Location, history, park next to hotel having everything(restaurant, bar, spa, gift shop) at the hotel. No need to leave unless you want to.

No longer having the door placers for room clean or not to disturb. I know I am old fashioned, but we were constantly having to get toilet paper-finally just bought some at the dollar store. The first night my grandson got sick and vomited in the bed and when we called down for clean up -or even bedding so we could change the linens we were told they did full room cleaning on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This was Sunday evening. Cleaned it the best we could, laid down towels to sleep on. Found maid the next day and got a set of clean linens and changed them ourselves. Not complaining about changing out the linens, but the lack of service.

We didn't do our research. The hotel parking lot is down the road, and you either have to hike to the hotel or wait for a shuttle. The other thing is the city is built on a cliff more or less, so it is basically a walking city or at least downtown Eureka Springs is. The city is amazing and very interesting. If your fleet of foot there is hundreds of shops to visit just be prepared to walk a lot The hotel has a restaurant with good food but closes early. Basically, downtown closes up early. There is bars with restaurants in them that stay open later.

The hotel only has breakfast or a continental breakfast on weekends, but it does provide an option for coffee and box with cinnamon roll and breads and fruit.

We love staying in historic hotels and the hotel does an excellent job of telling and showing the hotel’s history through various events. Even the wine tasting is held in a cave under the hotel. The spa staff and products are wonderful. The location is perfect for shopping and dining and the hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the hotel parking lot or anywhere else in the historic area. There is also a very inexpensive shuttle for going around Eureka Springs.

Hotel staff are not consistently friendly or helpful. The hotel relies on texting to communicate information and doesn’t seem to coordinate with the resort host about resort events. Therefore, guests have to figure everything out on their own. The bathrooms don’t have space to place toiletries. Breakfast is included with some rooms but it is an odd combination of items - yogurt for one, banana bread for two, cinnamon bun for 2 or 3 that has to be heated in the lobby.

Great location for shopping until 5 pm. The room was great. Breakfast? none served in the restaurant. The staffe was great with the exception of one desk person.

No sit-down breakfast is available. One desk staffer was really rude, the guy with thin hair combed over his eyes. My husband was sprayed with pepper spray and the police just ignored and took no formal report. BUT your staff was great in helping us call EMS and the policeman. The desk did call about us and the restaurant crew took care of us when I needed requests from the EMS. They are awesome!!

The location was very cool, the room was clean, the bathroom was nice. The hotel experience was overall very good, one must remember the hotel was built in 1905. The shuttle system they created at the Basin ran perfectly- the hotel extras were unique, make sure to check it out. I would recommend the stay.

The hotel was built in 1905... the breakfast was boxed (but whatever...), there are places to get things if needed. Our room faced a neighbors window, but again it was built in 1905. My trifle things listed here are just small experiences, it was an over all good experience located in the heart of the town- enjoy.

As a motorcycle rider, I really appreciated the bike corrals in the parking lot area. The hotel provided the lock, and the bike was protected from the weather (we had a hail storm while I was there).

Like most very old hotels, don't expect quiet from your surroundings. The window A/C unit in my room roared like a jet engine, every footstep in the room above was like a drum beating, and the walls offered very little resistance to the sounds of exciting activities in other rooms.

Being shuttled to activities. Made it convenient to not drive around. The history. I loved the Hotel. Staff was amazing!

I felt the renovation crew could of put some love into the hotel. Base boards had knubbs of drywall where the walls were shot. I would of sanded that off or wiped down while green. Chalking smeared, paint smeared on new shower stall. No love. Even though old I would pick lighter color pallet on all of it.

Great location by shopping and restaurants and still convenient to go see other sites around town. The restaurant in the hotel had great food also. The shuttle from the parking lot was great to not have to park on the street and it was still close enough to walk to if you wanted. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when we visit Eureka Springs.

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The shuttle service around town and to the parking lot was fantastic and on call anytime until about midnight. the location is fantastic right in the middle of downtown. We were given a $15 breakfast voucher to use either at the Balcony Restaurant there in the hotel or at a couple of other options downtown. Game room is fun! Parkside Pretzel which is right next door and the owner Robert is one of the highlights of our trip!

There could be a lot of updates, even a simple paint job in the rooms. Rooms are a little small, but given that it is a historical landmark that is typical. Could not get water in shower to a good temp - either too cold or too hot, there really was no in between.

The atmosphere, the friendliness of most the staff. Room was clean and beds very comfortable The shuttle was available every time we needed it and driver very friendly. The tours you have are Great!

The Balcony restaurant could have been better. Twice we tried the indoor eating and were never approach by any of the staff. Sat there the first time for 15 mins and never even received water. The second time we sat right next to bar and we’re ignored. Left both times and went elsewhere
