The room and access to the beach deserve high ratings. The free breakfast was average to slightly above average, but not among the best "continental" breakfasts I've enjoyed at hotels over the years. The attendant who was overseeing the breakfast area was extremely courteous.

I realize this is not a policy unique to this hotel. However, I did not like the small sign in the bathroom indicating that towels appearing to be unused might be left there for the next guest to help "save the planet". I support common sense environmentally friendly policies, but cleanliness is a "must"-especially clean towels and linens.

After several room accommodations were met (lack of hangars, sheets, blankets, pillows, towels; sofa bed issues) our stay was very pleasant. the Inn is immaculate, the room adequate (but small), but the ocean view suite has a spectacular windows ocean view. The rooftop with tables/chairs overlooking the ocean is terrific. The staff, especially the breakfast chef and help, were exceptionally pleasant, helpful and courteous. The location is convenient (feet from the beach) and to downtown and mall shopping. We would return to the Inn and also recommend it to others. Toni Vogt Boca Raton, Fla. 33433

It is the perfect location! Our room had a beautiful view down the coast and you are in walking distance of several restaurants. It was so convenient to just walk out of the hotel onto the beach. The pricing was excellent for our room and I appreciated that our suite had a small living room area. It wasn’t a super fancy hotel, but it was clean and welcoming! The staff was extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay as well. Breakfast was always a good spread too with several options to choose from each morning. Plenty of parking was also available in both the backside of the hotel, as well as a shared parking garage below.

The pool was maybe a little on the small side, but with the ocean that close, it wasn’t a concern. It was clean nonetheless.

The room was clean when we arrived and the staff very nice. The coffee and breakfasts were very good and kept hot. Great beginning to your day. This was a very convenient location to the beach and some sites to see. State parks were easy driving to. We had a great view of beautiful sunsets. The room was a good size for the two of us.

We were there 3 nights and housekeeping never came to make the bed or empty the only wastebasket that was in the bathroom. Our first evening,we had to go ask for a roll of toilet paper, and a bar of soap. The only other thing was the balcony was very small and only had two small plastic chairs that were not clean.

WE ONLY STAYED FOR A NIGHT, WE WILL GO BACK AND SPEND A WEEKEND. THE ROOMS ARE ADEQUATE BUT ON THE SMALLER SIDE. BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED WHICH WAS GOOD. THE RESTAURANT IN FRONT OF IT WAS A GREAT FEATURE TO BE SO CLOSE TO ROOMS AND BEACH. I ALSO LIKE THE SMALL AREA ON THE ROOF TO JUST SIT AND RELAX. WE USUALLY TRAVEL IN A GROUP OF 15+ TO THE BEACH, I DONT THINK THIS IS A PLACE FOR THAT HOWEVER A NICE GETAWAY FOR A COUPLE OR SMALLER GROUP WOULD BE GREAT.

Not that I dint like it just seem to be a bit pricey for that time of year, but it could be the area because I noticed that they were all little high in the same level of stay.

The location is wonderful, right on the beach! Feet washing station and a sea shell washing area too. The area for breakfast is very convenient and arranged nicely. The breakfast and drinks were replenished often. There was a selection of juices, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, bagels, and regular hot breakfast items. It was decorated nicely and all surfaces looked very clean. The lobby, hallways, parking lot, pool and walkways were very clean! The beach was great with soft and clean sand. They offer chairs, umbrellas, and towels if you need them. The bed and pillows were comfortable with nice bedding. The living room area was arranged nicely which included a desk. We had a large view of the ocean which was from the side of the building but still very nice. It was great to have the Sandbar restaurant on site with excellent food, entertainment and service! We enjoyed the board walk at the park next to the hotel. Next time we’ll play putt-putt golf.

The microwave didn’t work. Tried plugging it in another outlet bit didn’t help. There were sticky finger prints on the windows and wardrobe cabinet. The refrigerator door was sticky. We found the bedroom remote under the bed along with someone’s glasses. The room noise is quiet except our room was across from the elevator and we heard the loud beeps consistently starting early in the morning. If it wasn’t for the loud dinging our stay would have been more relaxing since it woke us up around 5-6am. We’d like to return—hopefully our room won’t be by the elevator.

Location was great right on the beach and next to a good restaurant, The front desk people were extremely helpful, especially the fellow on duty when we checked in and had problems with the television. Breakfast was fairly good but the main staff person was out the second day so the area was not replenished as efficiently as when she was there.

The refrigerator in our room needs defrosting before your busy season starts. The bathroom shower dispenser needed a refill of the body wash and shampoo.

The location on the beach is great with good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good. The hotel was very accommodating moving us from a balcony room with a fair view to an exceptional view. Good running and hiking areas are right at the hotel. Brittany at the front desk, who was also there when we stayed last year, was very warm and welcoming. Egan Creek, within short walking distance, is an excellent place for experiencing a more wild side of the island, with plenty of birds, turtles, and some alligators clearly visible from the beautiful trails.

The first night, the room we stayed in had a balcony, but an extremely limited view of the ocean (fortunately the hotel moved us to a room with a superior view as one became available). One lady at the front desk was polite but distant, she didn't project a warm welcome. A few aspects of the hotel need updating but the recently remodeled areas are great. We missed Grady at the breakfast bar (he was an excellent asset to the breakfast service last year but apparently left shortly before our visit this year). Wi-Fi in our room was unusable due to extremely weak signal in half the room and no signal in the remainder, fortunately we had brought a wireless hotspot along. Neither TV had accessible HDMI ports, so we were unable to use our Firestick.

Location was great! Staff interactions were all positive. Everyone was very kind and tried to help with each request. Loved the modern, coastal decor and the property felt safe. Nice feel overall.

The WIFI service was a bit disappointing. Did not have access the first day, but on the positive side, the next morning’s WIFI service was great! My room was a lot smaller than expected, and felt pricey for the size, but was fine for a single for one night and was a nice room. My only other nit picky things would be pertaining to a couple of small details: there were no paper coffee cups in the room for use with the Keurig coffee maker & a few surfaces in the room did not appear to have been dusted/wiped thoroughly. But, that being said, otherwise, the room looked and felt great!

The friendliness of the staff is the first thing I noticed, then the cleanliness of the facility. Location was perfect for beach goers. Having a nice breakfast was a good start to every day.

We did not have access to Wi-Fi for the first 3 days and the phone in our room did not work, so we had no way to call the front desk for issues such as clean towels or trash pickup. The pool was not inviting at all, but the wife and I were there for the beach. It would have been an issue if our kids were with us, as they are more about the pool.
