Boardwalk Plaza Hotel

The property was fabulous! Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly during our entire stay. The Location can’t be beat!!! My husband and I took our 2 year old and 1 year old. We stayed in the double standard room without a view because it was the only room available last minute in our price range. The room was perfectly fine and comfy! We had enough room for all of our stuff and the travel crib. It was tight but workable!

The hot water in shower is sporadic, ranging from luke warm to burning hot every 30 seconds. I had read about this issue on other reviews, but it wasn’t that important to me on this short trip. But if I was staying here longer I would’ve been irritated. On more minor side, I also didn’t like how the air conditioner made a loud knock sound everyone it turned on and off. One other small thing that would be an improvement for families is to offer some kids portion sizes on the breakfast options. I should note that I did not raise any concerns with the hotel during my stay or ask them to rectify it. Everything else here was top notch!!

I love the aviance and decor. It felt like you were transported back a few hundred years. The room was exceptional with a view of the ocean right from your bed.

What I didn't like is minor. We had ordered breakfast in our room to be delivered 8:30. By 9am still no breakfast. Called the kitchen to see what the problem was and was told they never received our card which we hung on the door that evening. I looked to see if it was still there but is was not. Don't know what happened. The staff was apologetic. Hey things happen. This will not deter us from returning for another stay.

We've stayed here four or five times. Can't beat the location and convenience to the beach. We always book the adults-only concierge floor. Exceptionally clean, great service and ambiance. Lots of nice extra touches which take the stress out of traveling. We always think of staying somewhere else and then we come back!

A few of the jets in one of the hot tubs weren't working, but there were other hot tubs to choose from. It was a minor thing!

It's a hotel that feels more like a big Bed n Breakfast. It has style and warmth -- and parrots! Lots of parrots!!! We loved the pool, that becomes a giant hot tub after 8pm and is open to adults only. The rooms are in a Victorian style that matches the theme of the entire property. It was everything we were hoping it would be. We loved having an ocean front room that allowed us to leave the sliding door to our balcony open all night and sleep to the sound of the mighty Atlantic ocean waves.

Both of us thought that the mattress was a little hard for our tastes and really enjoyed getting into our own bed when returning home after a week of sleeping on their bed. We also thought the breakfasts were uninspired, so much so, that we ate all of our other meals off-property for lunch/dinner.

LOVED the atmosphere & all the details they put into their Hotel. Friendly staff- prompt help from the staff. We had the conceirge level, we will most definitely do this every year! Loved the roof top.

Parking was a bit of a mess. There is 1 spot per room available & we were a group of women that could not all travel in 2 cars (we got 2 rooms) . We were directed to get a permit- which we did.. but then couldn’t find parking where permit was permitted & on top of paying for a permit, got tickets. More guidance for parking perhaps?

This place is wonderful. Me and my lady came to Rehoboth the passed 2 days on a spontaneous drive from Eastern shore md. The location is unbeatable and the shops are so close that the walk seems almost too quick. Love this place and the staff working here are outstanding. The rooms are great we had 214 so the waves are visible from laying in bed.

I didn't like how short our stay had to be lol. This place is perfect. 5 stars.

Very quaint decor and staff was friendly and professional. The view from the oceanfront room was amazing. The beds were comfortable, we really loved the robes, and the indoor pool was nice. We had a good breakfast one morning and our server was wonderful, very friendly and cheerful. Overall, a nice place to stay right on the boardwalk.

The room needed some upgrades. The carpets were very worn and stained and the chair cushions in the sitting area were the same. The towels were old and scratchy. They were supposed to be white, but all of our towels, bath and hand towels, were yellowed or grey. And the water in the shower constantly changed from burning hot to cool no matter the time of day. The indoor "hot tub" was not really hot. The water was lukewarm.

I have one complaint over an otherwise great weekend We come specifically because you have a hot tub. We love it. The last two visits the hot tub was lukewarm at best. I understand you can't have it hot but this was really NOT a hot tub. Both times we were told the on staff personnel don't have access to temp controls?? As nice as our weekends have been We need to take this into consideration because that is one of the main reasons we come. Does the one on the roof have local temp controls??

The staff is awesome Victoria's meals are top shelf Crab soup is the best we have had The overall feel of the hotel is very cozy

I like the new room look without a (bedspread) Plenty towels…extra clean…all of the pillows were great as well…

You did everything great no negative words from us…we ate two meals Surf & Turf and Lamb chops…both with the most delicious mash potatoes we have ever had…A thank you to your Chef and staff…we had a cup of Beef Vegetable and we were able to eat our desserts which we could not the night before…Crème Brûlée E X C E L L A N T ROOMS.STAFF.FOOD.AMENITIES.BIRDS

Boardwalk Plaza Hotel was excellent! We had an ocean front room for our 31st Wedding Anniversary, the view was amazing. Service was awesome and the staff very friendly. They even surprised us with a Charterie Platter (cheese, cracker and fruit platter) with a bottle of wine. Victoria's restaurant downstairs from the hotel had awesome food. The waitress we had for breakfast was a delight(Lisa)! Shopping and food all within walking distance. Location was the best.. nothing like waking up to hearing and seeing the ocean roaring and the sun rising up whilst from your bed..We will return for another stay!

I do believe the price was a lil steep, but I booked last minute.
