Hotel Glenwood Springs

Petal at the front desk was very helpful. There is a nice pool/hot tub area great for families with young kids. The facility is not new, but it was exceptionally clean. Located right beside the gondola for Glenwood Caverns Adventure Center. Family Game Center and laundry facility in the basement were a nice touch.

The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. They only served basic pastries, heat and serve oatmeal, bananas that were usually black

Very Good, family friendly, handy breakfast, excellent stasis interactions - Chase was particularly helpful! Location was great with discount to the Adventure Park.

Beds were not comfortable, the standard 2 Queen rooms were small, I never did figure out how to reserve a suite which would have been much better for us, breakfast choices very heavy on sweets-there should have been at least one protein selection.

upon walking in my grandkids said, this is the nicest hotel we have ever been to. the room was very nice & clean. very convenient to walk across the parking lot & get on the gondolas. adventure park at top of hill was thrilling for the kids. i bought the tickets on my phone using the hotel stay 10% off once I got here. river right behind, very convenient location. indoor waterpark was the biggest hit for the kids. we could have by passed the rafting & they would have still been happy. ages 7, 10, 12. altho, our 12 yo thrill seeker had a blast at the park & rafting. in the rm there is frig, micro, coffee pot, ac/heat wall unit. not very loud, i need for sleeping.

i did not like the beds at all. super springy & bouncy. the head seemed lower. if i tried to sit up against pillows my butt sank in a hole. slept on floor first night. miserable. the only bedside table was in between the 2 beds. nothing for me on the other side to sit my coffee or phone. metal bedframe sticking out on side. i could have been seriously hurt. couldn’t fit chair in there to use for table. i had to reconstruct it all myself. fix the frame & mattress, put a lounge chair foam pad on my side that i had in car, push bed over & fit the chair in between the wall & bed

Our stay at the hotel met our expectations with the accommodations your staff provided. Along with their friendly attitude. Our only other concern was that a gondola lift would fall while passing underneath.

In our room there was one chair. The continental breakfast served during our stay more then met our expectations providing us with a convenient area to congregate and dine. However, it was lacking a variety of hot food items that common hotel patrons have come to expect in light of rising rates in travel and recreation.

Staff was friendly and polite. Hotel room was clean. Pool area was well maintained and genuinely enjoyable. Beds were comfortable, and the room came with a mini fridge and microwave. Located right next to the gondola to the adventure park and they give you a 10% discount on the park and a lovely hot spring.

Limited breakfast selection. Only a one person bathroom on the lobby floor, and while the website warns you that check in is at 4 pm, I think that is really rather late.

The Lady at check in couldn't find our booking.com reservation, but managed to get us a room a cheaper price. Very friendly staff. The pool is not for swimming but still fun for the family and kept at warm temperatures. The room was bigger than most hotel rooms with two queen beds. Plenty of room to stretch out and clean.

The Hallways were dirty, but could have been from people using throughout the day. The breakfast was not satisfying with not much available. The pump for the water slide is loud and after an hour is deafening.

Rooms were quiet even though it's a very family-friendly destination and hotel. Many young children, but in your room you wouldn't know that. Friendly staff. My grandson LOVED the indoor pool. Coffee was pretty good! Refrigerator in the room was nice. While not in downtown area, it's an easy walk over there and over the pedestrian bridge. Sidewalks and cross walks the whole way.

I believe on the booking. com site, it says due to Covid, breakfast is limited. This would actually make sense if there were covid restrictions. Thankfully, most people are over the masks/social distancing so not having a decent breakfast makes it more like they just don't want to pay for the food since it's complimentary. Not ONE thing with protein. Just pre-packaged pastries and some cereal, milk, juice, coffee. The breakfast part (especially saying it's covid) is pretty lame.

It felt very safe! Love the close location to Sunlight Mountain and the downtown scene. It was awesome having such a large dresser and closet to settle into. The pool area was comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub. It was very warm and relaxing. The waterside and basketball hoop was a nice addition. We got the biggest kick out of the mini lazy river. The pool area reminded us of a miniature "Great Wolf Lodge" water park! We were staying with dogs and the hotel was very accommodating. The maintenance workers were fantastic with keeping the grounds free of animal droppings. We actually had grass for the dogs to walk in out back. The grab and go breakfast was great! The menu was various Cereals, Muffins, Danish, Apples, Bananas, Oranges, Coffee, Tea, Hot Cocoa, Orange Juice, Grape Juice, Milk, assorted flavors of Instant Quaker Oatmeal. There was also a nice selection in the vending machines. Since we stayed more than 3 nights we recieved a coupon for a free 5 topping or specialty large Pizza from Domino's and a list of board games to borrow from the resort for a game night. We really had a wonderful stay!

The pool got crowded and loud with screeching children. They were running around and jumping in and out the hot tub.

Love the location. Have been here several times. This time we had a bigger room with a view of the front and liked the set up of this room.

The hotel could use an update. It would be nice if there was an additional chair in the room. The bath tub/shower is so-so, kinda icky to use a shower curtain. The floor of tub isn’t very slip proof. Our last stay, while washing his feet, my husband slipped and fell out of the tub (6 months after having major back surgery) luckily, he was not hurt but the tubs do get slippery.

Overall a great hotel! The staff was amazing the beginning of check in, which was fantastic! Our room was super clean and bathrooms were very clean, the pool was fantastic for our 4 yearold and 6 month old, both really enjoy the pool, it was also super clean! Breakfast was amazing! My toddler loved the lights! And we will return!

The beds and pillows were terrible. We paid the same price at comfort inn and they had extremely comfortable beds and pillows. That is the only thing we would change.
