The remodel was nice with wood flooring and new furniture but they completely ignored the bathroom. The door was so warped we couldn’t close it, linoleum was lifting, toilet rocked (scared you to sit down lol), and just looked dirty. Not saying it was because you could smell that it had been cleaned but it just looked dirty. Old caulking maybe, holding on to all the dirt I guess. Overall though, good room for one night stay. :)

The bathroom needs some TLC. Toilet rocked when using it, dirty bathroom/caulking but other then that things were good for the money we paid. I have nothing else to say in this area but they make me keep making me writing to finish the review. Lol

This is very clean motel 10 min away by car from the center of Flagstaff. We stay there 2 nights for Grand Canyon visiting (1,5 hours driving). Personally I like everything. This hotel is designed for short stay for travelers and the room has: comfortable bed, microwave, fridge, bathroom. Parking is just under your door. Good place to stay and have rest after long day. Staff is so friendly and nice. Very fast check in. Big super market is close by. Gas station is just a min away.

The hotel is located near the road and train railway. At night it’s difficult to leave window opened. But the temperature in the room was comfortable, so we don’t have to open the window. Kettle will be great in the room and 2 cups. Complimentary coffee in the morning is without coffee taste:).

The room was recently renovated, clean and ready to go. The check in was quick and easy. We were able to pull our car right up to our door for easy unloading. There was also a grocery store next door so it was easy to grab something for breakfast and grab supplies on our way to the next stop on our trip.

The shower curtain was a little short and there was water that made its way onto the floor. Also, we were trying to go over to Sedona but got stuck in a lot of traffic trying to get there. It takes a little bit of time from the interstate to get to the hotel and making a left turn out of the property would be difficult. No Breakfast.

Very comfortable small room & queen bed, worked great for me solo. Think European small. Good sized fridge, micro with a desk & only one chair in room. Lighting was ample and i liked the switch & outlet by bed & bedside table. Good shower.

Train is across street, amd they are frequent. But tracks must be well maintained as they are not creaky, and I heard absolutely NO train horns. With air unit set on fan for background white noise, i was able to sleep fine. But this is true for the whole row of hotels along this street. Nothing any of them can do about it.

nice staff, parking right at room door, good tv, comfortable bedding, great lighting in bathroom and vanity area. Although it’s an older “Route 66” era motel, it’s been updated inside and looks nice from the outside. It sits next to main railroad tracks and liked the sound of trains passing by — actually very nostalgic and soothing.

I stayed two nights. When I returned to enter my room for the second night my card key wouldn’t work and I had to go to the office to have it reactivated.

Although it was located close to road, it was silent at night. We didn’t hear any noise or cars. The place was better than we expected after seeing the photos and taking into account the price. Bed was comfortable, it was clean and there were no bedbugs. The checkin was quick, Wi-Fi worked well, there was a big TV and a fridge and everything was fine. It is great for one night or more.

The air conditioning was a bit loud, but maybe we could have chosen another mode.

I was surprised by the modern, luxurious decoration of the room. At the reception, there was complimentary coffee and the receptionist offered me the possibility to store my baggage at the reception after checkout,, so that I was able to go out t and enjoy Flagstaff. The motel is conveniently located on Route 66, there is a shopping mall around the corner, and it is a 15 -20-minute walk to downtown Flagstaff.

The Relax Inn seems to be a recently remodeled, old school Motor Court, where you pull right up to your door. I forgot how convienient that is. The room, while small, was cleaner, nicer and more modern than I expected. The manager was friendly, helpful, and always had a smile. I was passing through Flagstaff, and the Relax Inn was the perfect stop. They will be my regular stayover location from now on. I Nice place. Great people. GREAT VALUE.

The room was exceptionally clean. It felt like we were staying in a brand new room. Bed was very comfortable too and everything was far better than what I initially expected.

Only minor suggestion would be the pillows. We only got two pillows (for two people) and two of these pillows per person would have been perfect. I didn't request additional pillows, but maybe that's something you could do.

The room and grounds were very clean and neat. Bed was comfortable. The room was equipped with the usual amenities, and everything worked and was clean. It was easy to drive to the Grand Canyon, and to explore the charming town of Flagstaff.

The room was a bit small. The Hotel is right on Route 66, and the BNSF trains are fairly noisy. Every hotel on Route 66 will have that issue.
