Location was great. View from the pool was beautiful, plus it was heated. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The flowers all around the property were amazing. We were steps away from the beautiful Sunset Cliffs Park. Only a 3 minute drive to Ocean beach. Lots of places to eat and shop. Rooms were sound proof.

The restroom was super small. The AC leaked water due to condensation both inside and outside of our room. And lastly, the extended patio area overlooking the ocean was unavailable due to the fact that it had fallen into the ocean. I think the website should be updated and that area be removed. I chose this specific hotel due to the views and assumption we could sit on that patio and overlook the ocean while watching the sun set. My family was very disappointed when we arrived to see it was all gated off.

We had one of the rooms directly at the end of the building next to the cliffs and our view was absolutely amazing. Watching the sun set on one of the comfortable sofas was an experience I'll never forget. I imagine during a more busy season the central pool area and patio would be quite loud but for us it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and the rooms were well kept.

The only negative I have is the bed was a little older and uncomfortable and could use updating.

We were on the bottom floor, queen bed, small room but it was just the two us. The room/bathroom was super clean, we applaud the cleaning ladies. Loved the patio area, nice to just hang out and watch the waves. Unfortunately, the extended part of the patio sank into the sea, but they are planning on getting it replaced. Enjoyed walking distance to the Ocean Beach Fair (Newport) on Wednesdays. Wonderful to have a frig/microwave to store or warm up our goodies from the street fair. A nice stroll and steps away from beautiful sea cliffs. Nice to have a small market/liquor/gas station across the street for munchies etc. Parking was plentiful on the street or assigned. The area felt safe and it was closer than I thought to Old Town, Museums etc. Price was reasonable for the location and we do plan to come back.

We did understand that the coffee in the lounge was not available due to Covid but we wished it was. We went across the street to the market for $2 coffee. Folger coffee in the room was terrible and my husband isn't picky.

The views were great with plenty of space to relax. We will definitely try to stay here again

Unfortunately the weather from 2022 destroyed the lower deck, but was never disclosed in website (as of july 2023) would have been nice to chill there. With that being said we still will return .

The location was great. I loved all the roses they had. Was unbelievable how huge they were and the fragrance was awesome. The room was clean and well decorated. The only downside was the size for the money. We were there on a Friday night and they had this gentleman playing the guitar and singing and it was awesome.

The size of the room in the TV were just a little small for the price. But the decor was very beachy

Clean, easy parking. Right next to the ocean. Very well manicured rose bushes/gardening. Nice outside areas to relax

Storms caused the rear lower patio are to collapse, there were stairs that went down for ocean access but were blocked off from the damage. If they can get this fixed and have ocean access then we would most definitely come back again!

Great view and entertainment ie; the Lounge singer .

The stair to the second floor were slanted downward felt unsafe but we managed. The shower drain in our room #209 was very slow and we had to stand in a flood shower floor . A/c units leak a lot of condensation onto the walkway, right outside our room, causing a slip hazard .

Position is number one, we loved being in that area between Point Loma and Ocean Beach. From the hotel you benefit of a wonderful view, and the position is good to visit San Diego. Staff is friendly. Cleaning service every morning is so good to have in a place where you come back from the beach every day.

The pool is so small. Also, being in that super position on the cliffs, they could fix the access to the beach: now it looks like a building site..

Fabulous view. Loved sleeping to the sound of the ocean waves. For us it was a perfect location.. Lots of places to take long walks. Staff was very nice.

Though the rooms were made up daily, the floors were seemingly not cleaned/swept.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The room was so clean and well kept. When we had a problem with the electrical outlet, it was fixed immediately. And the view... My goodness, the view!

The only little complaint we had was the shower drain being slow and backing up.
