The house itself is cozy and inviting. The room envelopes you and makes you feel at home. The bed….i wanted to take it home with me. The kitchen is well stocked. The owner is a riot who will have you in tears. She’s easy to talk to and be around. Her dog is sweet and cute. The location of the house is in a safe neighborhood and is tucked away.

I loved everything.

The host lady, Kathleen, is a kind person with big personality. This tall and pretty New Yorker embarked on the adventure of her life 50 years ago and hence dedicated her youth and heart to this land and its people. She gained and lost, but never was she afraid to love and trust and she still is. She put herself out there and becomes a part of the Alaskan history. She is lively and talkative and she shared a lot with me about this land and its people. She is very truthful and could be a little salty sometime and that make her the most lovable. And she is very nice and hospitable, a lot of things can prove during my short stay and i ma share 2: 1. I didnt check my message in booking and didnt see her message prior to my arrival. I didnt give her my check in time. But when I called her, she drove back from the her birthday celebration party immediately to check me in. 2. at my checkout day, I need to catch the early train in morning so we agreed on I leaving the key at room without waking her up cuz she is used to wake up late. But my rental car's battery died that morning and due to lack of experience, I didnt know how to handle that. She got up after hearing my noise and went out helping me in that -10 F weather and eventually helped me got on train in time. Besides that, this place is very cozy and is of best location(close to every where). All kinds of drinks are offered for free. Lola the cute western terrier is very smart and loves to play with me. All in all, in my opinion, it takes a big heart to welcome strangers to your home and live with you. And thats what she is.

The location was great. The host was very accommodating and helpful. And the dog was very friendly. Also there are several options for accommodations at this bed and breakfast they have a full basement apartment, RV, a little shed that's been made into a small apartment and a guest room, where I stayed.

The bed had feather pillows which I'm allergic to and was too soft. I needed a more firm bed for my back, but for one night it was okay. Also the host has a bit of a potty mouth, it didn't bother me, but it might be an issue for other people .

Loved it all! Kathleen and Lola were very welcoming and I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Kathleen is an excellent hostess and made the best omlette one morning (offered sourdough pancakes and other breakfast items on other days but I had plans to go out for breakfast). Very much loved the conversations with this beautiful soul Kathleen!

My daughter and I stayed in the attached 1 bedroom apartment and it was wonderful! Beds were so comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Internet was strong. It was great having access to a full kitchen and (while I did not use it) a washer and dryer. Host was wonderful - on the night we arrived, she brought us some halibut she had just caught. Delicious!

Kathleen is a great host! This is a convenient location for everything I needed to do during my visit. I stayed in the caravan & lower level room, both felt inviting & comfortable. My cat was truly welcomed & it meant a lot to me. It’s always hard to find a pet friendly B & B or hotel - this was the perfect place for both of us!

Wish I could’ve stayed longer, I loved it here!😁

The location was very close to the Airport and easy to find. Breakfast was help yourself and she had a lot of choices from Costco. This worked for me since I was on the way out so could heat up a breakfast sandwich and take it with me. The house was older but cozy and everything was neat and clean.

Not a criticism but I didn't realize it was more of a room in a house instead of a dedicated B&B. I stayed in a room next to the owner, so if you don't mind that, it's a great find. There are some more private rooms like a small cottage. My flight was delayed and felt bad waking her up but she was very gracious.

I liked the roominess of the unit with our own private entry and a fenced in yard which would have been handy if we brought the pup. The location was quiet and the room was clean. There was good communication with the owner from the moment we reserved until after we left.

All was good.

This little place is so cute! From the time I drove in the driveway until I left, it felt like home. Kathleen is a great hostess!! She had the apartment stocked with food and snacks. The neighborhood is very quiet and comfortable. It is centrally located and very easy to get to. I will definitely stay there again! Thank you Kathleen!!
