Everything from check-in to check out was good. rooms are really good and well kept. choose one Breakfast options from the menu was a bit irritant, there should be mix and match option.

On the website at booking.com its written 'wifi in all areas', which one can assumed is free, though free word is not written. you should write clearly that wifi is chargeable/free. We didn't notice that and logged in and after seeing there is a charge of 10 $ per day within a minute we logged-out and have informed reception about the same and asked them to not to charge as we didn't used wifi but have been charged for 3 days that also was a bad experience.

Staff were all very nice and helpful. They also offered additional perks for a cable car ride, etc., that were nice.

Neighborhood might be a bit dicey at night and is about three blocks from Union Sq, not on Union Square as some listings indicate. Breakfast was mediocre and served in a rather depressingly small room. The ambiance could be enhanced greatly.

the hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very clean. the staff was really nice and helpful. I was even offered Champagne and cable car tickets!

The excessive price for the parking (60$/night). Wifi in the room not free (10$/night).

The hotel itself is beautiful and amazing very art deco speak easy feel. However, parking is extra every night, the deposit is higher than stated on booking.com, the staff doesn't understand vouchers or a room credit of 25.00. We paid extra for breakfast everyday, when it was suppose to be included. We did not know about the trolly voucher till we left, and had already paid for trolly. We walked everywhere, and you have to be careful to watch for feces outside on sidewalks, as well as there is a club literally between this hotel and neighboring, which gets very loud on certain days so be prepared for that.

As stated above.

Staff was great! I arrived with a super awful headache and they were able to arrange an appointment for me at a local urgent care. Room was as I expected in terms of comfort/layout/quality.

I was surprised how much I could hear people in the hallway given the beds distance from the door, which wasn’t great for someone who goes to bed early. And I was quite disappointed in the toiletries offered. Usually at a hotel of this level I don’t bother to bring shampoo/conditioner because what’s on offer is usually good. This stuff was not. In fact the smell reminded me of the soap used in gas station rest rooms. I’d expect that at a holiday inn, but not a Marriott hotel.

Breakfast was great. We received vouchers for the breakfast. $25 resort credit appears to automatically be charged so you need to use it or lose it. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Right around the hotel is ok but a couple streets over each way, there are a lot of homeless. Yes. That is everywhere in city but a little close to the hotel. Just to be aware. We always felt safe walking back to the hotel late at night tho. The last night we had to change rooms due to a fire alarm battery dying and no staff to change the battery. We thing we’re placed in the room that shared the bed wall with the elevator shaft. We heard the elevator go up and down all night. However in the morning when we talked to the front desk manager, Fabio, he quickly comped the night for us and gave us his apologizes.

Great Hotel! The lovely staff, which basically made the trip 10x better, was a blessing. Are there cheaper options, maybe? Are there better areas, maybe? Are there any other Hotels like Hotel Adagio...no because you can't find the same staff there as Chris or Issak. The hotel was safe, breakfast was delicious, the bar and lounge at night were awesome and on top of that, you get $25 credit that goes towards anything you spend for breakfast or dinner. And that's each day. You also get tickets to cable car rides for free, water bottles at your disposal, Champagne daily, and an endless supply of coffee, Teavana tea, and Hot Chocolate. Every single staff member I encountered was pleasant and genuinely happy to help. I felt like a true guest and extended my stay twice! Chris is awesome to talk to! He's funny and full of energy. He's super nice and bright with many good food recommendations. A huge plus to the hotel and a great friend to any guest. Issak was also very chill and cool. He really helped me out when I needed some advice and came through big time. He was nice to talk to and had a really cool and laid-back vibe.

I wish there was lunch available and also extended hours for both breakfast and dinner. The lounge closes at 10 and if I am being honest, there are a lot of people in the hotel who would make good use of the breakfast joint and lounge open for even an hour longer. Not a big deal but, again, it would be nice to get some fries for some late-night munchies. Thank you

The hotel seem to be in a good central location for what we had planned. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and late night eats. The cable car was also only a couple blocks away which was an easy fun way to get to fisherman's warf. If you're not a walker you'll need to rent a car or Uber to get around to all the other sites. The hotel decor was really nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the rooms was not having a bathtub. The free breakfast was really nice but they did have a full menu if you wanted to purchase something fancier although I thought what you got for free was pretty good. Overall I thought it was a great place to stay and would come again.

Breakfast and the service we received was excellent.

The gentleman at the front door was a bit rude. He became unpleasant towards us after I kindly refused his help with our bag. We didn’t have any luggage and we simply didn’t need any help. We checked in only with a tote bag with a couple pieces of clothing since we had no plans initially on staying the night. We tried to have a conversation with him in the elevator and just ignored us. We came across him in the elevator multiple time in the elevator and received the same treatment from him. However, everyone else in the hotel was extremely wonderful.
