When you stay in a 2 star motel you can’t expect the same standard as the Hilton. Yes the exterior looks old, dated and worn. But the rooms were clean and functional (complete with fridge, microwave and coffee machine). The rooms are a good size and breakfast is provided between 7.00-10.00… how good is that! It is also very close to cafe/bars of Three Rivers and the entrance to Sequoia National Park
The place could do with a lick of paint but it had everything we needed

I would say there is almost nothing to complain about unless you are too picky, than choose super expensive We booked room for 3 people , was like entire apartment with kitchen and everything what you need for few days
If in the room cold and you can’t manage to turn on the heat just call staff The only thing smell of disinfection was pretty strong in the room

Despite other negative reviews, I have decided to judge by myself and booked this motel. I wasn’t disappointed. My room was good, big and very clean. The bed was super comfy, I slept like a baby. Not too sure why there are negative reviews to avoid this place. I would, on the contrary, recommend it! And it’s 12 mins drive from Sequoia Entrance.

I like the location, very quiet and beautiful view from the balcony. We rented a suite room with two bedrooms and 1 big bathroom. The suite has medium refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and a little kitchen with all supplies where we prepared our breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed to have a breakfast in a balcony with a beautiful view.
Walls and some furniture looks old, needs to remodel. By the way, there was no breakfast as I expected. Oatmeal, cereals, toast with a butter and jelly, little muffins and a coffee😕

Honestly I've been going up to sequoia at least 3 times a year for the past 3 years and I always stay here don't know if the guy in the office is the owner but he's really helpful and quick to solve any issues I personally believe location is great would definitely recommend
Place itself is great minor issues that I would point out is that maybe housekeeping can be a little more detailed when it comes to cleaning the rooms but overall it's nothing to discourage me from staying there again in the future

The place is very close to Sequoia national park and it's very cheap for such a location. I was a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews online but I didn't experience any inconveniences or discomfort. I really don't understand what people expect. Room was clean and nice the owner was also nice as much as he needed to be. I would definitely come back to Sierra Lodge

The location was good, very close to the park entrance and in proximity to restaurants and grocery stores. The room and bathroom were very clean.
The room had a sliding glass door which was translucent but the parking lot lights were shining through and made it difficult to sleep. The hotel had put only one short curtain which covered half of the door. Thankfully I had a bedsheet with me that I used to cover rest of the door. We brought this up to the manager and he was prompt in resolving the issue very next morning.

The place felt like home and it was great to return to after long hike in the park. Very quiet and calm and it was such a great place hang out especially the porch.
where did the wine opener go? We bought our own. But I think a group of people like to have a little wine at night. Otherwise --- everything was great. Maybe some napkins, aluminum foil and clear wrap? Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Catchup and mustard (condiments).

The breakfast was very basic. Toast, porridge packets, and packaged pastries along with sunny D, tea and coffee.
Through no fault of the lodge it would have been enjoyable to go walking . There is no shoulder on the road so it is very dangerous to venture onto it.

Great place and we came 1 minute before the end of the breakfast and we were still served! That’s a great customer service 🤍 also we have never got a cleaning service during staying before anywhere. But this hotel came to our room and cleaned it, we are so grateful for this🤍
