Staff friendliness, great customer service, great pricing and breakfast was great. Waffle mix and egg omelettes were delicious 🤤. Water pressure in shower was great.

Didn’t like the sausage patties (didn’t like the taste). Building conditions are a bit outdated: Our toilet rocked when we sat on it, bedroom door didn’t close all the way. It didn’t lock all the way so we had to use the chain to feel a bit safer. Our beds were on wheeled frame which made them slide around when one of us got up at night; we couldn’t find the lock mechanism to stop the bed from rolling.

Super close the the festival venue we were attending and walking distance to old town Sac.

I wish they would accept cash payments, it doesn’t leave travelers with a lot of options when only credit cards are accepted. The bed was a little too firm, but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. My biggest peeve is that the housekeepers cleaned our room each day (which is fine) but the first day did not replace the towels that were taken out. We were left 1 towel, then the second day they threw away the soap we were using but didn’t leave a replacement. None of it was major, just a little annoying when you go to wash hands or shower.

PROS: The property was nice. Hotel room was overall great. The bed was really comfortable. The shower worked great. The the tv worked. The a/c worked. The great perk that they had was access to the Sacramento River, this was nice.

CON: Pool not available and floor left your feet black from walking, and the floor was sticky. It’s due to the cleaning supply they use.

Breakfast was good. The (African American) Breakfast lady was very nice and friendly. She gets a 15 out of 10. She was an awesome person and made sure I got some food for my family. Bathroom curtain was ripped Hand towels were a bit dirty, they had stains. Location was good , easy to find. Even though, there were minor issues, I will stay there in the future.

I loved that the hotel was close to everything we visited, Old Sacramento, State Capitol building/park, restaurants and museums, and freeways. The room and facilities were very clean and friendly service. Also a pleasant surprise was that the Sacramento River was right behind the hotel and there was a gate that you could go out to see the River close up. I did need my key to get back in and I loved that added security. Easy for the guests but made difficult for everyone else to enter the facilities through that door.

I did not like that it was raining but nothing can be done about that. Also the day I arrived, no one was at the front desk. There were a few of us that were locked out in the rain, waiting for someone in the front desk to check us in. Eventually a young lady came in and opened the front door and we went in to wait our turn out of the rain. Other than that experience, everything else was perfect.

Location was perfect for where we were planning to go, the room was clean although a little small. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lights were on and ready for us when we arrived which was perfect because we did come in later than expected.

I'd like actual pillows . Really that was all, the people hanging around probably isn't something the hotel itself could do anything about.

Breakfast exceeded expectations- the variation between fruit selection, hot breakfast or cereals and pastries is fantastic to be included in the price when traveling with a family.

Seating could have been better, it does tend to get busy around the same time everyone wants to get to breakfast and I found this area a little small during the busy times at the hotel, but otherwise it met all expectations.

The room allocated was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room also had air con which was essential when the temperature was over 100 each day. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful particular the young guy who worked in reception. The breakfast provided was limited but was satisfactory for me. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the train station.

The breakfast was great, and the bed were very comfortable. Rooms were very nice sized. Lots of space when traveling with kids. We had a small outdoor patio that was nice in the evenings. The pool and hot tub we're clean and heated and we were able to enjoy them. The location was great, easy to get to downtown and many different attractions in Sacramento.

The bathroom fan needs to turn off separately from the light!

Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was nice with a variety of food choices. Most of the staff was friendly. Price is very affordable.
