Loved the location. It was an easy walk over the bridge to the "Old Town." We could also walk to a laundromat and there were several restaurants quite close by. The hotel managers were so kind and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the over-sized mini fridge and microwave, a table with 2 chairs, large walk-in shower. Compared to other hotels in the area, the price was reasonable.

The walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors like they were in our room. Had to wear earplugs to get any sleep. No counter space in the bathroom; would have loved some kind of shelf and a hook to hang towels. The shower curtain could have used a wash.

this was a really comfortable and friendly Inn. the room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower. had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. great location. lovely walk across a bridge to the historic town, but also plenty of eating/drinking places around the Inn. fresh market nearby as well if you want to eat in or make use of BBQs provided in their lovely outside seating area.

walls are a little thin, so you can easily hear people talking in adjacent rooms, but as long as you have respectful guests it shouldn’t be a problem

It’s close enough to downtown St. Augustine without being in the middle of everything. Despite being so close to the road, I was surprised at how quiet it was. It’s very affordable. The orange and green trolley will send a shuttle to pick you up at the hotel and back, and into the trolley route. This trolley also has a shuttle to the beach. The managers, Mr. Sam and Ms. Bobbie were very warm and friendly. I will not look for any other place to stay in St. Augustine next time I come back.

Nothing. I was very pleased. It is not a five-star hotel, but I did not pay for a five-star hotel. I have no complaints.

The room was clean and the location is pretty nice. When I visit Saint Augustine I prefer to stay on the other side of the Bridge of Lions so I can walk wherever I choose to go. I stayed at the Best Western the first 2 nights. I moved to the Budget Inn for the 3rd night as the price had gone up too much for a Friday night at BW. I stayed at the Budget Inn as I was planning to go to the Farmer's Market at the Ampitheater on Saturday. This is my second stay at the Budget Inn and I'm sure it won't be my last.

Everything was fine. I cannot think of anything I didn't like.

The staff was really friendly and helpful recommending a place for breakfast etc. It was a great value and the fact that we could walk over the bridge and visit Castillo San Marcos and all other things close by was awesome. not having to drive and find parking was a very big plus. actually the walk over the bridge was enjoyable! will definitely go back again

The check in was a breeze. The owner was so helpful! It reminded me of the old hotels you use to see along the highways in the 60/70s before all the big chains forced them to close. The room was VERY clean, the bed comfy, the linens and towels bright white!! There is an area outside (I think where a pool use to be) that has a lovely little sitting place to enjoy the night air and just talk. The little lights were a bonus too! We really enjoyed the stay, very inexpensive but just what we needed to rest and recharge after touring St. Augustine. We will be back!!

We wanted a clean place within walking distance of the historic district of St. Augustine that was budget friendly for our 3 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Some say the A/C unit is loud, but It didn't bother us as we sleep with the noise of a dehumidifier and fans at home.

This is an older hotel and the exterior painted concrete has seen better days, but the rooms had been freshly painted. Parking was a little difficult and we were told the 3 in the back were for compact cars, which we had. Maybe a sign there would deter the huge truck that was parked there on one of our days.

The clean, well updated rooms and the shower were great. My wife and I were there for 3 nights and were very comfortable. It was a leisurely walk to the historic district of St. Augustine over the bridge which we enjoyed. The bed, in our opinion, was very comfortable. We have a "Puffy" mattress in our home and it was comparable and relaxing.

Well, maybe that it didn't have a pool but it was wasn't a must have for us. I'm sure if we had kids there a pool would have been a plus.

The shower was really big and worked well. The check in was easy and staff very friendly. Location was excellent just a short walk to downtown .

The air conditioning never shut off, the fan which was in auto mode ran constantly even thou the temperature was satisfied.

The property is older, but very well maintained. We liked having the refrigerator and microwave area, which is not usually found at this budget price point. Staff was very friendly. Beds were pretty comfortable. Location to attractions is great, and the Bridge of Lions is within easy walking distance. We were there during the Christmas Night of Lights and it was beautiful!

The area is very near some bars/restaurants that get a little loud in the evening, but I sleep with a noise machine and the AC on, so it didn't keep me awake. Just a note for light sleepers.
