The room was comfortable and clean. Nice central area outside under the pines. Nice restaurant with activities like trivia and music, good food. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. The pleasant, shady back porch was nice. Classic motor lodge and liked the old Joy Hotel sign that I remember from years ago.

Two things would improve the hotel. The air freshener in the room was OVERPOWERING! We had to get it out of the room. The people next door set theirs out as well. Second, the pool is very nice but really needs a shaded area to sit and that hangs a little way over the pool. The sun was intense. People watching their children or wanting to sit around the pool need a shady spot. I had to limit my swim to morningtime because I can’t be in the sun.

The staff was greatl! The pool needs re-hab, but it was cooling and friendly. Had a Bluegrass/ Rockabilly on Monday and a fun crowd. It had a nice balcony. Not fancy.No ice, and we did not receive room clean towels and took our own trash out. We had a ball! .Room 204, we moved over a room because the AC wasn't working. No problem.

No house keeping services. No ICE. TV remote worked sometimes you needed to get up close for it to work.

The staff was great and the bar is most definitely a selling point! Our room was not one of the renovated rooms but it was clean and large.

The door lock was easy to use to open the door, but a pain to use to lock it. We found it easier to just wait the minute for it to automatically lock itself. It was also a little problematic, at times, to only have one key between the two of us, but we made it work. Not really a big deal.

It's a really friendly, quirky no frills but plenty of character kind of place. There's a great bar and restaurant on the property. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Having terraces on both sides of the room was really nice.

It needs some updating. The carpet was a little nasty and the tub wasn't draining well. The room was huge but dark. Needs some better lighting.

I was very happy the pool was open again. I loved the music at the Gravel Bar and the food. The location is so close to downtown that you could walk if you want to. The room was clean and smelled nice. I liked sitting out and watching fire flies near my room.

I liked most of it. The room was not very attractive to look at and my bed was a bit hard. Everything else was great.

The Wanderoo Lodge is a 'one stop shop'. It has everything you could want. Good food, entertainment and location. Service was also very good. The fire pit was a nice touch. The staff's recommendations of things to see/do were very helpful.

I thought the price was high. Nobody wore masks even though at times the deck was quite crowded. There really isn't anything more I could 'ding' them for. This place is a great find!

The people! The Gravel Bar/Restaurant! The people! Kesha, Sebastián, David....they make it warm and inviting! Rooms were big!

A lot of steps for an old woman- due to circumstances beyond their control we couldn't get extra pillows and blankets but we made it!

Very clean grounds, it’s a short walk away from the main downtown area which is great if you don’t want to pay parking! the entire staff was very nice and helpful. when they say pet friendly they mean it! I absolutely love the Wanderoo and will always choose them when visiting Eureka!

I do not have any complaints it’s wonderful!

We enjoy the retro vibe of the Wanderoo! It is also a great location for us as we can ride our bikes from the property to any of the mountain bike trails in town as well as to downtown and back to the Wanderoo easily! We love the bar, friendly staff and how inclusive the Wanderoo is for everyone!

I liked the location and the mid century mod vibe. The main check in, restaurant and bar were very cool. I liked that there was a communal fire pit outside, as well as live entertainment on site at the bar/restaurant. The gas station next door was also really convenient for getting basic supplies (water, soda) to keep in the room. The staff at the front desk were also really wonderful; welcoming, friendly, helpful.

The bathroom door in our room was pretty torn up, and the bathroom sink was leaking. There was also no electric outlet in the bathroom. I’d say that the bathroom was probably the most undesirable part of the room. The parking lot was a little congested and difficult to maneuver.
