Location was excellent, right across Lion's Bridge with a very easy walk into the main part of the historical district. The property, while older, was clean and well maintained, with modern updates to many areas done in a very cool reproduction 50s/60s style. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Leah and Daniel. They had great FREE parking, and even allowed us to check out late the next morning so we could enjoy checking out a few things we didn't get time to see the day before. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this little gem of a property, and we highly recommend giving it a chance!

There was nothing that we didn't like about the property, location, cleanliness, or staff. If there was anything at all to complain about (and I am reaching here) it is that there isn't an elevator and there aren't any restaurants nearby that serve breakfast, at least not that we found. Those things did not take anyway anything in our view of this property as we still give it a 10!

Great location, clean, comfortable, owner clearly takes pride and is very welcoming. Small place with "motel" setup, so parking is close. Our room was first floor and there was no noise from the road for it being so close. Window had blinds and curtains to keep everything dark. Mini fridge with freezer is a nice touch. On this side of the bridge, bars and restaurants stay open later, but if you want to go to old town, it's just a scenic walk over the bridge.

I loved it, but it is an older building and some of the fixtures are older. If that really bugs you, this isn't for you, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable for a very reasonable price.

Just a short walk across the Lions Bridge to St. Augustine. We stayed in Room 110, a comfy and clean and newly renovated king bed room. We saw another room being renovated while we were there. It’s small but you don’t go to St Augustine to stay in your room. Don’t believe the old reviews. The new owners are making a big difference. And the rates are great.

I paid $100 so I won’t nitpick.

The property was super cute, very affordable it looked very kept up with outside maintenance very clean. Super cute little pool not very big, but still clean and nice, I used it. The rooms were clean the beds were good, pillows were good sheets were soft. My room had a super cute little vanity in it I was able to sit and while getting ready for the night out. Also in a great location across the bridge is downtown St. Augustine it’s a 6 min drive across or a 25 min walk. Also walking distance to local bars & restaurants. So across the street to the right of the hotel there was a nice place I can’t remember the name of it, it’s was Bird something, but it has the white lights outside all lit up you can’t miss it. Anyway we just went for drinks and the bartenders were super cool Austin and Garrett made us a couple stiff one which made walking back to the room a lot of fun lol 🥴🤣

Not much I can say except maybe the only thing would be need blackout curtains for windows the hall light was kinda bright, I closed the curtain it was ok but maybe if they were a little thicker to block the light more would be good, but not a deal breaker.

Very hospitable management, friendly and helpful. We arrived on a super hot day and were immediately offered cold beverages. Considering that it is a budget friendly property it is well appointed. Very clean room and a bathroom with plenty of good towels. Cheerful decor and comfortable beds. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and tv set. Coffee, tea and condiments as well as multiple bottles of water were complimentary. Upon request we were provided extra pillows. I will definitely consider Historic Inn for my next stay in St. Augustine!

It’s in a great location. Right off the Lion bridge so you are close enough to historic downtown to get to everything easily, but not right in the middle of all the traffic and craziness. We honestly could’ve walked across the bridge to downtown if we really wanted too. The room was also very clean which made our stay even that much more comfortable.

The pool was a lot smaller than I expected with nowhere for us to really sit, so we didn’t get to do that at all. But we were busy doing other things so it wasn’t a big deal.

The front office staff were great. After checking in, one staff member walked me to the room, and showed me the amenities. He also provided my friend and I two bottles of water each and flavored and plain creamer. The retro color scheme was very cute, and I liked that appliances and phone kept with the scheme. The bed was quite comfortable.

The one thing I didn't like was that when we got up early to leave, the front office was closed, and there was no drop box for the key card. I had to push it under the cardboard covering the window opening to the office and I worried someone might take it and go in the room.

Staff greeted us with a smile. Once paperwork was done, staff member "took/showed" us our room. She made sure ALL was ready and stated..."If we NEED anything, she was available. Location was great, within 5-10 minutes (depending on incoming traffic) from downtown. The wife and I would recommend this location...even if more than the one night we stayed.

Nothing to say.....all was GOOD. The wife and I have stayed in places like this before, but this was by far the nicest...and for the money. For a place to stay overnight...."Do It!"

Felt very welcomed by the owner. He went above and beyond for us!

It was very difficult to figure out how to run the tv! I usually know how (or troubleshoot) things like this. The second night the hotel personnel helped me with getting in tune to their local channels & how to use BOTH remotes! The young lady and the hotel owner were very hospitable to help us out with the tv remotes. He also helped us with getting a room specifically made for handicapped people . My hubby is disabled and he assisted him greatly to accommodate his every need!

The room was newly renovated, so very clean and updated. The hotel is close to downtown, so you can walk downtown. The towels were thick towels that you would have at home and not those thin ones.

For the location and value, I can't think of anything that could be better. Breakfast was not available, but I don't eat breakfast, so that was not an issue for me. Coffee was available in the room and was good.
