it was cleaned pretty well. i took sanitizer wipes,paper towels, and cleaner thinking it may need to be cleaned for me to comfortable but All the surfaces and floors were good. the mattresses were actually really good. they came and cleaned the room once during our four night stay without us asking. staff was friendly people staying there were nice. i was pleasantly surprised!! during Christmas I changed my plans to stay at a different hotel as the price was RIDICULOUS so I didn’t expect much when we got there and will for sure be staying with them again for the price point it was actually better then expected. nothing fancy. NO BUGS or critters.

it’s by the freeway. we have kids so it wasn’t a bother but if your a light sleeper and like to sleep past 5am it may not be a good spot for you. didn’t bother us I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t read so many reviews before my stay.

It was SO nice to return to a clean room and fresh towels. I could tell the maid took pride in her work, SO refreshing! They allowed me a late checkout and it went smoothly with immediate communication to the others. I wish I’d have booked my entire week there as at a ‘Best Western’ now that has flies, smells musty and has dirty floors.

The coffee could have been a little stronger. Not a big problem , next time I’ll just bring some instant to add to it.

The room size was super awesome, there are electrical outlets EVERYWHERE! ,there are lights EVERYWHERE TOO!...the little couch had pull out cup holder console which was a nice surprise, the plantation shutters and the colors give the room a classy vibe, and they work, the a/c is easy to use and the filters where clean, the housekeeping comes daily and they work very hard and fast, the location is super close to the freeway, I have to be at work at 6am, I always made it a few minutes early, we needed to extend our stay, and the girls in the office made it super easy and kept us in the same room which was very nice. This stay was an emergency due to a car crashing into our home and destroying a main wall, this MOTEL 6 location really made this horrible situation a lot easier for us to get through and we will be back, THANK YOU MOTEL 6 FOUNTAIN VALLEY, HUNTINGTON BEACH AREA, YOU GUYS ROCK!!! 😍🤩

It was quiet for a holiday stay. The location is good for visiting the beach HB. It's affordable and there is a skating rink next door! Very cool. It is very close to markets. AC was working ...very comfortable for the price.

There is no coffee or coffee maker in room. Very basic soap for hand washing. But there is a CVS across the way if you need anything anyways. The motel is noted as having a swimming pool....but it doesn't have one. They need to update this as this was why I bought the room in the first place.

Very quiet room. Nice size. They definitely clean to COVID standards, I didn't see dust on anything and the room smelled like bleach. Nice size tv, fridge works great, quiet microwave. Plenty of outlets.

This is the only motel 6 I've ever been to that requires a deposit The vending machine charges $4. For a soda. The room is too bright during the day wood blinds instead of black out drapes.

The shower curtain was poorly installed and in to far not very good for a big guy trying to shower and keep the shower curtain off, the freeway was a bit noisy but thats to be expected so not that big of an issue i couldn't open the window because there was no screens

We needed a motel in this spot so it worked out well for us. Rooms were clean and spacious and they put our family next to each other, which isn’t always the case and was very helpful. Had a pool, which we thought was a bonus although we never actually used it as we were visiting friends in the area. We did appreciate the in room fridges. A little bit of freeway noise but not too bad. Overall exactly what we needed.

The parking lot was so full. Literally didn’t want to leave at night for anything because you wouldn’t have a spot on return. May have just been a busy time. Also, rooms are nonsmoking but people just stand in the doorways and smoke so, depending on your room, it could smell of smoke. Not really the motel’s fault but irritating.

A few grocery stores and drugstores within walking distance. A relaxing location tucked away in a residential area. My room was really nice I stayed for 2 weeks with my pup it was like a little studio apartment.

You will need a car to go anywhere except for the grocery store.

Rooms like the pictures and staff tried to solve issues,,, location is central in southern California

The traffic noise... the sound insulation needs to be better

Nice location, only a couple miles from the beach! Right by the freeway. I liked the Queen Suite. There's a Tommy's and Winchell's close by.

There is no pool but other than that it's cool. I don't mind it being by the freeway but if you want it quiet think about the traffic noise.
