Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham Airport Area

Check in was easy. Staff was friendly. We stayed here because they had king size beds and an indoor pool and they get bonus points for the pool being heated! This location is near interstates, gas stations and places to eat. The room was spacious and the hotel was quiet. We also loved they had a variety of breakfast items such as waffles, sausage, cereals, fruit, pastries and yogurt. If you're one of those to complain about a free breakfast then stay home! And people, stop complaining about the cosmetics of your room. You're not sleeping in the bathroom or closet area. And stop complaining theres no hot water when you shower. Take your shower earlier in the morning or right before check out time instead of when everyone else is. It's not the hotel's fault there's no hot water when 100 other people are using the facilities at the same time. I would stay here again if in the area. Thank you Hampton Inn!

The only thing I didn't like was that the pool area had a lot of grime on the edge of the floor near the pool. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Maybe it can't be helped when there's a lot of traffic going to/from the pool but it may need to be maintained more often.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was amazing the gentleman at the door the night we arrived was so helpful and the lady that was preparing breakfast the next morning was delightful and cheery!We will stay here again on our way to the beach!

The coffee makers in the rooms are in the bathroom. There were several other places it could have been. We cleaned our and moved it under the TV and felt better about it. The room was clean and the beds were super comfy!

Despite the room we went to initially was not cleaned up and that the key cards were not working, the staff was super quick in getting us a new room. Thank you to the staff for being awesome and accommodating. .

I understand that everywhere we go to the prices for hotels and such will increase but it would have been a better price for it to be at least under 110 versus 155 plus dollars.

The Hampton was well located for our Birmingham trip. Easy on and off the freeway. Nice tree shaded road behind the property for quiet walks in the morning. I especially liked our suite room selection. It was just a bit more in price, but very spacious for my husband to work from the room during the day. I will book this room again, as I felt it was an excellent value. The staff were friendly and efficient, cleaning staff were responsive to requests, and the breakfast offered had more selections than I expected during these Covid times.

Breakfast was nice and fresh. The attendant was very courteous and helpful. I am looking to move to the area. Staff was very friendly and informative. Did not get inpatient with ALL my questions.

This location is listed to have a level 2 electric charger in premise. They DO NOT! However, the is one next door that is ppen to the public but of course it's risky leaving your vehicle unattended.

Friendly staff very helpfull with directions.Breakfast was as good as it gets,serving at 6:00 am.Rooms were clean and quiet.Dianne ,the manager was a good host.We were there three days for the Barber vintage motorcycle show,and the hotel was sold out!The night manager made a couple of pots of coffee for us at 2:30 am before we hit the road.I will be back next year at the Hamton inn Irondale!

Could use a big sign out front to make it easy to find.

What I like about the property was that it was clean and centrally located around what I needed to get to. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was exceptional, friendly and very helpful. I really liked them.

I didn’t care for the breakfast. The eggs were runny. The cereal taste like it was old.

The pool is great. Front desk and cleaning staff are attentive and friendly.

The breakfast and coffee counter tended to run out of things, e.g. yogurt at breakfast; black tea at coffee counter. Staff were not keeping track.

I love everything about this location. The pool and gym are open late and always super clean. The breakfast is wonderful and offer a wide variety of stuff to tantalize the taste buds.

There is not anything I didn't like I enjoyed every aspect of my stay!

Very clean facility with wonderful stuff, showed up 2 hours early for check in and they gave us a room. They asked if we had ate yet and gave us a list of local restaurants divided by taste categories. Clean room, well stocked, great shower good water pressure. Clean heated pool. Buffet breakfast was the best the whole vacation, omelettes, sausage, frittatas, waffles, muffins, bagels, cereal etc. Would definitely stay here again.
