Rooms had pretty good space, especially between beds, which were pretty clean, nice bathroom, comfy beds. Breakfast in the mornings was simple but nice, especially the make your own fresh waffles. Generally an overall good stay. For being next to the freeway it was pretty quiet in the actual rooms.

The panel on the AC unit did not work in one of the rooms. it could've used at least another set of their mini shampoos/conditioners and mini bar soap.

The room exceeded my expectations and it was well put together. The fact it had two couch beds was really convenient and an unexpected bonus. The suites being completely inside as opposed to the other rooms also was great for the value.

The location of the hotel wasn't what I was expecting and I didn't like the area. The lobby was smaller than I was expecting and and a little empty and gave me a bad impression of the facilities which were much better.

It was nice and the location was good. Overall it was good and worked for what we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Large bathroom. AC worked great. Clean pool. Staff was friendly. Nice looking rooms, roomy and comfortable. Nice basic continental breakfast.

The floors in the rooms are tile or a laminate (not carpet). I felt like they were not swept or swept well. I took my shoes off and immediately felt gritty on the floor.

Everything was super clean. The staff was warm and friendly. They had a really nice pool and a great breakfast with a waffle bar and children’s shows on the TV. Very pet friendly. We felt safe staying there. Overall just a really pleasant experience. Upscale restaurants close by in San Marcos off of Via Vera Cruz and a ten minute drive to California’s best beaches at Tamarack and Lego Land.

The staff was very friendly and their desire was to ensure my stay was excellent. The A/C needed to be reset and the front desk came over right away. The front desk also reset my room keys after exposure to a magnet. The front desk warned me right away that the room would not be cleaned and new towels etc could be attained at anytime, which they were.

I didn't like the homeless people around, especially with a door that has direct exterior access. Although there was never a problem, it just created a bit of uncertainty. I would prefer more than one shampoo and soap since we were staying two nights.

The room was comfortable for the price and well kept. The bathtub/shower confused me a bit when I attempted to find a comfort temperature. Either I misused the knobs or the temperature shifted as time passed. I attempted to turn heat higher but reached a peak lukewarm, until I adjusted what I thought was the cold knob up and the temperature seemed to get warmer. May have been my confusion.

I was a bit disappointed with breakfast when i did not find any bread to toast. I wound up splitting a muffin and toasting it (and it was good), but that made aa bit of a mess.

The facilities were good, and basically clean (although there were some spots on the wall in the bathroom that need attention). Loved the coffee maker!

The young man at the check in desk delivered outstanding customer service with every encounter. He deserves a raise. The breakfast was very good, lots of options. It was a very pleasant experience.

I didn't like that there isn't a hot tub

We loved the very large suite with privacy doors to our room. We didn’t use the fold ouch couches but definitely convenient to have! we will be back! thanks for everything!

it would be great to have stairs or elevator more accessible to the King Suites

Close to freeway, food and activities.

Could use a little updating and no breakfast they gave out breakfast sacks with a muffin, piece of fruit and a Quaker granola bar other than the fruit not a great option for my wife who is a gluten free diabetic.
