Location and cost.

Beds were OK but were not as comfortable as in the past. Front desk was not overly friendly, actually kind of grumpy as if we had interrupted him from something more important than checking us in.

I must start off by saying that the staff were fantastic and very punctual - I only realised after I'd booked the room that the reception was going to close after 9pm and that my flight + the time it took to drive up to St Augustine from Orlando was going to take us beyond that. I messaged the Inn and asked what could be done; they kindly left the key in safe place for us to pick up when we got there. For facilities, room was incredibly spacious and included amenities such as a coffee maker, telephone, and even a fridge. It's in a good location, just outside there were plenty of places to grab a late night snack. It's around a 20 minute walk from the Inn to the centre of St. Augustine. There were plenty of parking spaces and even a pool (make sure you read the rules), which we didn't have time to try, unfortunately. Almost forgot, 5* for the cute and furry visitor.

Very minor, but actual coffee mugs would be a great addition to the room! If I remember correctly, they were paper and they were really only intended for one use.

The location is excellent. East of the Bridge of Lions is much more chill than the old part of town, and it's close enough to walk to downtown St. Augustine. The hotel is surrounded by all kinds of cool restaurants and bars including Odd Birds and Sarbez, and it's a little over a mile from The Amp. We were in town for a concert, so this suited our needs perfectly. The toilet in the bathroom was a full size oval shape with a brand new seat, which I can really appreciate. The fridge and microwave were clean and they smelled good. Best of all, the AC was super effective.

The property is dated and definitely no-frills. The pool is hot tub sized. The queen mattresses weren't uncomfortable, but they were springy and a bitt too bouncy for my hubby and I since we're used to memory foam. We ended up sleeping in separate beds after I accidently woke him up a few times getting up in the night. (Not a big deal as we're not a mushy young couple, but I imagine it would bother newlyweds).

The beach is about a ten minute drive. The Alligator Farm, St. Augustine Lighthouse and miniature golf are also less than ten min drive away. The locations is great if you’re coming to town for a concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheater or going to the old town area for the Christmas lights and celebration.

There isn’t an outlet between the queen beds. I should have brought an extension cord. There isn’t a USB outlet either. So bring your extension cord, charger and plug. The room could stand to be updated with new carpet.

Good place in a walking distance from the town center. The place is not new, but nice, and it's maintained well. The room was clean and had everything for a short 1-night stay we had. We've arrived late night, and the manager offered us a late check-out on his own, and allowed us to leave our car at the parking after the check out time. I recommend this place, and will stop by the next time I visit St Augustine.

The only questionable thing was parking - since we've arrived late, it was a trick to find a free spot and park. The next morning parking was empty though. Also, they don't offer breakfast (in case you care of it). But you can find some free coffee at the registration room.

I loved how clean the room was and how very kind the man was to move me downstairs as the steps were difficult for me. Everyone was very kind, I would stay again. It's a old building but I'm an old woman ... lol 😅

As clean as everything was including the rooms, there was very strong odor that was difficult to get past but we were able with the help of rubbing alcohol that I always take on any vacation

Convenient, great value, accessible, easy in and out; near the historic center; 10 to 20 min to everything on foot; 5 minute drive to lighthouse; 5 more minutes to the beach area. half the price of most hotels in same strip. No frills; just right if you are sightseeing and will only sleep there. Beds adequate. Fits 4 comfortably.

Walls are a bit thin so we experienced some street and neighbor noise one night. Ear plugs helped.

The property is clean, parking was easy. Great access to restaurants within walking distance. Air conditioning in the room was cold. :-) We came for the fireworks on the bridge for 4th of July. Hotels right across the bridge in St Augustine were double what this place costs. We didn’t need an expensive hotel for one night, so this worked out perfectly! I would definitely stay here again.

Quite typical motel with a little pool, but especially the location is a really good one. You´re in touristy St.Augustine in no time, Anastasia State Park is right around the corner, more than one food opportunity in walking distance and also South St. Augustine - where all the diners, food-chains etc. are - is just like a 15 minute drive.

The location was perfect. I went to St. Augustine for a concert at the amphitheater. I was able to Uber, so I didn't have to deal with parking, and Uber was under $10. It's about a 10 min drive to all food places. If you're going into old St. Augustine, it's like 4 min away, but trust me, just Uber over. Finding parking was a nightmare.
