No plant based options for hot breakfast. Microwave available during breakfast for those of us bringing our own plant based breakfast who want to join our non vegan family for breakfast. I was told I had to microwave before coming down. My mom loved the breakfast, but was disappointed when there were no potatoes on day 2, and instead some unappetizing French toast. The waffle already provides a bread like carb. No potatoes also eliminated a plant based option for me. The bed was a little hard. The thermostat was a little tricky to get right and the air blew hard on the people sleeping closest to the window.

Breakfast, pool and walking distance

Checking in a little slow but understandable when staffing any positions these days are difficult. I was SO HAPPY I had prebooked with Booking.com Only suggestion is that upon checking in (using Booking.com) staff said negative comments. I reminded them that booking.com has works for us 100% of the time. All I suggest is NEVER say negative comments about Booking.com to guests who LOVE it. I truly believe if this hotel has a challenge with any 3rd party sites the staff must need more training on their own systems. THANK YOU BOOKING!

The property itself was beautiful and clean. It looked very new and updated. Breakfast was standard and tasted good.

Our air conditioner made a loud knocking sound when we turned it on, but we hoped it was just warming up. It was late and we were exhausted so we let it be even though the knocking was still obnoxiously loud when we tried to sleep. About 1 hour after turning it on, it did stop, but then as we were just about asleep, it started again only 1000 times louder. I seriously thought the unit might explode. We turned off the air and slept without A/C for the night. Could be a one off, but I also found the pillows pretty uncomfortable. I’m 7 months pregnant so needed more support, but even with 6 pillows, I couldn’t find comfort. I really wanted to like the property, but those two things made it a tough night.

Great location which is easy to walk to historic downtown. This is a newer property and we found the beds to be very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the hot selection changed daily.

The hotel is on a tiny piece of land which makes the parking lot very cramped. Also, a property this size should have more than one elevator. This place has one elevator and it’s very slow. Every time we rode the elevator there were negative comments from other guests about the one and only elevator.

Great location. Nice clean hotel and spacious room. Overall comfortable and the breakfast was the regular hotel chain included breakfast. My husband really liked the crispy bacon. Very close to the observatory. Had covered parking available.

There was only one washer and one dryer in the guest laundry so my husband had anxious people waiting who moved his laundry to the dryer the minute it was done & pulled it from the dryer as soon as they felt it was dry enough. The exercise room was small and I was unable to use the equipment I wanted.

This place was great, and I don't usually say that! My husband usually doesn't get to enjoy breakfasts at hotels, which are usually caffeine and gluten. There were many delicious and healthy options for him and he was elated. The people at the front desk were INCREDIBLY nice and friendly and helpful...the woman in the breakfast area each morning was also awesome.

The ONLY thing that I did not like was that there were no towel bars in the bathroom. Maid service only happens after three days (which I do not have a problem with at all) but then PLEASE give us somewhere to hang our wet towels after a shower. We are only a family of two and we had no place to hang our towels - I can't imagine a larger family trying to figure out where to put 4 wet towels after showers...please, just put in towel bars and you'd get a perfect rating!

I loved the location of the hotel. It was walking distance to restaurants and entertainment spots. I also appreciated how the staff recognized it was my graduation night, and they gifted me a bottle of wine and a bag of goodies to congratulate me. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. Parking was also convenient.

I didn't like how the refrigerator in my room took a good 8 hours to become cold. It's definitely something to keep in mind for next time.

Location was great! Within walking distance to the south side neighborhood and restaurants, and even to the main downtown area if you’re comfortable with a longer walk. Parking area was small, but we never had any issues finding a spot. Breakfast was great- different hot options every day as well as the standard continental fare. Pool area was clean and perfect for our use. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our keycard on our second day, and they fixed it very quickly with a brief explanation of what went wrong for our understanding.

I wish housekeeping would have been available slightly more often. We stayed for 3 nights and they let us know housekeeping was available every third day, which meant we did not have any refreshed items during our stay. Of course, we could have asked for new towels, etc. which was totally fine, but it was difficult finding where to dispose of our trash when the very small bins in the room inevitably got full when traveling with family/young kids and all their snacks and accessories (diapers, wipes, snack wrappers, etc.), and just to be able to have a little additional assistance in that area would have been great.

Nice, clean, and comfortable hotel. Very helpful staff and walking distance to the train station and to town. Good breakfast and nice eating area. Large rooms and nice beds. Appreciated that they had staff at the desk available 24 hours and that they were quick to answer questions quickly via email about specific situations. Room was quiet and didn't hear any noise from outside or other rooms.

Rooms didn't necessarily have the best views, simply due to the location and pillows were not as nice as I would expect for that type of hotel, but real issues for a weary traveler. While there on a Holiday weekend, they chose to have construction in the pool and parking areas that I believe could have been delayed until the next week when there would possibly been less guest to experience the inconvenience.

I liked the cleanliness and all the great hospitality they provided.

They had a tv network, and there was barely anything available. Esp Cartoon Network. I got upset over that one specific detail. Great, they’re clean… but no channels available? I was upset over that. What’s the use of providing a TV when you have only a few channels out of about a thousand channels. I’ve paid less in bad rooms with better tv.
