Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rehoboth Beach

great breakfast, friendly staff, convenient to shopping although not in town

No one told us about Marriott’s new policy to provide maid service unless requested the night before so we did not get any replenishment of towels etc. We managed, but it needs to be a part of the information provided upon check in.

Hotel was clean. If we were there for shopping the hotel is in the middle of several malls. If we were there for business it was a good deal. Breakfast was a business mans breakfast. Bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice. Coffee all day long. Rehoboth had some decent and fair priced restaurants/bars/dinners.

Hotel is to far from beach. Parking at beach is hard to find and expensive. Rehoboth is a Hollywood studio version of a real N.J. shore town. No small business or history feeling at all, but it is clean. Despite no sales tax, prices in malls and stores higher than A.C. or other N.J. places I've been. Everything closed on Wednesdays.

love the style, and the set up. love how down stairs there is a personable space that you and a good few can have some drinks at the bar. also love the back patio area. the pool was a little bit on the cold side but that’s expected when your in April! but it was indoor, and the towels were warmed. now let’s talk BREAKFAST! okay first I would like to say THANK YOU, to the staff! It’s hard keeping up with people in and out, and STILL be able to do their work in full capacity, I’m here for it! NOW, this is by far the BEST hotel breakfast buffet I’ve have ever had… I will do a better and in depth version of this review on the main page.

The only thing was the pricing, BUT your get what you paid for AND MORE. It was a little bit expensive for the month of April but the quality, quantity and over all satisfaction they provide out weighs the monetary issue.

After an 8 hr drive I selected a higher rated hotel and was not disappointed. a comfortable bed, lots of thick towels, lights with bulbs above 40 w to work by, a HVAC that actually heated the room the lobby was very inviting with seating arrangements and access to the deck i enjoyed my stay so much i booked a second night but that turned out poorly

there was no info in the room for the times breakfast was offered, i had to call the desk for the times A plan of the hotel would have explained where the gym was located and that there was a bar in the lower level! Could not find a water fountain but the desk manager unlocked the breakfast drink machine so i could fill my water bottle........very nice

Nice location, short drive to the beach. Breakfast had a good selection. I like that they had coffee and tea available in the lobby all day. Staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Ample parking.

Minor housekeeping issues- old used towel left in the bathroom from previous guests. Upon check-in there was not enough towels for 4 guests. Also I think helpful to have an extra roll of toilet paper in the room especially if not starting with 2 new/full rolls.

Place was very clean staff that I encountered were pleasant. Breakfast looked good and plenty of selection even tho I didn’t eat any by choice. Overall a nice stay for the night. Will definitely be back.

The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I hoped for. Also I was on the ground floor near the back exit door. Some kids were playing hide and seek in the hall for a while. It didn’t last too long so I didn’t make a complaint. Overall not much bad I can say.

We found the hotel to be well maintained and very clean. They offer a complimentary breakfast with a nice selection of hot and cold foods. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Donna at the front desk suggested several restaurants that were all winners. The hotel is a short drive to the beach.

I would suggest slow close toilet seats especially if your used to them at home.

We were traveling using multiple Fairfield’s due to family illness and funeral. A family of 4 traveling Christmas Eve and the 2 weeks prior. Everyone was satisfied with the breakfast., size of room , cleanliness. The staff was terrific , super friendly and helpful considering they were working Christmas Eve and Day and they did well with Covid precautions.

Beds not nearly as comfortable as the other Fairfield’s we stayed at. Even the 25 year olds commented on them not being comfortable, too hard. No one had a good nights sleep. We all agreed the Fairfield in Huntingdon Pa had the absolute best hotel beds we have ever slept in,( hubby and I even voted it a close second to our sleep number bed!)so this location had a high bar to reach.

The staff-Randy the manager and then Ms.Carol who does the breakfast, they are truly wonderful people. Randy is always so polite and ready to help in any situation. Ms.Carol when she brings out to restock the coffee or food is always pleasant with a smile on her face and is a great conversationalist. It makes me happy knowing when I go there,I know the staff by name because they are so memorable.

The price on booking.com I was in a group that stayed with the hotel and I didn't get the discounted price because I used booking.com

The staff was friendly and nice the whole hotel and rooms were clean. They actually had real breakfast as promised and was delicious. The location is good, has plenty of stores and restaurants. And is close to all the areas work.

Bed was a little hard. The ac/heat unit squeaked pretty loud. Was told it was new parts and that it would quiet up. They don't have the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms like normal (because of covid) which are very useful for someone that has long or thick hair
