The room was very well appointed. The bathroom was very good, and one could actually open the windows in the room, a real "plus" frankly. The food was very very good indeed, dinner and the breakfasts. The staff were helpful and friendly. I'd definitely go back,

The distance between the building and its car-park boundary wall is "only-just" wider than one's car which calls for some very careful driving into and out of the car-park. The car park spaces (depending on numbers) can be difficult to get into or out of. If I ran The Lemon Tree I would want to do something about the parking, perhaps park next door in the seemingly empty property, which has parking a-plenty but is not used at all.

Loved my room. It was really well equipped with a kettle, microwave and mini fridge. The bed was so comfy but I did make it down for my breakfast every morning. The food was really good, a lot of choice - the American pancakes were my favourite with maple syrup, bacon and egg. I had a Sunday lunch there too which was superb. They really take care of you at the Lemon Tree and I would love to go back.

The carpark is small but I was lucky to get a spot in the corner and didn't have to use the car for my entire stay as the centre is just a 5 minute walk away.

This is an absolute gem! A restaurant with a bar and rooms. The food was exceptional. I am 65 and whilst I have never eaten in a Michelin starred restaurant, and this is not Michelin starred, both my wife and I thought that the food deserved a star ✨ It was truly amazing in presentation, taste and using locally sourced ingredients. Our room was very pleasant and comfortable and good value.

Wrexham itself is definitely not a tourist town, being somewhat run down and feeling rather depressed. However Chester is only a short drive/train ride away where we spent a super day exploring. The benefit of staying in Wrexham was that the 2 night break cost about 1/2 of what it did had we booked to stay in Chester.

The location was great. The staff were exceptional on arrival and in the restaurant. Always prepared to provide an excellent service and beyond expectation. The choice on the breakfast menu was adaptable to suit every taste- great value for money. The evening menu was good value and the quality of food was outstanding. Particularly appreciated the choice of wines.

Room 1 was very dark and cramped for two adults in a twin room and proved hot and humid. Removed duvets and used empty covers - perfect. Could hear the music from the bar which thankfully finished at 21.30 on our first night however was far later on the second night. Appreciated bottles of water provided. Would like a glass in the bathroom for my toothbrush. Shower was efficient.

Good location, good breakfast, clean room, nice décor.

The paper on my celling above the bed in my room was hanging down and it looked as though it had been for a while, which I reported to the desk just after my arrival. The twin beds were a little rickety and wobbled a great deal also there was no easy chair in the room,(Though There is Plenty of room) so only one person could sit on a dining chair at the desk. I mention these points because I feel that the hotel has aspirations and negative items like these will hold them back.

Very comfortable easy access to town nice breakfast never ate other meals but looked busy so must be okay. Bed very comfortable and bedding good quality. Really friendly staff rooms cleaned daily.

Could do with better light restricting curtains or blackout blinds. Have a small car so could get through access to car park but can see why others mention it. I really don’t know what can be done about this. Maybe more local information or map would be good. We did 3 NT properties within easy reach and could have done more with extra time. Maybe give more information on these?

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff Recently refurbished and new, fresh internal decor Amazing breakfast Tea and coffee making in the room Dog friendly - even gave the dog its own sausages for breakfast Lovely bedding, comfortable bed. Towels provided. Lovely new fittings in the bathroom

The room was quite small and not much room to move around Power sockets on one side of the room only, and one bedside light needed an extension cable just behind the bedhead. A couple of sockets didn't work but management were approachable Parking on site, but a little tight for big cars Really, I'm clutching at straws to suggest improvements

Breakfast was superb, perfectly prepared and cooked. It was great value We had dinner on one evening and that was just as good. It looked appetising and that look was just the start to a great evening meal. Wine cost was very reasonable.

Nothing! There was just a niggle on the tight parking. I understand the building and walls around it are listed and so little can be done. For weekend stays, can the place rent space next door in the unused at weekends Citizens Advice Bureau?

The staff were extremely helpful and informative. We stayed the night prior to a funeral and the gentleman who checked us in, was able to answer all our questions regarding travel time and distance to the crematorium. Relatives joined us for dinner, which was excellent and the set menu was good value.

Service at dinner was quite slow; not an issue for us, but may have been for some. Out room had some damp patches on an outside wall, although it did appear that some restorative work had been attempted.
