Motel 6-Costa Mesa, CA

All of the front desk attendants were extremely kind. The properly itself was very clean, regardless of the current construction. Even with the cops showing up to the property at one point, it was still the most peaceful Motel 6 I've stayed at in Orange County (I've stayed at quite a few!). The rooms were nice, the location is awesome, it was a great experience overall!

Literally the ONLY thing I could even think to put here would be the ant problem. At one point our room had a swarm starting from our front door. We called the front desk and by the time we got back from work the next day, they were all gone! Even the ones we had been seeing all over the parking lot. It was awesome that they took it seriously and got rid of the problem immediately.

I have been staying at this property for the last 3 months about every other week. There is a man that sits in his Ford Explorer almost daily in the parking lot. From what I understand he is a friend of one of the staff possibly the manager. He smokes cigars, When he is finished he throws the butts outside on the ground. I have counted 4 to 5 of these disgusting things on the ground. Also, he also parts 90 % of the time in handicap parking. He is their to use the free Wi-Fi from what I understand. This is annoying.

the location was great, especially not having a kitchen and there being so many food options around. the staff was some of the best I’ve ever encountered at a motel 6; very kind and approachable, the kind of people that ask how you are and truly wanted to know.

the unpaid guest inside our room, aka just a small family of ants, which was taken care of right away.

It is usually quite clean an location is good for me at this time. Laundry room is up and running and ice was plentiful.

The TV was broken but was immediately replaced, cable was at 50% of the channels it offered an channel info, you had to guess what was on?

I reserved a room for non smoking. The room that was given to us smell like cigarettes - room 128 - check in approximately 6 pm to pick up the room key then came back around 10 pm - due to the smell - we are having light headedness and headache so I have to request a different room 138 which right away feeling better and sleep better

The staff and the maids are great they give customer service with a 😃 not a sour face keep up the great job to u all thank u

More knowledge of how to charge the client who has aarp membership and who is a member of genius loyalty gives u 15% off our room which we haven't got since we been here don't know why we always come here and we referred many people to rent only from MY MOTEL6 WE SHOW THE LOYALTY WHY CAN'T THIS COMPANY SHOW US LOYALTY WHY CAN'T THEY WHY.

It is usually always clean which is a must and within walking distance of shopping an of restaurants.

Some of the unruly people which you will find just about everywhere but not unusual or out of the ordinary.

Front desk staff and manger were very nice and helpful. Concerns were addressed right away. Close to the highway but quiet. Walking distance from restaurants and grocery.

They closed the pool very early.

That the pool was open, but could use a good cleaning as there were tree branch and debri in it. Other than that everything was red xcellent
