Newly renovated. Attractive, quality renovations. Huge walk in pool. All floors are vinyl wood look. Rooms are very clean. Great beds and linens. Air conditioning worked well. No smells in room. Difficult to find property initially because of lack of signs but once you find it it is easy access to both directions of the highway. Burger King in parking lot. Close to Venice, Nokomis and beaches. Staff was all very courteous.

Getting housekeeping to clean our room was unacceptable. We went to front desk 3 days in a row and only after we threw our towels and trash on the walkway in front of our room did housekeeping clean room on the 4 th day. The notices in the room (Mirror placard, hanging card about water saving and housekeeping)!about housekeeping are conflicting and do not match their actual operations. They need to throw out and update. We were there for 5 nights.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice. The breakfast was good.

The people in the connected room smoked pot that stunk up our room. The staff made it right for us. Upon checking in we were charged a $50.00 Incidental fee and told that in the event we would go to the poolside bar and order drinks we could charge them to our room. The bar said they don't do that. Also one last item rather than charging my card for the full amount for the stay, their system broke it down into multiple charges. So be warned. Keep an eye on your account.

The room was nice and spacious and everything needed was in the room. The hotel was also centrally located to where I was visiting family and friends. My godson loved the pool. The only problem was the smoking.

I did not like that people were smoking at the pool. I reported them and a manager came out and spoke to them. A short time later, the same couple smoked again. I reported it and no one came. Very disappointing as I don's smoke and didn't want to expose myself or my godson to the smoke. Also, the room didn't get cleaned and towels replaced until I'd been there three days.

I love location, close to beach and city!! Loved the hot tub! The pool was really nice!! floors were nice. Room size was good. Bedding very comfortable.maids were super friendly and helpful!! Booking.com had apparently cancelled our rooms without telling us...however manager at hotel was wonderful and gave us a room we requested and honored the pricing!! Had grassy area for dog and doggy bag stations!

The tub was not draining, one of the beds had a huge sag on the middle of bed. The other bed was very comfortable. They need an outside shower or hose for guests...when you come from beach you can hose off shoes from all the sand. Need another towel rack in bathroom.

The staff was courteous, rooms are clean and well maintained. Pool area was checked on throughout the day for any tiding up and straightening. The drinks at the pool side bar were very yummy along with the Restaurant food was very good.

The bed was a little too soft and we ended up having to go get our own replacement towels.

The hotel is clean. The staff are wonderful, helpful, and friendly.

For almost $200 a night, this is a dated roadside hotel. It has neither location nor amenities to justify that cost. The fact that so many hotels have been damaged by recent hurricanes is their justification for inflated prices. It is a typical Wyndham project. The rooms are motellike and it is miles from the water. The only thing attractive about the hotel is the people that work there. I give them the credit for making everyone's stay a positive.

Pool area and food good.

Their was a dirty towel in room. Curtain pull bar was broke and laying nearby. Carpets were old and appeared dirty on stairs and 2nd floor. No maid service unless I put a request in the day before by 1pm. Out of items I asked for in their store and in restaurant. No appropriate sign of name of hotel.

Loved the complementary coffee each morning, fresh and hot! The pool and the hot tub were awesome. The staff were very friendly.

This is our third stay here and its the second time that they were out of towels. We had two towels in our room and went two days without any pool towels or bath towels. We were given more towels on the fourth day and we ended up with like 5 or 6. That was fine for the remainder of our stay. Not a huge deal...but kind of inconvenient! Still loved our stay!

Christie, Scott, Kendra and the rest of the staff were awesome at every turn. Their key system was not working during our stay and they had to handle walking everyone to their rooms each time they needed to get back in. They all handled it with grace under pressure, as they always do. They always make Greg and I and our dog Jessie very comfortable and welcome. We stay there every few weeks when in town to attend to our 98 year old father in an assisted living home near by. We are so grateful for this incredible hotel with an incredibly friendly and accommodating staff!! We will be back again soon!! -Tracey & Greg Clarkson

Maybe get a fan in the gym so it isn't so hot and steamy in there.

The hotel was close to the beaches which was the main reason for our trip. Also it was in a nice area close to restaurants and some stores. Little long for a walk, but was able to walk to the beach. Driving was only about 5 minutes.

There was an MMA event happening on the night we stayed so parking was limited. However, the Manager made us aware of it at check-in and asked that we please be patient. Found a parking space close to our room with no problems and it wasn't real noisy, which I was afraid of because of the event.
