Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco Airport Oyster Point Waterfront

The greeting on arrival was fantastic. John was friendly and engaging and interested in us. We felt welcomed and valued. And to top things off, our room was ready a couple of hours before time and John went out of his way to check that this was possible. I also loved that the original baths had been maintained in a bath over show arrangement. This make the room feel very relaxed and comfortable. And last but not least was the free shuttle to the airport. This was so helpful.

In general I liked everything. The only small issue was a musty smell in one of the bedrooms but this was not a bit issue. The bedding was so clean and comfortable.

The staff was amazing, very helpful with information.. get a room with a view... worth it.. very quiet on a weekend.. not sure how it is during the week days.. mostly medical building (I think) barely any traffic in this particular area. Can walk around the water and felt very safe in this area..

Only thing would be .. they have a shuttle to the airport but doesn't start till 5 a.m. so if you have a super early flight you have to drive or urber.. but only about 10 min away...

A very large room (2 bedrooms and a living room) for 2 adults and three children. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped and includes everything. The hotel is close to the airport but a bit far from the center, the location is quiet and there is a beautiful view from the windows of the room

For some reason the rooms are not cleaned in this hotel, we stayed for 4 days and our room was not cleaned even once (we asked for the room to be cleaned). Bad breakfast.

Comfortable beds. Breakfast was simple & decent with eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, fruits, etc... location on the bay provided nice walks & jogs. It was a peaceful location, but not really close to restaurants if you are looking for some place to eat, however, it's not a far drive (1-1.5 miles away).

Didn't experience anything negative.

Friendly staff. convenient location near South San Francisco which has a surprisingly nice downtown and plenty of services and dining choices. Also close to SFO. Nice waterfront trail to walk on near hotel.

I was told there was a free airport shuttle and I made a reservation for a pick up. I went to confirm my pick up time and was told there was no shuttle available and no record of my reservation. The front desk attempted to figure out what went wrong but never got back to me . I had to make other arrangements to get to the airport. Very limited airport shuttle service only a few trips per day. Disorganized.

The staff was very helpful. They took precautions to ensure social distancing i.e. having a staff to pack breakfast items for clients. The airport shuttle was also useful in our case. We also enjoyed the walking trail right out of the hotel's backdoor. The room was clean and met all our needs (a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms).

It's a little bit far away from the Bar station but there's a shuttle.

It was sooo comfortable and the bathrooms in each room was great. The remodeled is beautiful too.

Found the shower to be a bit dirty, it had sand on the walls and curtains, like it was not cleaned . Along with some linens, I found strands of hair that were not mine.

The two bedroom suite was a comfortable size with a bathroom in each, three TVs, great shower pressure, very friendly staff, nice location for some quiet (about 15 minutes from downtown), good walking trail, kitchen with stocked supplies, and a full size fridge.

The fireplace didn't work, the breakfast only had a few options, pool and hot tub only fit a few people, and the location was very windy.

My husband loves the water and this location was just like the name said 'Waterfront'. He's not a person that usually enjoys walking outside but he probably walked a few miles around the walking trail daily.

People not cleaning up after their pets. This wasn't the hotel's fault but other guests.

Very spacious room, great for a family. Well equipped for cooking and dining. Great bay view. Friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast grab-n-go is ok, could be better. No cleaning during the stay although vacuum cleaning could be welcomed at least once. Location is not an issue if you have a vehicle - 20 minutes and you are in the city, we didn't check public transportation though. Also very close to the airport and any potential noise is not even heard.
