I thought the hotel was very nice clean, comfortable with good facilities The staff were friendly and really helpful Will definitely stay again. Not the best area in town but everything else was well above what I expected

We traveled to the area for Graduation events. Sonesta Simply Suites Phoenix Tempe was able to accommodate a [surprise-to-us] guest when a military family member was able to take some leave and join us for the celebrations. The hotel changed our room, so we could all be together. The hotel also provided a lot of services, including free use of the washers and dryers, kitchenette, and availability of a small store with "relatively inexpensive" items. We took advantage of the outdoor grill and had a cookout one afternoon.

The only thing that could have been improved in our room was the cleanliness. We found previous guests' towel, sports bra, and other articles in the bottom drawers of the bathroom vanity.

Nice size room. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. (Kettle was the only missing - had to boil water in a pot, so easy solution). Location was central. Cozy queen bed. Clean.

Had to pay for parking. My teenage son slept on sofa bed and he found it comfy enough. It might not be for everyone though. Air conditioner is near the sofa bed too, so sofa bed might not work for light sleepers.

From the moment I entered the building, the staff was polite, courteous, and friendly. I believe it was Theresa who was at the front counter during my check-in. She was very polite about explaining the amenities that were available or not available at the time. The room was very nice and supplied, which included dishes, silverware, and cookware. The room was a home away from home. What I rather enjoyed most was the store on site to purchase food, snacks, or miscellaneous items. I will definitely come back here next time I go to Phoenix.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful with all of our needs. Room and all of the facility was very clean. Had 2 grills out by the pool for the guest to use.

Toilet in our room kept running, but not loud enough for us to hear outside of the bathroom. A couple of the lights were not working. Upon check-out I brought this to there attention and they thanked me for that and put in a work order for maintenance to repair.

The front desk Mgr honored my husband and I reserveration that was canceled by prior shift front desk clerk due to arriving after check in hours even though I called several times while on the road driving from S.F. He was very understanding, extended an apology and made good on my reservations.

I was unhappy about the communication that was not properly handled for the next shift person on duty inspite of telling me she would make it was noted on my reservation and she stated she also wrote a note for him. I did my due diligence when making the reservation to notify staff and called 2x while on an 11/hr drive road trip. That could have been extremely disastrous for us, if there weren't any rooms left to put us in. But the PM shift rep/Mgr saved the day. Thank you again. We will stay here again. Please please endorse pertinent information to each other as I would not want another guest to experience that again. 💯👍🏼

Great room- nice reclining chair! Fridge, Micro, Coffeemaker. It also had a cooktop and dishwasher. However, I did not use these. Large bathroom, Super comfy bed.

No cons. Great stay! Sonesta hit a home run for a spring training hotel.

It was very quiet. You couldn't hear anything in the rooms beside you. The staff was awesome and helpful. The kitchen helped out a lot. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the TV had a variety of channels and the bathroom was bigger than most and the water was hot!

Breakfast buffet would be nice. More comfortable pillows. The elevator and main hallway on the first floor needed consistent cleaning. Other than that everything was great.

It was a nice place, and location. The staff was friendly, and very helpful. Love that it was pet friendly. Had some good conversations with other pet owners. The dish washer looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and a ice maker should be put in. It take at least 8 hours to make ice in the fridge.
