I loved how spacious the room was. It was like having our own little apartment. The staff was friendly and the grounds were well maintained. While there were a few small things that weren't up to par... Overall this place is a really great value, with lots of space, and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

The patio had lots of spider webs on the patio furniture and a TON around a pipe or gutter drain that was on the side of the outside wall.. Plus there was a spider in the room by the front door. It seems to me like pest control probably should be a little more of a priority. Additionally one of the "clean" towels that was hanging in our bathroom when we arrived had make up smudges on it... So I am pretty sure it wasn't "clean". However, they had extra towels under the sink so luckily I was able to swap it out.

Our family spent a lot of time in the pool area. The swimming pool was spacious and clean, along with the jacuzzi that was cleaned and maintained at the right temperature every day we were there. The BBQ area was conveniently on hand to fire up meals. The Recreation area was also a hit for our family. We used the pickleball area to create lasting memories and laughter together while competing for our first annual pickleball tournament. We plan on coming back to Riviera Oaks Resort.... Thanks

The BBQ AREA wasn't a big deal, but needs to be mentioned. The cleaning supplies were conveniently offered, but the cleaning and scrubbing supplies needed to be refreshed. The cleaning rags were soiled and dirty. But we made do what we had to work with.

the pools were great! heated and clean. the beds were nice and the room was clean and spacious. it was also really nice to have laundry right on site for free.

if I’m paying resort fees I expect things like the Wi-Fi to work. it would also have been nice to have breakfast on site since the closest place was over a mile away so either bring breakfast to make or be prepared to go into town. a restaurant in general would have been nice since Ramona was 12ish minutes away.

It was the closest to perfect I've ever encountered. The huge spacious 2 bedroom villa is bigger than most of the leasing apartments people live in for life. Here everything is big — the beds, the table, the private balcony, the kitchen. It is so comfortable when you walk without bumping into each other! The amenities are great: kitchen has all the appliances, every room has a TV, on-site laundry is free and efficient, pool is clean and big, jacuzzi is working properly, territory is well-tended, parking is easy, towels and pillows are in plenty. It really feels fantastic! The mountains around frame the sky and the palms, the front desk is always helpful, the quiet time at night is maintained, so there's everything to feel a perfect getaway. We managed to catch a great deal in price and we never mentioned the long drive while we stayed here.

The only thing that could be improved is the cleaning of the living room. It should include looking under the couch and the armchairs. While our kids played there, we found a couple of small toys and a baby bottle with some liquid inside under the couch.

Rooms are vary spacious and comfortable; all the amenities are needed including full kitchen, extra bedding, and dishware. Impeccably clear and up to date. Our work team always appreciates staying here!

The pricing makes this location a little rough to afford for two rooms for our work team but we still appreciate this location better than the other options in the area. Otherwise, no other complaints!

The Riviera Oaks Resort is a great place to bring your family. We were two grandparents, mom and dad and two grandsons, aged 3 and 6. Much to do on the premises. Great heated pools (two) and a hot tub. The older grandson even got his first tennis lessons while we were there. Rooms are large and spacious and kitchen equipped with basic tools for cooking. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating! Not much to do in Ramona, but drive out 10 miles on the Old Julian Highway and you are in the midst of gorgeous rolling hills and wineries. much fun.

Units really need an overhaul. Our room had this musty odor, which I assume came from the carpets or maybe the upholstery. Everything was clean, but just seen better days.

I’ve stayed a couple times prior to this visit. What made the difference this time was the staff. The receptionist when I checked in was super helpful and he mention a laundry facility on the property. it was super helpful.

The pool was under maintenance, it would of been nice to have something posted before booking. My kids were looking forward to use the spa. There was another pool available at a different building not too close to us. Too far to go.

Awesome place for our wedding weekend, it was like staying at a relatives home, comfortable and cozy 5 stars all the way

Location is an issue if you driving back and forth to San Diego. Not for us as all our functions were at Mt Woodson Castle. Property is dated but in excellent condition it’s like staying at parents house.

Views of the mountains, nice pool, hot tub, & fitness center. Comfy bed, nicely laid out apartment.

Wi fi is iffy - it frequently went down for 10 to 20 minutes at a time. If you need reliable internet, go elsewhere. We also had several maintenance items that needed fixing - the tv, the heat, and the garbage disposal all had to be fixed. These things should have been checked out prior to renting.

The timeshare is a bit dated but in excellent condition, staff was awesome and everything worked in our unit and beds we’re comfortable

We had a wedding at Mt Woodson castle, so location was perfect, but its not really close to anything as far as San Diego attractions if that’s why someone is staying there.
