Air-conditioned! The bar was extremely accommodating. We brought in our own wine and cheese and crackers, and they brought us plates, napkins, wine key etc. Breakfast was good, omelet was more of a frittata, but the kitchen was extremely accommodating in customizing your breakfast order. Rooms were comfortable, we reserved a room with a king sized bed, (room 21) so ours was larger than our friend traveling with us.

There are only steps here, so you do need to carry your luggage upstairs. It is a bit of a walk into town and to the rail station. Not too bad, but could be considered a hike if someone has trouble walking. The good news is the hotel is down the road from the guard station, so you are not closed off the mornings they are changing the guard if you want to get out.

This was about 35% more than the other rooms we stayed in during our UK trip, but it was by far the best experience we had. The quality of the breakfast alone made the higher cost worth it. Very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful staff, larger than average size room (the 'suite') newly renovated, tastefully done, large bathroom with separate tub and walk in showers, AC on a couple of hot days, the best freshly prepared (nothing in those prepackaged envelopes!) and table served breakfast each day on real dishes with real silverware, cups, table cloths etc. (french press coffee, salmon, eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, fresh fruit, jam and more), a short walk to the Castle, shops and restaurants and some parking all included.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the night staff member, and from there, each staff member was friendly, happy to help, and asked what else they could do. We were a bit early, and they made extra efforts to get us in our room. We are grateful for that extra effort. The breakfast is sumptuous and sets you up for the day. The bar meals are also varied and tasty and well priced. Being dog friendly with snacks, food and water for guests, it is also a good place for dog owners. We will return and recommend this hotel.

A minor observation and easy to resolve (room 17). In the room there is a step that leads into the bathroom, with carpet covered in the same colour as the main room. They do easily blend into each other momentarily, and could be better marked out, or changed to another carpet colour on the step. There is a sign to the left of the step stating ‘mind the step”, so we noted that. But when you are half asleep, you would not remember. This could lead to a trip hazard if you are not remembering or elderly with lower quality vision.

The location was brilliant. The staff were really nice and friendly and helpful. It was clean and tidy and it felt nice to be there.loads of hot water meals were nice

The room, which we had was very small that there was no room for a mini fridge or drawers there was a lamp on a bedside table table, which could’ve been changed to accommodate a small set of drawers the bathroom didn’t have a shower hat and the bath was really small if you have trouble getting out of a bath better to use the shower I think there was a option to upgrade to a bigger room at times a smell came up from the sink

Stayed here a few times in the past. Room 10 on our most recent visit.room was a lot smaller than what we have experienced on previous visits & could not swing a cat in the very small bathroom. (Honest appraisal) Rooms are clean. Staff very friendly as always.

Car parking charges of £20 a day are very high considering you are already a guest paying good money for the rooms. car park is limited & tight to manoeuvre. barrier was not working properly & I ended up scuffing my car wheel trying to be courteous to another driver who was behind me. Annoyed as had the barrier been raised straight away I would have just driven in without issue.

The hotel is within easy walking distance of Windsor high street and castle, the restaurant food was good and the bar is comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. The staff here are all friendly and will engage in small talk, which makes one feel very welcome. Other sights in the area such as Ascot, Virginia Water and the Brooklands Motor Museum are all within a short driving distance.

Entering the hotel car park is a bit tricky due to the large number of cars parked on the road and the narrowness of the car park entrance. The intercom for barrier-raising cannot be accessed without exiting your vehicle. On the other hand, free and/or street parking is virtually non-existent within the vicinity of the hotel, so I definitely recommend paying the additional fee for hotel parking; it just makes your stay so much more convenient.

All the staff were engaging, helpful, accommodating and most important smiling and positive. Location was excellent, the building was lovely and the environment was very clean and comfortable, both in the evening with the. stylish and cosy bar, and during the day, with the fresh and comfortable restaurant, dinning facility for breakfast. We, also decided to finish our breakfast outside in the garden because the weather was beautiful, which the waiting staff kindly facilitated for us. The availability of secure parking was another positive about the property that was very important to us.

I can only speak from our own tastes and point of views and for that reason we couldn’t find any issues with the property that could have or did effect our stay. The rooms, hallways, bar, restaurant and garden were all very well presented and maintained to the highest standards

This is a little hidden gem of a boutique hotel. Around 10 minutes walk from Eton & Riverside station. Super friendly staff, great quality food, and a little garden to its side that is facing out a residential road, but it's perfect for a Windsor stay, to be near all the attractions of what you may wish to see but then escape of an evening from all the crowds Food great value Interior design is luxe and tasteful Bar and dinner staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. They definitely make it feel welcome. Their dinner and breakfast menus certainly provide fresh choices along with English traditional breakfast if you wish.

Nothing, even when the dining bar area was busier, it didn't feel crowded or rowdy .The staff managed both really well, just the 2 of them who were on duty for my overnight stay

Everything! The hotel is quiet, with spacious bedrooms and the decor throughout the hotel is beautiful. I particularly liked the dining room, very stylish. Spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff are amazing, everyone we met was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. All three receptionists we met were lovely and Sarah in the dining room was great. A particular shout out to Ishmael, what a fantastic young man. He kept us entertained in the evenings and his knowledge of music was incredible. A real asset to this hotel. Breakfast were amazing, good choice of food. We had dinner there our first night and it was delicious, thumbs up to the chef We had a problem with the aircon in our room and we were changed to another room within 20 minutes. The location is perfect, right opposite the Long Walk to Windsor castle and a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. We booked a carpark space which I would definitely recommend, spaces are small but not a problem really

Nothing not to like

I called this hotel a week before we stayed as I wanted to book the car park, the lady at reception was wonderfully helpful and told me to call the morning we were travelling and she would make sure there was a space available, this set the whole scene for our stay and from the moment we arrived we had excellent customer service for all of our stay, they upgraded our room and it was nice but I did think for a newly decorated room it was a little dated and they should probably paint the rooms again not just add new beds and curtains ect, the bathroom was beautiful and you could tell that was brand new, the bed was super comfortable and huge just how we like it. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the bar area and restaurant is stunning! The breakfast was incredible and even tho he was working alone serving nothing was too much trouble for the young boy serving breakfast he was very much polite and helpful, the hotel was wonderful and we will definitely be going back again soon.

The rooms could be a bit fresher but bathroom was beautiful
