Holiday Inn Express San Francisco Airport North, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at the same brand hotel in San Mateo before, but I didn't expect much from this hotel located in South San Francisco, as I remembered that the building was very old. I was shocked when I checked in and entered the room. !! It's the same brand, but the dimension is completely different!! staff friendliness. The defect in the room was 10 points, but the mattress comfort was so comfortable that I could rest. While going out to go to a nearby supermarket for a while, the woman looked unwell when she saw the couple on the street shaking without a home. I gave them as a gift because I wanted to let them rest for a night. They didn't want to accept it, but they entered the hotel room. I felt more comfortable and grateful for the warmth with tears lol I immediately left the hotel. I hope you have a trip that will leave you with fun and happy memories~~~♡♡♡thank you

The point is that the internet wifi is not secure. And if every room is equipped with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and soap, it will probably be of great help to customers who do not have toiletries on their way to urgent trips or business trips. Just my personal opinion.

Nice little fitness room and good jacuzzi that stayed open until 11 Pm The bed was comfortable and the pillows were very good The staff were all nice, polite and helpful!, except one time listed below

we did not like the hidden surprise fee of $15. for overnight parking, at a motel!. The in -room coffee service was not well supplied and was lame with tea bag choices. We were happy to have a breakfast with a few high protein items. But the gray sausage patty and the shiny hard sausage links were a bit weird. at check out, we wanted to pay with cash, we split the cost and each handed her what we thought was correct cash including parking. she said we were $14 short so I gave her a $20 and received change. we went upstairs to get our luggage and the desk clerk called to say she gave the wrong change and needed 5 more. so on the way out we gave her a five. We still don’t know if it was our mistake or not

Room, bedding and linens were very comfortable. Wished there was a quick guide on how to operate the t.v. remote, as it was tampered with by previous guest.

The out-going recorded information for SFO shuttle services was completely incorrect. I tried to bring it to the attention of the staff on duty, so that other guests wouldn't fall into paying $30 for a 4 mins ride on Uber. The staff seemed minimally interested in my input: "I have no idea about that. I just work here." Also asked the same staff about an event happening on location the next day (purpose of my trip); same response "I'm not sure. I think it's happening. I just work here." Asked another concierge staff 4 hours later (diffn't shift), who was able to confirm the event. It doesn't take much to appear interested in helping a guest.

I came to SF for one business meeting from the other coast and needed a place to stay at for a night after the flight. I had good sleep, the receptionist at the check-in was friendly and the room was clean so I could take the bath and look fresh and ready on the next morning. The breakfast was pretty mediocre but I was told it was due to the Covid (I travelled in June 2021 when California was still under restrictions). Overall, I don't regret my hotel choice and if I ever need to stay overnight in an airport hotel in SF the chances I'd pick Holiday Inn are quite high.

Not mentioning some strange things as the dialogue with the receptionist at the check out (-Can I work in the lobby while I'm waiting for my flight? - Yes but no longer than 15 mins - Why?! - Covid, ma'am... - Ok, I'll work from the airport, could you call me a taxi? - Sure, but could you wait for your it outside? Covid...) the only thing that I find really disappointing is the lack of airport shuttle. I came to the SFO at around 1 am and waited for some shuttle for more than an hour. People from other hotel were picked up but not us... If you don't provide transportation at night or it has to be pre-ordered, would be lovely to tell that somewhere in advance because paying 200 USD for a 5 minutes Uber ride is not what one expect when coming to a hotel with a night cost of 100 USD.

The bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was really nice.

I love to take baths but the tub was covered in some kind prickly stuff that made for a horrible bath experience. The breakfast was disappointing as only pork, eggs and biscuits were the only hot options. No potatoes? Why biscuits if you offer toast and bagels? For those with restrictive diets, this is not the breakfast for you. Microwave could be bigger...

Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Good channels to choose from on the TV

Pull out bed was used and no sheets on bed. Have to ask for extra sheets, blanket and pillows for that. Fridge worked a bit but wasnt too cold at all. Breakfast was good but hot items were cold and no monitoring of the food. Saw an old man drop a sausage patty and put it back. Just gross

Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was a nice touch and to be honest, very good food. Nice size room for the price.

They throw in several taxes at checkout that you don't expect.... A Conference and Hospitality Tax. That's crap. These are things that no customer should have to pay...period! Occupancy Tax $15.00 plus County Conf. Tax $ 5.00 plus Hospitality Fees $ 7.00 plus

Overall I would recommend to a friend . Location, ease of use and friendly staff.

Youngsters were looking forward to waffle or pancakes on the breakfast bar. Pool was not available for the entire stay. Limited parking. otherwise everything was okay.

1. Didn't eat the breakfast, slept in. For people like me who get up late, any possibility we could opt in to a grab and go bag? 2. Location ok 3. Miss the airport shuttles VERY much. Perhaps a voucher for paying half of the UBER?

1. I feel all the hotels that offer breakfast included should come up with a ticket system to present. I wouldn't ever use the ticket & could turn it back in for the cost of breakfast refunded on my bill.

I love this hotel we go for the whirpool room almost once or twice a month to relax away from home. The customer service at the front desk was amazing.

The shower curtain of the first bathroom was dirty it had mold, the entrance of the room was really wet I totally understand that preivious guest could've have spill something but it wasn't pleasant to take my shoes off and feel that. I payed a parking pass and had to parked across the street in another hotel, it was cold and sprinkling. The whirlpool suite price went up a little too much.
