Family oriented; your kids will love the Mermaids and Pirates! Every room has ocean view and a balcony. Full size fridge and dining table. Quiet, good A/C, comfortable beds. Happy to get the new hot breakfast that included sausage, eggs, etc. as I had read reviews from earlier this year saying the breakfast did not include meats. Love the pool with waterfall and shaded area for when the temps soar. Convenient parking. Really like this location; convenient to popular eateries but out of the major congestion.

Our stay could probably not have been better. ALL the staff were upbeat, friendly and helpful. When we checked out on the weekend, I think the hotel was fully booked. Line for breakfast was long and an elevator was out-of-service but I understand such things happen.

This hotel was definitely not what I expected from a Days Inn; it far exceeded my expectations!! The location and convenience to the beach are excellent!! We liked the pool and activities planned for families with children. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. The staff was very friendly!! The continental breakfast was nice as well!!

There were a few maintenance issues that we noticed. The ice machine was not working the majority of our stay. The outlet at the sink vanity in our room didn’t work, but I opted to have them change it after we checked out and wouldn’t have wanted to switch rooms, so we just dealt with it by using a different outlet.. no big deal. The hot water was out during high use times. One of our doors had a broken safety latch.

We had a bottom floor, which was the best because we were just steps from the beach and didn't have to worry about using the elevator to get to our car, the beach or the pool. Great view even from the bottom floor. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Great place for families or couples. The pirate show and mermaids made my grandson's day. Movi÷s at night at the pool were a good way to wind down. Bar was reasonable and bartender was really nice. Made my grandson a non alcoholic version of a drink so he thought that was great.

Room could have had a dresser to help put things away, but it was ok. A little more variety at breakfast would have been nice. Some yogurt and cereal. A cover at the smoking area would have been nice at the edge of the beach.

Beach access and nearby food and activities. Guest service was quick and friendly. Thank you for the drink selections and breakfast.

I've been coming to this same place for years. It's a very convenient hotel (right on the beach) that still has character and charm. The pool is super cool and inviting, and the hotel holds activities there for guests. Breakfast is way better than a typical continental breakfast with warm fresh food every morning. We had the room with the little kitchen and it is very well appointed. Has dishes and silverware, microwave, and a good sized refrigerator. The floor is all tile so easy to get all the sand up that is inevitably going to end up in the room. I'm so glad this place is still around and it's a welcome change from all these high-rise institutional style hotels and condos that are taking over the beach area. This one is SOOOOOOO much better!

Some of the main common areas could have been kept a little cleaner. But there was some construction going on at the time, so I'm sure that was tough.

The location right on the beach was perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We enjoyed the table and chairs, and the full fridge/microwave. The hot breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly.

The room is a bit tired. Bathroom could be refurbished.

The lady at the front when we checked in was kinda rude.. our room wasn’t ready yet .. we waited..I called and ask if our room was ready at 12:55 and the lady was rude with a remark of did you have a missed call.. as I stated I didn’t have good service there ..we got there at 9:30am was told they would call when our room was ready took my number and we didn’t get in a room till 2:30 when I finally went up to the front to ask was what going on after waiting 5 hours for a room or for then to call the lady was like oh I must have taken your number down wrong and said I called you at 1:30.. but I had a reservation so why didn’t they just look their for my number other they that one last it was a great place to stay

I LOVED the fact that all rooms have beach front view. It was nice after being on the beach, taking a shower, then just relaxing on our balcony watching the sunset. The pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus! Plus, the parking is free for guests only. The hotel has restaurants that are within walking distance so you really don't have to go out and drive everywhere, unless you want to.

The breakfast, I liked that it was free for guests, but VERY limited options. I would have thought they would at least offer some breakfast cereals and milk. As well as fruit and bread options. I don't really eat heavy breakfasts, so a bagel or a bowl of cereal with some fruit would have been nice. The days I stayed there they offered Eggs, grits, smoked sausage, tortillas, orange and grapefruit slices, pancakes, and French toast.

Loved the location and the bottom room floor. The pool was amazing. Breakfast was great. The room was beautiful and accompanied everything you may need for your stay. The beds were super comfortable. The drinks at the bar were perfect.

It should be more advertised as a place of where children go, as there was a bar but at the pool there was a lot of events for children. The staff were so nice but none of the housekeepers spoke english and would come into the room without knocking at 8am and we would be indecent and then they couldn’t understand what we asked of them because they didn’t speak english.

the location was great. Rooms were up to date. They had a good breakfast every morning that included eggs,sausage,grits,biscuits and gravy, and fruit. Safe for me to walk in the mornings when I woke up by the road since it did not have a gym. Room was clean and bed was not the worst but we are use to a king bed...comfort wise I give it a 6 for the bed. This hotel was great we will be back.

The elevator was VERY slow and needs a bigger dining area for breakfast..Also would have been nice if there was a gym or a resteraunt in the hotel. But nothing major, we couldn't figure an alternative out for. We like convenience and I was able to walk in the morning and we could just walk down the road for food :)
