Very convenient location, easy to get to. Near the Racecourse Ground! It is set in large, well landscaped grounds, with seating areas. Our room was a good size, nice bathroom and hanging wardrobe space. We ate dinner on one night in the Fusilier Bar, which was very good. I asked for a side salad (not on the menu) and was served one of the best I've ever had. Bed was very comfortable.

It was very warm the day we arrived and I would have liked to open the window. There is a notice asking not to do this when the a/c is on, but in any case the window was locked, so we had to have the a/c on - not so great for the environment and not so pleasant. A tea and coffee making facility is provided, but the kettle was under a low cupboard, meaning it would have been easy to burn yourself from the steam; pretty much only accessible for right-handed people. My left-handed husband found it very difficult.

We booked a double . non-smoking room with breakfast. The room was ready when we arrived at 12, which was a bonus and there was plenty of free parking Very good sized comfy room with a fridge/mini bar with 2 free bottles of water, kettle with a small supply of tea, coffee & a biscuit. Well equipt room,TV, iron, ironing board & a hairdryer & adequate space to hang & store clothes & a suitcase . Good sized bathroom, with a bath with a powerful shower above it, good selection of toiletries & good sized towels. Ice machine & vending machine by the lifts. Staff were very friendly, helpful & efficient Breakfast was very good.There was a full range of cooked & cold items on the buffet. You could also order freshly cooked items from the menu, that were included in our room rate. The porridge was lovely. We also had lunch from the bar, which was very nice & reasonably priced. The hotel is a couple of minutes drive from the centre of Wrexham, less then £5. in a taxi.

Nice spacious, quiet room; lovely comfortable bed, good bathroom and, in particular, having a fridge was very much appreciated. Everything seemed spotlessly clean too. Breakfast was wonderful: with everything imaginable to set us up for the day! All staff that we came into contact with were lovely and friendly and very helpful when needed.

On arrival we had dinner in the bar area which was very good. However, on the second night we chose the restaurant; big mistake! Different kitchen staff, food not very appetising and a long, long wait for it to arrive. Needless to say, we ate back in the bar on two subsequent nights and were well fed.

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The room was really tidy and very accommodating and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were really tasty and had a lot of choice!

The gym and spa were tiny, but served a purpose. The breakfast staff were frazzled and weren't as friendly as other staff encountered. A few items had run out at breakfast so they were busy trying to restock and clean tables.

Property was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spa, sauna and gym are a nice addition to our stay. Rooms are great. Nice cozy and comfortable.

The restaurant and Bar could do with a refurb as it looks a bit dated for 4 star hotel in 2022. The food is also not tasty. Burger was lacking in any flavour, was the size and shape of an oversized meatball that came between two oddly coloured buns. hard to eat and pretty gross. The sandwich’s were better but not by much. A menu overhaul might be what the kitchen needs.

They provided the decaf coffee in the room that I asked for. The room was clean. The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Car park was free. The room was cleaned every day and tea/coffee replaced. There was a fridge in the room. You could set the temperature of the room to our own preference which was great.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We had a cooked breakfast on the first day but didn’t enjoy it as it was quite greasy, especially the hash browns. The other choices were better so we stuck to the continental breakfast the other days we were there. I also found the pillows too hard but my husband didn’t mind that so it’s just personal preference really.

The setup of the connected rooms meant 6 family members could hang out in down-time. Large enough tv for entertainment. Very courteous stead especially Dan the barman. The cleaners were very friendly and courteous too. Plenty of space to move and wash in the wet-room.

Breakfast was far over priced for vegetarians, and the hash browns were the worst we've ever had - tough and inedible. Fried eggs were too runny and scrambled were left out too long from initial cooking. Need option to request to guests how they want their eggs, especially at £13 a head. I would expect fresh pancakes and better fruit salad with that.

For the price, it was an absolute bargain. Felt like a proper 4-5* hotel for £100 a night which is good compared to come place. The bed was comfortable, nice shower facilities with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Nice fluffy white towels and 2 white bath robes.

There could've been a plug socket by the bed, and tv didn't work and they should just get rid of the complimentary sparkling water - have normal instead.

The room was a very good size, was comfortable, clean and well equipped with good storage; the air conditioning was very welcome on the heat. the staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast at first glance looked like a standard hot and cold buffet but cook to order was available and the quality of the food was excellent. the price for bed and breakfast was very good and the location was excellent and easy to find; the stay could only have been improved by the hotel paying me to stay😊

Absolutely nothing

Clean and tidy. Good sized room with everything I needed in a surprisingly quiet location as it is so near to the main Hospital, Ambulance and Fire stations and just off the Wrexham bypass.. Good sized car park at the front of the hotel so no parking issues. Excellent bar and restaurant and good buffet style breakfast.
