Very close to the beach, the Pier, and The Crow's Nest, all things we enjoy. The continental breakfast was AMAZING for a continental breakfast!

Asked for room facing the gulf as we were celebrating our anniversary. Rec'd response that our request would be accommodated, only to find when we got there that the reply did not come from the Inn but from Booking.com and wasn't honored. We ended up in the opposite end of the Inn facing the street. The person on duty did come back to us and move us to a room closer to the beach, while not facing it. At least it was an improvement and he tried. He explained that if we have a special request we should book with the hotel directly not Booking.com. Makes me leery of using Booking.com now.

All staff members were amazing. From the first welcome to checking out. They were super friendly and very helpful. The location is great. On our first morning, after having breakfast, we took a quick detour to the beach instead of walking back directly to our room, because it is literally a 1-minute walk. We immediately found a bunch of shark teeth on the shore line, which made our day. They also let you take sharktooth sifters and other beach equipment, free of charge, for as long as you stay there.

If I'm being picky, the breakfast is prepared by a local baker, which is very nice, but it is mostly sweet treats like cakes and donuts. We wanted something savory and ended up eating the bagel with cream cheese every morning, because there wasn't a lot of choice in that regard (e.g. ham, cheese, bacon, eggs, etc.). The interior is great and clean, but maybe a little dated.

Location was perfect. A few steps away from the beach. All boutiques, eatery is down the road, everything was easy and accessible. They had beach towels, umbrellas and chairs for us to use at the beach; which when your flying it’s super convenient. The room was super clean and awesome size, nice closet space, with kitchenette. Nice private patio on mine bc I was facing the back of the building otherwise if your facing other ways yours won’t be so private. Great place . Can’t speak in breakfast I’m gf we didn’t eat there

I had to do a last minute zoom conference call, and their computer is right at the entrance door where everyone could hear and see what we’re doing. In addition, there’s no camera on their PC. Had to end up using my phone, which if you’ve ever done a zoom call on your phone you know how prohibited it is.

This place i a magic. From the moment we arrived, Matt at the reception just ‘embraced’ us with his care. Check in took 2 minutes. Our room was ready. Hotel has offered everything you need: bottled water, snacks , parking, beach chairs and umbrella. And most important -hospitality. Staff makes a place. Breakfast ( included) just perfect. We even got a big towel as A GIFT. We wanted to buy but Linda had offered us a perfect towel as as gift. Thank you very much. We used it

Some dust in the room:on shutters , in bathroom drawings. But it was really minor. Maybe it just me as I like everything to be spotless

The location couldn’t be better for shark tooth hunting. Venice Beach is right across the street, and two others are a short drive down Harbor Drive South. The room was very clean and was serviced daily. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels were available at no charge. Coffee and water were available in the lobby all day, and a water bottle refilling station was available. The air conditioner and ceiling fan kept us comfortable.

The bathroom was a bit small for a large person. For the short amount of time we spent there each day, the room was pricey, but the desk attendant suggested calling the inn directly next time, to get the best price.

This is a wonderful, small boutique hotel very close to Venice Beach. The staff were exceptional. There is a good, cold breakfast available every morning (which was fine for us). We appreciated that there were beach chairs available and even baskets to sift the sand for shark teeth! It is also walking distance to the quaint downtown area with lots of local shops and restaurants.

Beautiful room. Beds are comfy. Super clean. Felt very safe. Everything you need was close by in this sweet little beach side resort, I call it my bungalow! Gosh what an excellent price for this type of room steps from the beach, ground floor, 2 beds, small kitchen facing the beach. Staff super nice. We even got to swim in pool late, late at night (11p.m.). Never have I ever been able to relax in a late night swim after a long day at play. So special. If your considering this place I recommend it as 5-star stay.

Only thing I didn't like was... that I had to leave.

Breakfast was good for a "continental breakfast". We didn't like the juices, just no flavor to them. We had left our shark tooth hunting gear at home but the hotel had them to loan to us. That was a nice feature. The hotel was directly across the street from the beach, nice location.

We did have to ask for a box fan as the hotel fan only had 1 speed and it couldn't be changed. The beach wasn't in the best condition. So much seaweed. The sand must have been brought in, it was extremely hot under your feet, not the soft white sand we are used to. We were disappointed and went to a different beach in the area.

This hotel is literally across the street from the beach. A two-minute walk and your feet can be in the water! The front desk staff were all friendly. The room was clean and cozy and daily housekeeping kept us in towels (a must for showering after beach time). The Inn is located close to all the downtown shops and restaurants so we didn’t have to travel far for a good meal or a cute trinket.

The bed hurt my back but my husband slept just fine. I chalk this up to my sensitive back not necessarily the quality of the mattress.

Perfect location and our suite had a view across the street to the beach. We had a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a bedroom. The continental breakfast was very nice. You can walk to restaurants and shops in Venice and walk across the road to the lovely beach.

When I booked the photo showed a private balcony. When we checked in our room had a place to sit outside the door on the main walkway shared with other rooms. I was told by the front desk that there were 4 rooms in the suite category we booked. Two had balconies and two did not. So that was a little disappointing. We couldn’t check in until 4pm which is what they guarantee. Most hotels have rooms ready earlier. No one told us when we checked in that there were beach chairs and umbrellas available from the front desk.
