We were only at the Double Tree Flagstaff for one night, on our trip back to Phoenix. It was a beautiful facility, and all of the staff we encountered were extra accommodating, including the front desk personnel (we spoke with several during our stay) and the staff at the Woodlands Cafe (we had both dinner and breakfast) were wonderful. Really was too short. We wish we had stayed longer.

proximity to highway and restaurants

As someone who has allergies, it was uncomfortable and unexpected to have a hotel that allows pets in all rooms so readily. This is clearly a pet-friendly hotel which is wonderful. It would be nice to be a guest of the hotel without having to listen to barking dogs or have pet dander in the room if you are traveling without dogs however. Maybe a designated floor for pets would be advisable.

We stayed there twice and both times the rooms had a heavy smell of cleaning agents. One room was unbearable. Also the second time we stayed the room had a broken air conditiong fan and the noise was intolerable. fortunatley wse were able to change rooms.

Our room was actually a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment! It was so spacious! Had a wonderful, large patio that was so inviting. The kitchen was equipped with everything one would need. The resort exceeded our expectations. There are so many activities offered and the grounds are beautiful and immaculate.

What we did not like was that the room was not available by the 4:00 pm check-in time. It was an irritation not to be able to check in early and having to wait until 4:45. We also were dismayed to be informed that check-out was 10:00 am. So early! With a late check-in and an early check-out, we were not able to enjoy what the resort has to offer. Very disappointing.

the hotel is gorgeous! The staff were all very friendly and professional. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. We were delighted to find that the complimentary breakfast was not a buffet type but we could choose any entree off the restaurant menu! The food was fabulous and the wait staff were some of the best we’ve ever had.

Great location. Clean and comfortable.

I made the reservation with breakfast (reserved a more expensive room because of the breakfast) but at the time of the check in, I was informed my reservation was without breakfast.

The location was nice and had easy parking, the lobby was very well furnished and the hotel room were very clean and comfy.

We unfortunately had a room view that was looking right at a wall which was unfortunately because the weather was beautiful.

Breakfast was very good. The location was great for getting both to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The staff was so friendly. We felt really welcomed.

Room was a little small and if you are staying more than one day, they don't make the bed.

we thought we booked a room with breakfast on Booking.com. The hotel said they have this problem often an that we would have to take it up with Booking.com. We didn’t have time to deal with this so gave up and skipped breakfast.

The property was great. The interaction with booking.com was not. When we went to check in the reservation had not been forwarded to Double Tree and it took over .an hour to check in.
