We come here often. Sometimes when having to go to Stanford for my Cancer appts, we stay here to have some ocean therapy instead of staying in Palo Alto. The staff at front desk are always so nice and friendly! Rooms are always clean and comfortable! It’s a beach hotel so it’s going to have weathered beach look. That’s part of the beauty of it! Restaurants and shops within feet of hotel! Famous Taco Bell on the ocean is about 5 minute drive.

Noisy morning delivery trucks/garbage trucks if you have window open to hear the ocean. But, we close the window… not a huge deal. They aren’t noisy all morning so it’s tolerable! The new $10 day parking fee is not bad. It’s worth it!

-Location, location, LOCATION -Free parking -Pet friendly without smelling like it -No carpet (asthma traveler approved) -Maid service on request for those sandy beach days. Even if you think you got all the sand at the beach, you haven’t lol FOOD NEARBY IS DELICIOUS! -Breakers has a yummy chopped salad & fries served with their sandwiches. $ -Rockin Robbins has great burgers/shakes/fries. $ -Nicks has awesome music on the weekend $$ -Uoyakutei Japanese Restaurant was the family favorite!! Everything we had was delicious. $$ -Moonraker has amazing dinner & views and I’d call this a special occasion restaurant, for intimate parties. They do have happy hour! $$$

The no view room was quite literal, opened the door to the Marriott next to it. Opening the blinds still provided light, but if your claustrophobic, it might bother you. The window was functional but provided no breeze with the building.

Very nice room! Ocean view and walking distance to some places. Room was very comfortable. Hallways are indoors so you're warm and sheltered from the wind immediately. The room is decorated wonderfully and is quite modern! Beautifully colored and compliments the nearby ocean and overall color scheme of the hotel. The bathroom is wonderful! No carpet in the room, so it did feel cleaner despite feet being extra cold.

The toilet paper holder was loose, so we had to constantly put it back into place. The dispensers for the shower products (shampoo, body wash, conditioner) are cute but dispense very little at a time. There is not really a closet, so we had to put our bags down in a random corner of the room that may get in the way of us trying to walk about the room. There is also a random blue tube thing that adds color to the bed, however simply got in the way and we just posted it up in another corner of the room. These are all minor inconveniences but overall we loved our stay and would stay here again!

The staff & the location we’re beyond wonderful! The front desk clerk, Ashley went above & beyond to see we had a wonderful stay! I wanted to bring her home with me. The manager & other staff members were also very helpful, friendly & welcoming. The location can’t be beat! Within walking distance to the beach, shops & restaurants.

The only thing we we’re slightly disappointed in was that the windows of our third floor room couldn’t be opened to hear the ocean & the AC/heater was very loud.

The view was great could hear the waves crashing on the rocks. The Swing shift young lady and Graveyard Gentleman were great and helpful. They were the 2 we dealt with the most. As well as the morning lady when we checked out. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

IThere isn't much that I didnt like, however just a suggestion: The faucet in bathroom should be moved more away from the back of sink as it would go onto counter if water wasn't on high.The other thing is the corners of the beds needs something to cushion them so it don't hurt as bad when bumped with thier shins.

The room was very clean. I liked the added room lock by the door. The bathroom was well stocked with towels. The bathroom provided toiletries which were nice. I was also extremely happy to see that I did not have to be a contortionist to reach the toilet paper....LOL. Toilet paper was placed in an easy place to reach. I appreciated an extra stand to place luggage. I was glad to see a mini Keurig with sufficient coffee pods available. The robes provided were a nice touch. The hotel was conveniently located to nearby restaurants, the beach, and walking paths. I appreciated the small fridge and microwave.

The room could have used more light. The shower handle worked in reverse which was confusing at first. The bathroom lighting could be a lot brighter.

The room as clean and good size. The beds were comfy and we appreciate the coffee making facilities in the room. We had a good ocean view and I think on the higher floor the views would have been even better. We drove here after a 11 hour plane journey from SFO and it was a perfect distance. We used this as a base to explore San Fransisco and we loved being calm by the ocean whilst driving into the busy city during the day to explore. We loved the place.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were within close proximity of the water and an excellent breakfast place. Having a view of the water would have been nice. I asked a favor on the last day and it was granted with ease to my surprise. Thank you so much Rockaway Inn for your kindness. We were about 30-40 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf. We felt our car and belongings were safe and secure.

It’s the only place we stay in Pacifica. We always get an ocean view room and love the views. There is a little path to the beach right outside the hotel and the local restaurants are great. Our favorite is Nick’s Rockaway, Breakers and Moonraker.

There were socks left in the drawer from the previous guest. I told the front desk and they sent housekeeping to remove them. The only problem, other than the socks (gross) was that housekeeping didn’t knock they just opened the door. Thankfully we weren’t changing. She was apologetic but that was poor customer service. Like everywhere prices have gone up, the bottled water was ridiculously high.

The staffs are absolutely wonderful and super helpful. I was having issues with my Lyft and Uber account and was running late for my next appointment. The staff at the front desk took the initiative to help us gotten a Lyft. Thank you again. Also, Pacifica is a lovely place, visiting SF was our main destination for the trip but if you have the transport, give Pacifica a shot. The town and it's near by areas are beautiful and seems pretty safe. Much better than spending the night in downtown SF.

The hot water from the tab was really milky for some reason. We thought it would clear after a while but after 3 nights stay it's still the same. We didn't have this issue with the other hotels we stay in the next couple of days. It's not a deal breaker and it might not be the hotel's fault but just something to note. Hygiene can be better too, bedsheet wasn't the cleanest.
