The location is fantastic, two minutes walk from the beach. The apartment was clean. we took advantage of the bikes to cycle around Amelia Island which was really nice.

It was a little noisy at times and the inclusive breakfast was disappointing. We had to pay an additional resort fee which didn’t feel like value for money.

Loved the proximity to the beach! Walking distance and chairs and wagons were provided with the resort fee. Clean, updated rugless room! Small bathroom , but there is wonderful water pressure and a hot shower! Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Hot and cold foods provided. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Pet friendly for a one-time fee regardless of length of stay! And there was no jive talking about being "pet friendly" but then denying cat or other creature access on arrival! Spacious pool that is very well maintained. Clean and inviting! The spa area is small, but my husband enjoyed the hot tub! We had to adjust our visit due to weather circumstances, and we were very grateful that fees were waived ! All and all a very nice space to the price point and location !

The outside of the building could definitely use an update! Very unattractive and a paint job would help! There were really insufficient rules at the pool regarding children. I understand it is a family-friendly "resort," but the jumping in and out, football throwing in the water while people were trying to relax and swim, was quite annoying! Water "toys" and such should be dis allowed for everyone's safety and comfort. The spa area was small, and it was frequently in use by people with very small kids swimming in the hot tub! Seems an age restriction would be appropriate! A small coffee pot in the room would be nice!

Fabulous location near the beach. Updated room that was very comfortable. Small bathroom, but clean and water was hot. The pool was clean and inviting. Breakfast options were plentiful and very well presented. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The resort fees are very reasonable considering the amenities. It was lovely to have our cat welcomed with a one-time pet fee for the entire stay.

The pool was very crowded on the weekend, and lots of kids in the pool who were throwing a football while adults were trying to swim. VERY VERY loud party atmosphere/ music at the pool that we could hear in our room past 10 pm, although signs indicated the pool and spa closed at 10 pm! The outside of the structures can use some repair and updating.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of food and a great variety. Pool was clean and big. There were plentiful pool chairs which was a bonus! The hammocks were dreamy. Beds were clean, warm, and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and very well stocked. The bath and body works products were a nice touch. Everyone was kind and helpful! I will be back!

The floor in my room was dirty. We dripped pool water from swimsuits and I mopped it up with a towel so we didn’t slip. The towel was black when I finished. The floors didn’t appear dirty at all. They looked and felt very clean in fact. They just needed a a good mop! Nothing else was dirty. Everything else looked very clean. I wish there were pool towels in the pool areas so we didn’t use up our room towels! Still…I’d stay again.

Folks I could actually write a book on our Family stay at the Ocean Coast Hotel.We had a Truly Amazing stay that was very satisfying beyond words for our Family ! Everything and Everyone from the Staff to the Guests treated us with the utmost Respect and Great Hospitality that made us feel so warm and Welcoming ! No it’s Not the Ritz or a Luxury Resort but it made us feel like we were at very special place ! Everything from the Location to the Amenities and the Breakfast was Very Nice and Pleasing for us ! It’s All on what YOU make of it ! I just want to say a Big Thank you to the Staff and the Guests for Everything!! Don’t debate about it just do it and Treat yourself Folks !

For Us there wasn’t Anything to Not Like ! The only thing I could notice was that the AC motor at night can be a bit loud .

Breakfast selections were excellent. Biscuits and (real sausage!) gravy, bagels, waffles, cold cereal, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit. Enough variety for a different breakfast selection each of a multi-day stay. The room is spacious and accommodating; comfortable bed. Access to the beach is just a couple of blocks away. Families loved the on premise swimming pool! Loved the free parking close to the room!

We had to make an early departure at 6:45 a.m. The door was locked - and the attendant at the desk refused us entry into the lobby. We had to squeeze our room keys under the door just to prove we checked out.

Large property. Close to the beach and several restaurants.

The ice machine was barely working. There are not many vending machines for the size of the property. Pool closed earlier than I would have expected. The room we booked was the same size and configuration as cheaper rooms and had we known that we would have went with the cheaper option and gotten a better deal. Another member of our party booked a room at the same time and got a much nicer room for the same price as we paid and they had a full kitchen, ours had a non working fridge and microwave that was new in the 80’s.

Close to the beach and had a very nice pool.

Nothing

This property is only a short walking distance from the beach and has lots of amenities! They provided wagons and beach chairs. They have a pool with a dj as well as a bar. There’s a couple of restaurants on site. If there’s a rainy day, the property has games you can play. There’s a game room with pool tables and all. Our kiddos enjoyed the movies in the pool at night. They played great movies too! Oh! And we learned the chair in our room is actually a pullout bed as well! The services was fantastic! Would highly recommend for families with kids!

The only thing we didn’t really like too much was the floors in our room made our feet BLACK. Also, there weren’t outlets near the beds to charge our devices. There were some in the room of course just none easily accessible near the bed.

Very close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Short drive to Old Town. Breakfast was provided in a nice breakfast room. Our hotel room was on the first floor.

Artificial sweeteners were not provided at the coffee station in the breakfast room. Our room was listed as a Disability Access room. While we appreciated it being on the 1st floor, and there were designated parking spaces, the accessibility was not much else. There was one grab bar in the shower. I would have felt safer with additional grab bars in the shower and a grab bar by the toilet. This room worked for us, as I primarily use a cane, but it would not have worked if I were a wheelchair user.
