Edgewater Golf Villa #12060

It was spacious, quiet, clean it was in a nice spot i loved the view from the patio. Close to food and shopping that was good. I love how the bed felt it was good I could take it home with me.

Everything was good, we did not use the stove or cook but I did notice water was on their an on the cabinet bottom, I don't know if their is a water coming down from the ceiling but I just wiped the water up. I did go back later and the next day to examine the area I did not notice water again so I'm not sure. It could not be anything an just a water bottle that spilled it could be anything. The kids couldn't get in the pool they said they took the pool pass with them an it didn't work they couldn't get in so they came back. But in all we had a great trip.

What you see in the pictures is not what you get. The villa did have some minor issues which I contacted them about. The villa NEEDS to be updated. The finishes in bathroom are builder grade. The villas are quiet, I never heard any noise from the surrounding rooms. All appliances worked. The dryer is rusted and could be upgraded. Need more forks. Matching plate set would be a nice touch also. I would recommend to the owner to update listing pictures. That is not the furniture that was in the room. If you rent this villa when walking out of unit,make sure the door actually locks. I noticed that it didn't lock every time. Overall this is a good place,but there are nicer units.

Just need more instructions about where need to pick up the Parking pass!! Because anytime gave instructions where’s the office to get it!!

We did enjoy the location.

The room we stayed in was NOT as advertised in photos or descriptions, the bedroom had NO chair to sit down comfortably to put shoes ect. on nor were there any instructions on how or which remotes to use to watch television, nor did the kitchen come with everything needed to make a whole meal for family or a blender to make a refreshing drink in the evenings. Also did not explain about toiletries and or paper products such as paper towels, garbage bags, and especially ONLY one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom for your entire stay and never seen ANY staff to ask otherwise.

I reported on the first day the sink was stopped up and old food from the disposal would come in the sink if you turn the water on also, the lock on the door was messed up and you couldn’t lock the door

Outdated TVs had way many remotes and none work! Tv needs to be updated for something more more modern, the smell you first get in is strong, smells old antique like no one has been there in years

the out doors is well maintained and pretty

the bed broke in the middle of the night causing minor injury to my senior citizen mother. there is apparently work being done on the unit however it’s not complete leaving a hole in the master bathroom wall the plug outlets are quite loose and the hot water does not get hot. the unit could be a very nice place but unfinished business could cause major unhurried in the future as the master bed is missing boards.

The only thing we enjoyed was the location

Honestly I didn’t read the reviews until after I booked which I wish I should have. A lot of the complaints I read that go back to 2018 I noticed when we arrived and it’s sad because that tells you they don’t care they just want your money. They rather leave the old dirty furniture instead of replacing it. The sheets and pillowcases on the beds were dirty. We ended up going to Walmart to by a whole sheet set and comforter. The wash rags had pubic hair on them. The trash bags were so thin and cheap we couldn’t use them. They were entirely to small for the trash can I’m assuming that’s why they left them inside it. The sofas were so outdated and dirty we didn’t want to even sit on them. I had to kill two roaches without freaking out and my son noticing otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to sleep. We spent hours from our stay trying to work the lock box that didn’t work. The door never even locked so we had to sleep with it unlocked. The patio door did not lock either. The toilet in master room barley flushes and no need to use the shower because the water does not go down. One minute in and the water was to my ankles. Went to hang my towel on the towel rack and I kid you not it just fell as if it were already broken. Not worth my money!

The resort is awesome great location pools are outstanding

The condo was filthy the mattress was so bad we couldn’t not sleep in the bed. The sheets where not washed the pillow cases where dirty. The kitchen had barley any supplies and was dirty. Very disappointed in this unit. We left 2 days early

Nothing at all. It was horrible

We arrived to a filty unit, smelled horrible, tub leaking water on floor, and the sheets on the bed was filthy and stained like someone used the bathroom in the bed. My wife had to go and buy cleaning materials to clean the unit before the family could sleep.
