Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The front desk attendant was very polite and helpful and sweet both during check in and check out, even gave us complimentary cookies and water, and was very pleasant conversation wise.

The pool wasn't heated like we were told, there weren't many options for the breakfast and frankly the attendant made it not worth even having the breakfast as she was rude and off-putting. There were also some questionable spots/stains in the walls and the underside of the lamps in the room.

Staff were super friendly, good location

The grounds were covered in burrs. We constantly tracked them in on our shoes, but tried to keep them picked up. Despite this, they were imbedded into the carpet. Each of us stepped on them barefoot, causing bloody punctures. My service dog had one stuck in his foot between his toes, which later caused an infection (and a week off working) even though I checked his feet before we went back into our room. Some landscaping to get rid of that would be recommended. Other than that, we had a great experience.

The front desk lady was very gracious and friendly. We felt truly welcomed. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. I used the shampoo and soap provided, and they were excellent. I liked the way the door would stay open while I carried in the luggage. The air conditioning was efficeient and quiet. The swimming pool was very clean and inviting. There is an excellent Italian restaurant and a Mexican one. Too, just across the highway from the hotel.

The location is a perfect place to tour Sedona, it’s close enough but not in the middle of a very crowded main Sedona. It’s quiet and close to hiking and golf. The staff were friendly and the breakfast, while basic, was substantial. It’s within walking distance of Colt Grill Sedona, an excellent place for dinner and draft beers.

The bathtub needed to be scrubbed, it looked dingy.

We had an awesome view of the Rock formations. This is the reason why we selected this Hotel.

We had the awesome view of the Rock formations for the last time because pet owners will now be placed on the poolside. Hotel got cheaper during the time we stayed, we overpaid because we booked early, or because we used a 3rd party.

The employees sooo comforting and welcoming after a long wedding no wait at all!!!! Breakfast waitress was sooo hospitable and caring! We enjoyed breakfast mostly because of her...and when I arrived was greeted with a smile what a gift for such a long trip ending!!! Thank you

Nothing I cleaned dog pee off of baseboard no big deal but easy to do with just water and cloth... Just saying tho in case anyone complains thought no pet policy tho.. . So I am not sure whose pee it was...lol

The staff definitely makes this place! They had a free continental breakfast and the service was superior. Every staff member always had a smile on their face and were willing to help you out. A special shout-out to Val though! We were there early for check in and she let us in the pool area to cool off while we waited! She was amazing!! I honestly booked it because it was one of the cheaper options that was closer to Sedona, but the value is amazing!

A couple of the new towels we got were dirty or had marks on them, but we just asked for new ones.

The Breakfast were served to you with a smile. So glad they keep the clean served service so no one or kids make a mess or gems. No too big of a breakfast but meant off our needs..

That most people complain on this website about the ratings that are just not true. We came from Wisconsin and were very happy with the location and staff. they were honest and very friendly.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was sufficient (oatmeal, cereal, waffles, eggs, yogurt). Bed was comfortable. Location was great with restaurants and a little grocery store in walking distance plus close to trailheads. We like that Village of Oak Creek is not as busy and congested as Sedona proper.

WiFi was a little slow. Walls and floors are thin (as with almost any hotel) so we did hear some neighbor noise from time to time (pro trip - download a white noise app on your phone!). Price seemed a little high given it was during the week and a very basic accommodation but the Sedona area is quite popular so I guess it's to be expected!

The staff were incredibly friendly and they provided us great recommendations on food locations. The area was quiet and the rooms had everything we needed to have a nice vacation.

The only thing didn't like was that the bathroom didn't have fans - But that might be a standard in all hotels.
