We checked in with Patty - she was WONDERFUL! It was easy to find, good parking, and a cute little property! We came out for a concert at Mountain Winery, and this was the perfect location. The room was spacious enough, had a nice little fridge and microwave, plus the plates, etc. The property is pretty. We like the Mediterranean garden feel of it, PLUS it is located right there in town with places all around to eat and drink and shop!

The bed was super comfy but extremely squeaky.That was not so fun, but again, it was comfy. We slept well. I would update things a bit, maybe some newer furniture.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Los Gatos Garden Inn! This place is sp cute and quaint! Great location on Main Street and everything is walkable. The grounds are nicely kept, we were greater by Patty behind the desk when we arrived , she was friendly and kind. The hotel was apparently built in 1947 which we thought was cool , it still has that old school charm. It was clean, the bed was comfortable. They offer coffee & snacks in the office and there were waters and a mini fridge in our room. Very mich affordable rates! We would definitely stay again!

I liked this property so much that when I had to extend my reservation and my room was booked, I just reserved another room. Being in town for an extended time and being able to stay in such a nice place was amazing. I had liked the old room, but this one was definitely a step up. It had a kitchen with kitchenware, big bathroom, eating table, and a work area. it was great to come back to that at the end of a stressful day. Plus, I was able to do laundry during my stay. The rooms are all behind gated garden or patio areas, so it feels very secure as well as being pretty. The area is really nice, with a lot of cute looking shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. I was only able to visit one eatery due to my schedule, but the nachos at the Mexican restaurant right across the street were excellent. The staff was really nice and very helpful — Nancy and Karen were excellent, and special shout out to the wonderful Patty who helped get my first room sorted and told me about the nachos. (Apologies if I missed anyone)

There is a little bit of traffic noise that you can hear, but it’s not terrible. My bed had a depression in the mattress from previous sleepers, but as I was alone I could sleep in the middle. It was comfortable there.

The room was incredibly spacious. The TV was a good enough size with DirecTV channels and lots of them. Full size Fridge, Gas oven/range, microwave allowed us to have a more 'at home' feel. Huge bathroom, which is nice and unexpected in hotels. The grounds were beautiful and I appreciated the security gates. The room comes equipped with a keurig and several pods.

The furniture is a little bit dated. Not so much so that I was upset by it, but it may be off putting to some people to have outdated mis-matched furniture that is a little dented and dinged. The 'heat' labeled switch in the bathroom doesn't work and apparently hasn't for a long time, but remains labeled on the switch. No breakfast, just granola bars.

I liked the room and 'villa' feel of my location. I would like Room 36 again for a future visit as it had a courtyard view. The air conditioner worked well and the water pressure for the shower and tub was great. My stay was peaceful and parking was close and I appreciated the security cameras and lighting.

The bedding comforter and matching pillow covers showed a bit of wearing out and could be refreshed with newer ones. The ceiling fan over the bed was dusty. The bathroom exhaust fan was loud and maybe that could be replaced with a whisper model if some sort.

Such a cute hotel, lots of character with each room opening up onto very nice communal gardens/patios. The staff were all extremely friendly and lovely people, very willing to help out with any needs. Onsite laundry was a bonus. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Los Gatos with everything in walking distance. Lots of great food options nearby.

The parking is pretty tight, but we still managed to make it work in a 3 row SUV and there were a couple of large trucks that still managed to squeeze in. Just be careful when opening your doors!

The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms and grounds were cute (even if they are a little dated). The staff even called me when I departed the hotel and left my ipad behind in my room. I have never recovered anything of mine from a hotel once I left it. They always say the items were never found. Not at Los Gatos Garden Inn Hotel :) I especially liked when I upgraded to the King suite, there was an on suite kitchen- useful for longer stays.

I think the linens & decor could use updating, go with nice solid light colors like white. It feels very homey with the current linens and decor. But I think it might turn some people off. I personally would rather it be dated and a great price than renovated and more expensive. It still was very clean so that put me at ease with the unique linens

It is so quaint & has such great history. The property is WELL maintained. The bed was super comfortable as were the pillows… super important. Also, despite its proxy to many wonderful things, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, kind & super helpful!!! It is in a GREAT & convenient location. Cute little restaurant/ coffee shops on the same block and only a 5 minute walk from BEAUTIFUL & CHARMING Old Town Los Gatos!

Leaving it!!! I wish I could have stayed longer!!! I will MOST DEFINITELY recommend it and I WILL BE BACK!

Room was large, with a comfortable desk chair. Good coffee and strong wi-fi. Great value for the location.

Staff was friendly, but a little confused. Upon check-in I tried to extend my stay by a night, but was told no rooms were available. After unpacking, I checked with Booking.com to get a room for the next night, and found one -- where I was already staying! It was a different room so I had to move the next morning. To avoid this hassle, I would have gladly taken that room upon check-in had I been offered it. ... The walls are too thin; I could hear my neighbor snore all night. ... The decor could use some modernization.

I loved the location and the entrance and parking area just steps from our room and the beautiful grounds and the cleanliness of the room and the housekeeping services. The bed was comfortable and the walk-in closet was spacious. The staff was very friendly and professional and responsive. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing.

They had a good variety of snack bars and other items in the lobby but I was hoping they would have had some other breakfast items which are offered by other hotels in the area, such as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk and juice.
