Motel 6-El Cajon, CA - San Diego

The grassy area for families to sit and enjoy. The security. They hire many employees who maintain the facilities. It is a large motel,, but quiet.The room was in good condition and sparse, but in good shape. Good access to the freeway and restaurants. Shopping center across the freeway.

Overall, for a 2-star motel, it is very well run and nice. They may receive subsidized guests, but all was calm and congenial.

Very clean and spacious room!! Cleaning service is offered daily! Staff is more than accommodating!! The room we stay in is perfect for our family! Would recommend to friends and family if needing to book a room!!

The only thing I didn’t like is there are a few people that are obviously on some type of stimulant who would walk up to us and ask us if we had any substances which I resent. I don’t like to be bothered by people who are on drugs.

That from the moment I arrived after a 10 hour drive I was welcomed like a friend. I was hangry, angry and I just wanted to punch someone. But the check in was easy and I wish I could remember his name but it was like I was dealing with an old friend. AWESOME.

That the room had the look of being well used and dated. But that's expected. But what blew me away was that it extremely clean and all the amenities were fully functional. I have been staying in hotels when in not at work for the past six months so I've seen quite a bit in that time. And having a card in the room that told me when the room was clean and by whom. Well that made me feel that there still people that have pride in their work. Rosa, will be the reason I come back. I have no idea who she is but I'm so appreciative of her. So much so that I actually left her a thank you note. Hell, for me to leave a review is huge.

I don't know anything about a breakfast. They did have some coffee at the front. It's definitely sort of a bare bones experience but it did the trick. Your office worker Casey was very helpful and I enjoyed speaking with him.

My TV didn't work. We also had to drive all the way around the motel even though there was a gate right next to us.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortabl. The staff were friendly and helpful.. The location was close to the freeway

Apart from a 7 Eleven, there were no food outlets close by as far as I could find. I had to drive several blocks on busy roads.

Room was clean and perfect for my 6yr old and me. Swimming pool was great and the people (other guests) were awsome!!

only one time i had to get my card reactivated the front desk guy wasnt as warm as he should be.

Room was clean. Bathroom was organized and clean. Staff was helpful with my needs.

Some of the furniture was not in the greatest condition. It was not bad but it was noticeable. The door also had a little wear and tear but it still closed.

ThE staff they were very concerned and caring. My reservation got screwed and they took time out and gave me other options which let me continue with my leisure time and enjoy my stay at motel 6

I didn't like the leaking of water that was on the floor couldn't figure out where it was actually coming from. The floor appeared to be warp and uneven I thought I might go thru the floor a bit scary and uncomfortable

Staff is friendly and ready to help you. The housekeepers are very respectful and nice. Was able to have my pets with me and I am very grateful.

Safety of guests was a priority, as security officers were visible on patrol. There was only one way in/out, cutting down on riff raff and vehicles.

I understand rooms in the San Diego area can be in short supply in summer, but two nights at a Motel 6 for $342 is ridiculous.
