Cozy cactus' location, wildlife and staff were exceptional. It's the place to stay if you want comfort, friendliness, amazing nature and stunning views on your doorstep. The property is also within a short driving distance of Sedona's superb Mexican restaurants like "Elote" as well as all the excellent vistas Sedona has to offer. It's also possible to drive further afield to visit Taliesin West in a day if you feel the urge to see some Frank Lloyd Wright.

I can't think of anything, the place is stunning. The friendliness, property and location are far superior than any chain hotel could equal. Big thanks to the staff for sorting out veggie breakfast.

We loved this B & B. The host and manager were fantastic! The views could not be beat. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and delicious snacks. About two weeks prior to arrival, Elaine, the manager called and let us know that the breakfast had changed slightly. They would still offer coffee and juice and homemade muffins in the common room but were giving us a voucher for eating breakfast lunch or toward dinner to Colt's Grill across the street. Wonderful breakfast there and was within walking distance. We definitely will be back and sharing this with other family members!

We liked pretty much everything about Cozy Cactus. We stayed in Sedona Sky which a two bedroom unit for four nights over Christmas weekend. Everything in it was very well thought out and of good quality. Beds are king size and comfortable, shower is great with lots of hot water, toiletries and towels luxurious, there are ponchos for wearing on cold nights, a book of Sedona hikes, a flashlight, you name it. There are tons of books and games to chose from and we just loved the decorations. Breakfast was delicious with different kind of muffins every day. It was awesome having hiking trails right outside the backyard. Fire pit was very nice too. Mark and Heather are great and very easy to deal with. My questions were always answered promptly and they are very helpful with everything you might need.

The only downside was the lack of stove for cooking. There is a microwave and a toaster oven but I was counting on having a stove. It is possible to use the stove in Mark's kitchen, but still it would have been better to have one in the unit.

Truly the best place you can stay in Sedona. After having to cancel my trip up to the grand canyon due to snow, Heather and Mark were able to modify my accommodations so I could get there a night early AND upgraded me to this sweet vortex suite. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during a snowstorm - large, comfy bed, a couch, tv, kitchenette. Heather was a gem and offered to go out and get food for us since she had 4WD. Even with the snow, I was able to walk right out the back and on to some hiking trails. A+ breakfast, fantastic other guests, great location in Oak Creek. A truly memorable stay and can't wait to stay here again! Thanks so much!

Right there in the red rocks and nothing but nature between you and the big rocks. Looking directly at Bell Rock without civilization between. Fire pits on back patio to enjoy the changing light of day as day turned to night. Trails right off the back patio. Easy walking access to Big Rocks nearby. Full breakfast was great. The muffins are incredibly good. They will be becoming an event venue soon. Good place for family gatherings and small events.

Would have preferred full breakfast everyday with option for continental style breakfast if desired

The location was perfect for us. Within walking distance of three or four restaurants. The dining area looked out on a beautiful view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. The breakfast was good but not great. Continental on first day with fruit, granola, yogurt and muffins and then an egg casserole on the second day with fruit etc.

The kitchen is not separated from the dining area and the owner was having a minor disagreement with staff that was awkward to listen to on our first morning.

Jack the owner, oops .. sorry Mark is a very hospitable individual who will get out of his way to make everything smooth and perfect. The place is exactly what its name says, nothing more , nothing less. The view of the Bell Rock from the property is breathtaking. It's like you are really there. Amazing! See photos! There is easy access to some of the hiking trails from the back of the property. The breakfast although limited due to the pandemic is healthy and energizing. We had a wonderful time here. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone without reservation. You won't regret it. Big thank you to Mark and the wonderful people who work with him. See you next time!

Marc the host of The Cozy Cactus was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived he was welcoming. During our stay I asked him for directions to Cathedral Rock and he took the time to draw us a map to a spot where the parking was easy and not full of tourist. He even had things to use on our hike, like binoculars, backpacks and water bottles. The rooms were much more than I expected and the outdoor space was breathtaking. The Cozy Cactus sits right on the trails leading to Bell Rock. You do not even have to leave the B & B to enjoy the views and hiking. The coffee, homemade muffins and parfaits were a perfect start to each morning. I would highly recommend staying at The Cozy Cactus when visiting Sedona, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing location, homey and fabulous Sedona decorated establishment with wonderful wildlife right in the backyard. The Vortex room had the best view of the mountains, comfy bed, thoughtful amenities, and was quiet. The hosts were just considerate, funny, and hospitable. I appreciate them so so much. Delicious breakfast!!! Scrumptious sangria. ;)

I got bit by mosquitos - but that is to be expected when surrounded by nature - especially during a rainy weekend. It wasnt too bad though - not inundated at all.

Cozy cactus exceeded our expectations from the room to the views the owners were so welcoming and friendly they made you feel at home. The room came equipped with maps for hiking and a book with different trails they also provided a parking permit to be able to park at different trails throughout Sedona. We can’t wait to come back 😊
