Econo Lodge Flagstaff Route 66

This location is so close to everything! We were so surprised how quickly we reached our favorite places of interest. The value is amazing too. This is the first time we've stayed here so I was a bit worried because it was so inexpensive but it was a great experience. And breakfast was included. That's probably the neatest, most organized breakfast we've been to. You could tell the attendants really cared about the availability of food and presentation. Check in and out was easy too, and they were all so friendly. We were very impressed with our experience.

I can't think of anything to improve excerpt maybe the fact that it was a bit older but the pros definitly outweigh that one con.

Breakfast was nice, staff was nice. Very accessible by car. Clean and well maintained. Wifi did work and AC was effective. Mini fridge was provided and empty which is a big plus.

I would appreciate better wifi coverage (room 229). AC unit was in perfectly find condition, but it seems to be designed to be fully on or off. A different AC unit that is able to run at lower but constant speeds would be a more pleasant experience.

Loved the location and the room was very comfortable and quiet, very accommodating staff. The shower and vanity were super nice, as well. The room also came with a microwave and a mini fridge. I would stay again!

The coffee pot and hair dryer were broken but the front desk was very glad I told them so they can replace both. I was able to get breakfast and coffee in the lobby, though, so that was good. Although, I would've loved to have gotten some eggs, bacon, or sausage for the complimentary breakfast. Not the best type of breakfast but it was still enjoyable.

Facilities included laundry, vending machines, free breakfast in mornings. 24/7 staff in office. Room was very clean and spacious, modern bathroom. Staff allowed me to drop my bags off earlier than check in time (5 or so hours), free of charge and then come back at check in.

Fridge wasn't working inside the room, therefore I couldn't keep any of my drinks of food cold. I went to the drink vending machine and noticed that there was no water in there, after it had already taken my money. There was no light or sign on the machine stating there was no water. Exact money taken, so I had to buy a coca cola at 8am in the morning.

We were on a cross country trip. Econo Lodges got some bad reviews on some of the facebook groups I belong to regarding relocating out of California. When we pulled into the parking lot I was a little worried. But the front desk person was very polite and helpful. The man that was cleaning up the parking lot was helpful and friendly. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable for a one night stay. We had a lot of stuff in our cars and trunks because we are relocating. It was so helpful that we could park right in front of our room, not only for unloading purposes but also to keep an eye on our cars. Breakfast was "continental" but there was enough choices that we didn't need to eat again until lunch. Not sure about other EconoLodge locations, but this one is clean and perfect if you are traveling across country.

the location is just perfect, I guess you're doing renovations,big dumpster on facility,first night came back from William and parking lot full had to park our big truck by office and also Saturday night , maybe more parking space but for sure the dumpster took space

The staff was what set this place apart from other inns we have been to in the past. They were very professional and friendly. They made sure we got a Pack 'n Play for our toddler and listened kindly to my talkative 5 year old when we came in for breakfast. We also liked that the air conditioner had the ability to constantly keep the fan blowing regardless of temperature that you set.

The microwave was way too low to the ground and my toddler turned it on when my back was turned by hitting one of the express buttons. She's usually not a problematic child that way. Paint/wall paper was peeling in the breakfast room in places and made the area around windows look dirty.

They had renovated the rooms, which was great! Pet friendly, & really nice staff. Appreciated guests following ‘quiet time’ especially with pets!

Only downside is not stating the cost for pets up front on website while booking. Found price from searching stating $15 per pet, per night, but was $25. We appreciate pet friendly, but need to know cost up front.

The breakfast was OK. There was coffee, juice, yogurt, muffins, fruit cups, and breakfast bars. The front Dess was awesome and they answered all questions professionally. I love the location because it was route 66. You could hear the train go bye but it was not overwhelming with sound. Overall this day was very nice

The day of checkout I was loading my car up. And decided to run to the store (Fry’s) to get a few more snacks for the kids. But when we got back from the store they had already stripped my room and the door was open. I went to the front office and they said maybe the housekeeping saw me packing the car and thought I had left. But they should’ve made sure because I had chips and everything in there which was gone and I had to sit in my car for an hour until everybody met up at 11 AM. That was a bummer I still have time to take a shower, But was not able to.

The breakfast, needed improvement. The muffins were not very good, they were hard, yet the choice was excellent, everyday!!

My bathroom was not very clean, there were under wear left in the room from a previous guest
