Holiday Inn Express Flagstaff, an IHG Hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful; room was very clean; breakfast was good and food replenished on a regular basis.

The $5 per day parking fee seems excessive. When I asked the front desk why, they mentioned they get people/cars using their lot but not staying at the hotel. This could be remedied by giving all hotel guests a free sticker for their car at check-in, and putting up signs that cars will be towed if they do not have a sticker. Also, the trains behind the hotel go by day and night. If you're a very light sleeper, this can be very annoying.

Manager was very friendly and went around to every table at breakfast and offered suggestions on travel etc. Breakfast spread was also very nice - much better than similar offerings from other hotels

Hotel is being renovated so there was a lot of mess lying around and hard to get parking due to construction material lying around

Location was difficult. Not directly on main street, so hard to get in and out by car. Also.insufficient parking.

Oops. See above for dislikes. I did like the quiet, the staff, the breakfast was OK, the room and breakfast area were very clean.

I wasn't given my Hotel stay receipt when I was checking out. Found out later the receptionist only gave me my purchase order. but called back and finally got it.

Good breakfast but please stop putting out half cooked bacon. I don't know why people want rubber bacon

Moving my dad across the country. Our first stop was the Flagstaff facility. The staff, facility, and the room were all fantastic.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

I liked the quiet updated rooms and bathrooms. The body soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was was delicious and very welcoming. I will stay here again if working in the area again.

This was not a pet friendly hotel which I did not realize until I arrived at 11:30 at night after an excruciating day on the road. When I explained I had my cat with me the staff was kind enough to allow me to bring him in since we would be leaving early in the morning. I was very appreciative as I didn't realize all Holiday Inn Express hotels were not the same. I stayed in 3 of their hotels on this trip and all of the others allowed pets. It could have been an awful experience but it wasn't due to the flexibility and customer service of the staff. Thank you!

The front counter clerk, a lovely lady with a bun in her hair, was incredibly helpful.

The cost was high but I realize profits must be made during times like NAU's Family weekend.

Front hotel staff were unable to locate my reservation. I had to show them my email confirmation from booking.com otherwise I probably would not have gotten a room. Instead of getting the king bed room I reserved. I got a queen bed handicap accessible room instead. I accepted it since it was getting late already.
