The highlight of the hotel for me was the gym and the pool. The gym has everything you need and more for a great workout. The pool was heated and the services on the pool level were great! Had great interactions with the staff who were all helpful. Complimentary coffee & tea in the morning was a plus. Valet team members were kind and helpful.

Front desk did not properly inform us when checking in that self parking ($28) does not include in-out privileges. So if you plan on leaving at all go with valet because its $40 and you can go in&out. We ended up spending $50+ on self-parking. Also, for those who like firmer beds and pillow - you won't find that here unfortunately. The bed/pillow were way too soft for me liking.

the public indoor spaces were not extensive and only OK for this price range don't really have a hotel restuarant? Not in the traditional sense. "Can I get breakfast" well there's a starbucks 5 minutes away... Price is a lot for what you get and sacramento -- it's the nicest hotel downtown sac, much nicer than hyatt but also very full price for downtown sac. It feels like it is priced up for the fact there aren't other top hotels in Sac.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, inviting lobby, free happy hour, great location to cafes and restaurants.

Parking garage was unavailable due to construction during our stay so we had to pay to valet which was an unexpected added cost to our stay. I would have liked the hotel to email all guests that were booked for this weekend ahead of time to warn that the garage was not available.

It was a hi-end lodging, indeed. Easy to get to, safe parking, and a very comfortable room. The front desk staff was very accommodating. My room was very quiet and conducive to a great nights sleep. I appreciated that very much..

In addition to my toilet being clogged upon arrival, there was feces on my toilet seat. The front desk staff did a great job in getting custodial engineers to address both problems. However, they could have done a much better job in cleaning up after themselves. No worries, though, as I cleaned up for them., in a

clean rooms and friendly stuff, I liked the place

Grill restaurant is definitely not recommended. We went there and asked for a table, there were at least 10 free tables but they don't allow us to sit there. because as they say "the tables are not ready" the cutlery sets were not on the table???? and we say no problem we can sit and they can bring it later while we order the drinks etc. She says NO, not possible because the tables are not ready? After that we left this place and complained to the reception about the what happen, but I'm not sure if this information was forwarded to the management? To be honest I don't think so because the guy on reception was also quite disinterested when we mentioned the problem with the restaurant to him! However, the restaurant is just poorly managed and definitely not a place I would recommend! !

very good hotel with a complimentary wine/beer 😉 location is just close to Old Town. you even don’t need to cross the street. just go there under the bridge. many stores and cafes in the neighborhood Revival on the 3rd floor is amazing! relaxing zone with cocktails at the swimming pool! the view is awesome out there!

was difficult to find a seat in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. there was an opportunity to seat near the bar but it was too hot and we had to leave. no AC in the area with high chairs.

Very convenient location to everything. Plenty of fun things to do and see all within walking distance

Only two issues. Timing is everything and on our stay both lounge areas were closed for private parties. Luckily, there’s plenty of other options in the immediate area. Room came with extra pillows, but they were covered in an unknown substance.

Professionally run, immaculately clean hotel with a great location and large rooftop swimming pool. Excellent service around the pool. On site parking and valet service available which was great after a long drive. Ice available on every floor of the hotel was handy for cold drinks. Saves going to bar or reception.

The #1 best thing is the location. Food is not a problem, convenient stores within 2 blocks, Old Sacramento is less than 10 minute walk and Chinatown is a 5 minute walk. Literally a perfect spot for staycation. Parking is also available at the basement of the hotel building. And then I love the refreshments provided throughout the day. Coffee in the morning and some juice/wine and snacks in the afternoon. I dont have any pet but this hotel is pet friendly and I’d absolutely love it if I had one!

Not necessarily something I’d usually dislike, but as someone with a curious toddler, the bathroom door was too dangerous. It’s a sliding door with no lock and it doesnt even shut. My toddler was able to open the door, get in the bathroom and open the toilet and ransack the trash bin. The bathroom counter also has a towel holder (well, I assume it is a towel holder) underneath it that has corners that could potentially harm small children. If you have anyone that you’d need to protect from these kind of things, either children or pets, you may want to reconsider it. Maybe ask the hotel if they have a room with a different “design.” I didnt expect this at all. I would love to return to this hotel because I truly enjoyed it, but without my toddler or a pet (if I have one in the future).
