We originally had 2 rooms at the super 8 by Wyndham in phoenix but as soon as we opened up the rooms and there were roaches. Immediately booked our rooms over at the Howard johnson by Wyndham in flagstaff and yes we got there super late but we were still greeted with a smile and after driving 8 hrs from California it was greatly appreciated!!

There was nothing we didn’t like

Everything was clean and nice looking. Breakfast was included, and it was a nice break from driving.

The shower head is pretty low if you're tall. You need to duck down to get your head wet. Meanwhile the beds are extra tall. We missed the fine print in the listing that there's an extra $10 charge once we got there. Making it more expensive than we were expecting.

The room was super clean and comfortable. It is located in a very central location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The front desk rep was extremely kind and accommodating. She even upgraded our room at no extra cost!

Property is a little run down on the exterior and could use some updating.

Clean, beds were great and the pillow set up was awesome! One of the better places we've stayed in. Loved the shower. Love that it was dog friendly too. Will use again!

Beds were too high off the ground, could not just sit on bed, had to jump up to get on. Not enough towels.

The family suite was a really good deal. The three beds with the one being in a separate room is smart. There was even a second TV in that room and a microwave and fridge in the main room. Excellent accommodations for the price.

Breakfast wasn't available due to lack of staff. Flagstaff is beautiful but there's a bunch of woke liberals that don't want to work so hopefully others will come around and fill the positions.

The proximity to restaurants and shops.

The rooms lacked sheer curtains, so we had to choose between keeping the curtains closed or open to let in light, but that meant people passing by could see into our room. The exterior could use some fresh paint with lively colors.

The morning staff and evening staff where both very accommodating and friendly!! The morning staff was so polite that he made our pancakes for us and it was just all around very pleasant experience.

Great location to where we were going, staff very happy and helpful, they are not doing any breakfast they said because they are still following the COVID safety? Not sure why, but there is a Diner in walking distance that was great. Room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very squeaky door leading to small bed, but that's not a bad thing. Had to jiggle the toilet chain because it was running one night, but again not a bad thing to happen. We LOVED the little patio seating where we sat out visitng and enjoying the cool weather.

The location of the hotel is great for the town centre. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was in good working order. We really appreciated the laundry facilities as we have been on the road for a few days.

The room was on the small side and no actual table.

Property was clean and the front desk person was so friendly, he may have been the manager.

My only suggestion is to increase electrical outlets or provide options so you can plug in your devices. There were very few options.
