start to each day. The staff was friendly and attentive. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the airport and train station, with direct access to Waterloo, made my travels incredibly convenient. To top it off, the surrounding area boasted a remarkable selection of world-class cuisine and inviting pubs. I highly recommend the Eaton Windsor Hotel for its historic charm, great location, and excellent amenities.

While my stay at the Eaton Windsor Hotel was enjoyable overall, there were a few aspects that fell short of my expectations. One of the main drawbacks was the absence of a lift, which made navigating the multiple stairs a bit challenging, especially when carrying luggage. Additionally, the hotel seemed to be in need of some updating. However, I was aware of its historic nature, dating back to the 1600s, when I made my reservation and chose it for its prime location. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's central location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and dining options.

location , the staff were very good , one thing we thought could have improved it was the fact that no one staffed the gorgeous outside terrace, no food was served outside either , with lovely weather and long light evenings and the view why wouldn’t you want to sit outside ! Bed was comfortable, nice sized room ! decor could be slightly plusher considering other areas were so ! nice light dining area , good breakfast ! anything I asked the staff for , nothing was too much trouble , water on reception area , which I filled my bottles alot of times as it was very warm weather ! checkout was great , they kept our stuff there til we left later , plus I asked about our parking which we had prepaid for which would have run out , they said just leave it there til we want to leave !

nothing except not being served on the terrace with drinks , having to get them yourself

15 t0 20 minutes taxi ride from LHR.( $45-$50) We stayed in room located directly across street from Eton/Riverside Station. The majority of rooms are across the street from the building in photo. Newly refurbished.Best bathroom/ shower.Restaurant looks right out to river ,15 feet away. No British beer on tap. I settled for a Guiness. If you really like British beer go up the road to 15 Thames St.( King&Castle) 2 dozen beers on tap. Deal, fish&Chips plus 1 pint for $15. I had a Worthingtons, really smooth!!!

Location was superb with great views for breakfast. Room good and clean. Breakfast was very nice in a relaxed atmosphere. Staff on reception very polite and helpful.

Had to ask for towels and room to be serviced for our 2 night stay. Expected it to be done at £200 per night. Parking was awful. Busy weekend and all “reserved and paid for” spaces were taken on arrival by non-hotel residents. Had to move our car a couple of times as worried about getting fined. Ok in the end though after some shuffling.

Location was excellent within walking distance of the town attractions. Breakfast was also excellent sat next to a window watching the boats go by.

Had difficulty booking this direct over the phone staff didn't seem to know procedures. When I eventually spoke with a member of staff about making a reservation I was told that there were no rooms available. I immediately checked out Booking.com & found five rooms available, needless to say I went ahead & booked a room.

Friendly staff nothing too much trouble, food was excellent, lovely sitting rooms , room was comfortable with an amazing shower. check in and check out could be done online meaning no waiting in queue at reception.

I am disabled and the way into the hotel had steps so we were taken down a side alleyway to the back entrance it was dark and I wouldn’t have wanted to go in that way if I were on my own. we were put in a room over the road from the hotel which was lovely but we had to walk a fair bit to get breakfast which was in the main hotel and we had to carry my Walker up the steps to avoid having to go in the back entrance. it would have been more acceptable to have had a room in the main part of the hotel. if you have no mobility issues there would be no problem. Beds had hard mattresses. I am diabetic and they only did 2 sugar free drinks so could do with more choice

We needed to change rooms as had been allocated a room on the ground floor and felt a bit exposed as the room looked out onto a street. Travelling with my elderly mother I knew we'd probably be spending a good bit of resting time in the room. The hotel were very accommodating and found us a new room on a higher floor. They were very pleasant and polite about it all.

On our last night there was a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms. Door slamming and shouting. It made us feel a little bit unsafe but other than that incident the hotel was perfect.

The location suited us very well as we did not have a car. Everything was walking distance away. The room had everything my husband and I wanted - thick, fluffy robes, good hanging space, plenty of space in bathroom to put my make-up and toiletries, very powerful shower. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a perfect place to stay in Windsor.

Everything was great.
