In January 2022, we traveled from Maine to Florida and back again, and on our way back to Maine, we stayed at this hotel in Dover, DE and I have to say that we received the BEST treatment from the staff than anywhere else on the East coast!! They were the friendliest people, from the check in to the restaurant where we had a lovely dinner. We considered going to the Outback for dinner, but they promised us a wonderful dinner at the hotel, which was perfect since our group didn't want to get back in the car, after driving all day. The dinner didn't disappoint! It was delicious and went well with a nice glass of wine! A perfect ending to a long day. We all felt so welcomed here and that is very important to weary travelers!! I would definitely stay here again!!

the hotel was clean, staff was very friendly

i paid for a breakfast meal for 4 people, we were able to have either the sit down meal or the continental breakfast. We ordered the sit down meal, then was told we would have to pay extra for anything on the continental breakfast items. I think if you pay for a breakfast, you should be able to have whatever they offer for breakfast.

Staff was very helpful. My son ended up in the hospital in the middle of our stay and we didn’t get to even spend the second night at the hotel or enjoy the breakfast either morning. They offered a later checkout because I wasn’t when he would be released. I wish I could have enjoyed the hotel more but stuff happens.

I got a decent rate because I booked early but the rates are so high for the area . I understand supply and demand but NYC rates in Dover seems crazy. Need more hotels need the Frederica turf fields! Please another hotel closer !!

$25 fee that was not advertised/listed. Hotel authorizes a $25 in the event that the room was left unkept or if clients smoked in the room. I didn’t see this fee listed on booking.com. Nonetheless, charge was returned in 3 days.

The customer service was excellent. Because the weather was potentially bad to travel home at check-out time, they allowed me an extra hour to check-out so that I could travel safely.

How spacious the Suites was. Also how clean and comfortable it was.

The room over top of us. Had children running around and whatever else they were doing. We heard everything. That was the only negative thing.
