the location is so perfect! you can see the mountains and the gondolas. the location is perfectly centered making it easy to walk to hot springs, food and shops. everywhere is really clean! the breakfast was always fresh and hot! they have so many choices for breakfast such waffle station with toppings, parfait stations, hot food station (eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes) with toppings (green Chile and shredded cheddar), cereal station and then two coffee/tea stations. they also had fresh fruit and muffins! every night at 7p they lit the fire pits all over the property. the pool, hot tub and kiddie pool always stayed clean and well maintained. the staff is super friendly! our room stayed clean and any time we needed towels we were able to get them. overall I’d go back here a thousand times!

Bed was good, breakfast was good, pool area great. You could tell employees cared about the customers and had pride in their facility. Nice property with several surprise places to hang out (tables outside rooms, pool, covered hot tub, camp fire rings, lobby). A little off the beaten track but so convenient to the surrounding tourist stops.

The rooms could use a decorative update. This was the reason for the value deduction. The theme of the place was excellent; it might be time to update the interior room decor that goes with the theme. (wallpaper/curtains/lighting). I love this series of Great Westerns and hope they keep them going. So nice how they are complementary and reflect the surrounding environment. (this is the longest review I have ever done!!)

From the staff to the guests, everyone was extremely nice and friendly! The location was perfect with a 10 min walk to the town, and a shorter walk to the park close to the river! The grounds were beautiful and well kept. It was spacious with different activities. Since it was spread out, it didn't feel crowded; there were plenty of peaceful areas to sit and relax! The breakfast was was yummy with lots of options.

There's not a whole lot to complain about, but if I had to... The breakfast could last later, so the guests can sleep in and still enjoy breakfast. The stairs to the rooms upstairs seem a bit old and rickety. The air conditioner could be updated.

We stayed for 3 nights for a family trip. This property had breakfast every morning which my kids loved. Having pool and swing set right across from our room made traveling with 3 kids a breeze. There was also another playground at the main entrance of the property with a volleyball net and corn hole.

The fan in my room was super loud woke me up a couple times the first night but over all slept well in the beds. I turned it off the rest of the nights and cracked the window and it stayed pretty cool however we stayed early September

Breakfast time window was great for getting food before or after a morning hike. The staff was incredibly friendly. A quiet room and guests. Clean grounds. Close to iron mountain hot springs, whitewater rafting llc, town for eating and shopping and Qdoba for a quick hearty bite. Easy access I-70 for farther out excursions and target 🎯. Like the window in the bathroom, and having a fridge and microwave.

Need to update the pillows and pillowcases. They are a bit rundown, same with the bath towels.

This is our second time staying here! It's location is perfect. Just a short walk to downtown, the Hot Springs pool, Vapor caves ,river walking trail and Adventure park gondolas. We love the indoor hot tub which they keep open till 10pm or a little longer if you ask and they have a few gas fire pits with chairs to relax after a long day of walking and exploring. Also the free breakfast till 9:30am is great. The staff are super nice and accommodating. We'll be back in July with our family and we'll definitely be staying here!! Thank you for another great stay!

Everything was wonderful! No complaints!!

We stay here every time we go to Glenwood Springs! The staff is always so accommodating, we love the Elks Lodge and they always grant our request to stay there. the location is great, easy access to all areas of the Springs. The rooms are clean, plenty of counter space in the bathroom, comfortable, and fits our needs just perfectly! We love sitting around the fire pits after a good soaking at the Iron Mountain, and Jen was on top of lighting them when we asked! The breakfast is always amazing and just what you need to get your day going!

We thought it was really cool that we could book a room with three queen beds! The grounds were really beautiful and there were lots of activities, including pickle ball and bikes you could borrow. We enjoyed the fire pits and picnic areas, too. It was walking distance to the hot springs pool, the gondola to the adventure park, and local shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area was lovely and had plenty of seating. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was a large selection. Three fire pits. Very dog friendly. Reception extremely friendly, except the end. There was no exception to late checkout and my mom was having altitude sickness, so they were 20 stars with customer service until that. Especially when I approached the two women and had to wait for them to finish their conversation with each other to address me. But if that’s a strict policy, I wouldn’t blame staff, and have management review for exceptions for sick elderly.

The hotel has an enclosed courtyard area with green space, a swimming pool, a pickle ball court, and even fire pits to roast marshmallows at night. Located only 1/4 mile from the Glenwood caverns parking an check in area. Large lobby and lots of room to eat the free breakfast. Nice set up and nice staff.

Towels were still damp, their drier was not working properly but that is fixable and should not be a persistent problem.
