What a wonderful stay we had! Steve and the team were all so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the start. The Desert Riviera is the perfect size if you're looking for a relaxing vacation - being able to take just a few steps from the room straight into the pool was such a treat. And we loved having the pool toys available for use - the flamingo was our favourite! The location was also excellent, a short walk to various restaurants, cocktail bars and a delicious ice cream shop. I would highly recommend staying here :-)

The Desert Riviera Hotel is truly a gem! Its grounds exude an intimate, tranquil, and inviting atmosphere. Steve, our host, goes above and beyond, embodying warmth and helpfulness. The camaraderie among guests adds to the sense of intimacy. The heated pool and jacuzzi are delightful amenities, and the availability of bikes for town exploration is a plus. Its proximity to downtown and the Indian Canyons makes it an ideal location. The property impeccably preserves Palm Springs' iconic mid-century vibe. I eagerly anticipate my next stay at the Desert Riviera Hotel!

So many lovely little touches and wonderful service at Desert riviera. It was more like a little community than a hotel. Great location, close to some good restaurants and not a far drive from the main strip. If you’re looking for a bougie 5 star resort, then go elsewhere, but if you want a fun, cute, kitschy, well serviced and SUPER clean place then this is for you. It has everything you could need for a short or long stay including laundry, bbq, and a community kitchen, and a cute box of snacks upon check in. The pool is nice and warm and open 24/7 which is awesome. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one was probably the cleanest, (cleaner than the super expensive ones) the attention to detail and care taken was very appreciated.

Really only a couple of minor things, the bed wasn’t uncomfortable but it could have been a little softer for my taste and the blanket wasn’t our favourite. (Not cushy) And you could hear some noise from a neighbouring property in the early morning but that’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s an older hotel (with some updates though) and is styled to keep the mid century feel which we loved, but might not be for everyone.

It has been many decades since we have been so warmly greeted and personally taken care of at a hotel or resort. The staff went above and beyond, not just to meet our needs, but also encouraging us to let them know what more they could do. The pool and hot tub area were well supplied, robes were in the rooms, our room had a bedroom, kitchen and bath. There were outdoor tables, barbecues, a pizza oven and a well stocked continental breakfast.

Our stay was an absolute delight. The relaxed and inviting vibes set the perfect tone for a tranquil getaway. We loved the heated pool and fantastic jacuzzi providing a serene environment. The room boasted completeness and comfort, with a spa-like shower that enhanced the overall experience and a super comfortable bed. The attentive staff, complimentary bikes for exploring, and a lovely breakfast rounded out the exceptional experience. We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Desert Riviera Hotel.

We loved it!

Great big room with comfortable bed and seating area. Separate small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery and everything needed. Breakfast was plentiful. Cereal, yogurt, juice, bagels, toast, muffins were all available and delicious. The room had a seating area just outside overlooking the pool. There were plenty of shared facilities - full kitchen with cooker and large fridge/freezer - barbecue area - pizza oven - games and bikes!! Had a great time relaxing around the pool, with great music playing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Room has plenty of wardrobe storage. Bathroom was large and shower was good. Kitchenette was bigger than expected, had fridge and microwave. Air conditioning worked well and fan above bed was a nice addition. Pool is outside the room door and very enjoyable. BBQ area is well appointed with BBQ, smoker, pizza oven and gas fire heater. Koffi across the road offers great coffee. I enjoyed the retro look and feel of the establishment, but this may not be to everyone's taste, as it means it is not 'modern plush'.

It's a little south of town centre. Off street parking is limited - but street parking is plentiful.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING EVERYTHING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DESERT RIVIERA HOTEL!!! Corbin was amazing and gave us such a warm friendly check in process that is the best we've ever experienced even at 5 star hotels! TRACI was amazing too and she was soooo kind to us and helpful with everything we had questions about. AND WOWSERS the "check in" mango cart was amazing! plus the wine! we honestly have now found our forever hotel whenever we head to palm springs! oh did i mention the EGGS!!! in the community kitchen??? and the continental breakfast every morning!!! plus the beach cruiser bikes for free!!! and who needs sunblock when they have a stable of community blocks to choose from... plus that double grill, smoker, pizza oven and a fire pit table with a tv to enjoy your bbq!!! THIS PLACE IS BEYOND AMAZING!!!

WE DIDN'T LIKE THAT WE CAN'T AFFORD TO STAY AT THE DESERT RIVIERA FOR LONGER PERIODS OF TIME!!!

Staff and facilities were excellent. Provided beer upon check-in. Beautiful fire pits, heated pool, and cozy area for jacuzzi area. Breakfast had decent options. We checked in during the winter time - not crowded and quiet. Excellent for a quiet and cozy getaway that we were looking for

Bed faces the door. Not a huge deal, but layout of room could be slightly improved.

Everything! We were greeted by Jasmine with an adult beverage and a tour of the facility and amenities. She was amazing; she did everything to make us feel welcomed and right at home. She is an asset to your hotel/business. The pool was great, so was the snack area. The room was super clean and had a pleasant fragrance—stylish too!
