The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was great each morning, fresh, well stocked Helen was amazing she works so hard to please and ensure you have everything you need. The room was nice, I wish there was more light over the kitchenette area, it was dark. The Roman shade in the room did not roll up, must have been broken, we we manually rolled it and stuffed it up in the window tracks to keep it there. The fridge needed to be defrosted, there was huge frost in the freeze, we couldn't even use it. The pool and hot tub were nice, we swam during the day and had the whole area to ourselves. We'd definitely stay there again.

Freezer needed to be defrosted in the room, Roman shade needed to be fixed

Helen was fantastic to see in the morning! She definitely was a morning person and loved her job.

You need to invest in new washcloths! They were so thin you could see through them. We stayed at holiday inn express in Pueblo Colorado. Otherwise everything was fantastic!

Your staff member Helen serving breakfast went above and beyond. She is a TRUE treasure. She was so friendly and helpful. We were there for 3 nights and we ate at the hotel all 3 days just because of the service from Helen. Over all staff members very nice.

Can’t think of anything bad.

Breakfast area was spacious and clean, and the food and beverage options were plenty (both hot and cold options for food and bev).

Not really a property issues, but on my second nights' stay there was a baby that cried from 10pm to about 2am (or at least until i was able to fall asleep).

they accept dogs and I was awakened a few times a by a single bark each time - most likely to have a dog go out. I am a dog lover and am happy that they accept dogs - But I didn't need to be awakened by them. I didn't like the 3rd party pay - I wanted another night but that never happened cause the 3rd party payer never followed through

Very Clean and comfortable. Staff was also AMAZING, they were always welcoming and smiling and took care of what we needed. The lady that runs the breakfast area is one of the best people I have met in a long time, she is truly amazing person to meet.

The only thing I would say is I wish the pool stayed open all the time or at least longer.

Breakfast was terrible. There wasn’t any staff to replenish the hot food. No coffee. I asked someone to get more coffee and when they did it had coffee grinds in it!! Then there were NO scrambled eggs at all. By the time I found another staff member to get more, they said the cook was working on it. Well I had to leave to drive to Colorado Springs airport. So basically a hard bagel and coffee with grinds for breakfast. I realize it is difficult to get workers, it someone needs to figure this out.

The breakfast

This hotel is nicely located. There’s a small mall with a Barnes & Nobel bookstore within walking distance and a Cracker Barrel restaurant, my road trip standby, slightly further afield. That said, there was a fire scare as I was about to leave. The staff were wonderful at getting the gusts out of the hotel then thinking to provide blankets for those guests who were literally chivvied out of their beds and into a cold, cold Colorado morning.

Nice big parking lot. Hotel was clean, breakfast was very good. I used the business center to do homework so that was a nice option.

The elevator was pretty slow

Location was convenient for us. Beds were comfortable.

The floor plan was terrible. The room was narrow and crowded. Door separating sleeping area and sitting area had to be propped open so air conditioning could reach seating area. Bathroom door blocked walking area when opened. Crowded space best description of the room. Three of us always moving to let someone pass by.
